"What did you say?"

Vivian Sinclair completely lost her composure, gasping in disbelief.

She looked at the man in front of her, unable to believe her ears, and even more unable to believe the outrageous words he had just said.

Though she truly was planning to divorce Austin Grant.

But did he understand what he was saying?

"Julian Thorne, what kind of dicine are you under the influence of?"

"Are you delirious from a fever, going mad?"

Julian Thorne did not respond.

Because the antidote’s effects had taken hold, and under the double assault of stimulation, he fell unconscious on Vivian Sinclair’s shoulder after speaking.

Vivian stayed perfectly still, waiting until Julian’s scorching forehead woke her from her stupor, confirming that he had lost consciousness.

Vivian gritted her teeth, using all her strength to lay Julian Thorne down on the floor.

As a pregnant woman, she could no longer move him.

But at least, Vivian Sinclair was free.

She took deep breaths, touched her belly with lingering fear.

"It was nonsense after all."

Seeing him unconscious, Vivian Sinclair instead let out a sigh of relief.

Thankfully there was a carpet; his fall didn’t seem too severe.

She hurried to leave, but her peripheral vision noticed Julian Thorne’s disheveled clothing, and even a very evident bulge below his abdon.

Vivian’s cheeks instantly flushed.

She quickly patted her face, hesitating for a mont.

If he lies there and catches a cold... will he rember everything when he wakes up and settle accounts with her?

Vivian hurriedly grabbed a blanket, randomly opened it, and tossed it onto the man before hastily escaping the room without daring to glance back.

Vivian leaned against the door to adjust her breathing before leaving.

A maid rushed towards her in the corridor.

Seeing Vivian Sinclair, she seed a bit flustered.

"Miss Sinclair."

The maid bowed her head, retreating to the side, waiting for Vivian Sinclair to pass.

Vivian didn’t think much of it, nodded, and quickly walked past.

The maid secretly breathed a sigh of relief, waiting until Vivian had completely left before turning back toward the room.

Upon arriving, the maid hesitated for only a few seconds before reaching for the doorknob, ready to push it open, when a cold voice ca from behind: "What are you doing?"

The maid jumped in fright.

She turned to see Vivian Sinclair staring skeptically at her, her face turning pale.

"Miss, Miss Sinclair, I, I, I’m just following orders to ask sir, do you need... do you need..."

The maid lowered her head, her face flushed.

Vivian stepped forward: "Need what?"

"Beware of lying, or I’ll ask Butler Turner; any lie will be exposed."

"You’re sneaking around Mr. Thorne’s door, acting suspiciously. Must I spell it out?"

The maid trembled, almost collapsing to her knees.

"I, I did nothing, Miss Sinclair, please don’t accuse ."

Then she took off running.

Vivian shook her head.

With such a cowardly deanor, she still dared to attempt such things.

If Julian discovered her afterward, would she live to see another day?

Vivian checked the ti; it was almost ten.

She was still worried about Stella, but feared that more people would lust after the "juicy morsel" in this house.

Thinking of Julian’s restraint and forbearance tonight, Vivian couldn’t bear to leave.

She stood at the door for a long ti until Truman led the doctor hurriedly over.

Seeing Vivian at the door, he was montarily stunned.

"Miss Sinclair? You—"

Truman was shocked.

Vivian’s expression remained unchanged: "Go inside and check."

"I’ll visit Stella."

With that, she nodded and promptly left.

After Truman brought Jason into the room, they saw Julian Thorne lying on the floor, their expressions changed as they rushed forward.

Only to find out that sir’s, how, how were his clothes disheveled?

Jason noticed his dical case on the table had been tampered with and a syringe in the bin.

He picked up the report on the table and retrieved the syringe, saying to Truman, who was trying to help Julian up: "Looks like so interesting things happened here while we were gone."

Stella was crying miserably.

Seeing Vivian Sinclair, she imdiately stretched out her arms: "Sister Sinclair, boo-hoo..."

Vivian noticed Stella’s forehead had broken a wound, startling.

"How did you get injured?"

The wound seed to have stitches.

Vivian couldn’t help feeling heartache, imdiately hugging Stella to comfort her.

Stella said: "There are moons and stars in the water. I wanted to fish the moon for brother and the stars for Sister Sinclair."

"But it hurt so much, and it was so cold... boo-hoo..."

Beside her, Matron Turner, with eyes full of heartache, said, "Miss, that’s a pool. Everything in the water is fake!"

"You even walked to the pool in your dreams, consider yourself lucky to only be hurt this ti?"

Stella’s illness sotis made her resemble a child.

Being completely sane and normal was said to be rare.

If this continues, she might engage in more extre and dangerous behavior.

Vivian watched this wholeso girl morph into such a state, feeling not only pity and compassion for Stella but also hatred toward the kidnappers who ruined her life!

Thinking of Julian Thorne now, sharing similar childhood experiences, not only suffered the sa psychological trauma and tornt but watched his sister beco this way.

And worsening day by day, perhaps to an untreatable condition.

At this mont, she sohow understood why he insisted on finding her and keeping her at Crestfall Villa.

"Stella, let’s be good, and cooperate with the doctor’s treatnt."

"This way Stella won’t fall again."

"And she’ll understand why you can’t fish the moon out of the water."

"Stella will beco a smart, good baby."

Stella Thorne clung to Vivian Sinclair, hugging her waist and refusing to let go.

"I listen to Sister Sinclair, I want to be a good baby."

Matron Turner was wiping her reddened eyes nearby, and suddenly her gaze stopped on the bulging abdon under Vivian Sinclair’s nightwear.

Matron Turner was startled.

Because it was autumn and winter, Vivian Sinclair’s usual attire did not reveal a baby bump.

But now Vivian Sinclair was dressed thinly and being hugged by Stella Thorne, so her belly was exposed.

Matron Turner thought: Why does Miss Sinclair’s belly look like she’s pregnant?

Matron Turner widened her eyes in shock, with a thousand suspicions in her heart but unable to voice them.

After putting Stella Thorne to sleep, Vivian Sinclair returned to her room.

However, after lying down, she couldn’t fall asleep.

The events of tonight were too absurd and unexpected.

Now, whenever she closed her eyes, it was as if those fiery breaths were still spraying on her neck, and those eyes, black to the point of red, almost consuming her mind...

Vivian Sinclair got up and took another shower.

Finally, she cald down.

She covered her face, not even knowing how to face Julian Thorne tomorrow.

Now she only hoped he would wake up and pretend nothing happened, otherwise, Vivian Sinclair couldn’t stay.

When she opened her eyes, it was broad daylight.

Vivian Sinclair sat up slowly, thinking: It’s already this ti, Julian Thorne should have gone to the company, right?

However, when she went downstairs, she found that Julian Thorne not only hadn’t gone to work but was sitting in the dining room casually dressed, reading the news on a tablet.

Vivian Sinclair almost turned around and left.

"Miss Sinclair."

"I was waiting for you."

Vivian Sinclair had no choice but to grit her teeth and continue downstairs.

"Mr. Thorne, are you... well?"

She had to muster the courage to ask, otherwise, she couldn’t eat a single bite.

Julian Thorne didn’t look up and only responded with a faint ’mm.’

But Butler Turner saw that Mr. Thorne’s ears and neck were gradually turning red at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Butler Turner raised an eyebrow, increasingly convinced of what Jason said last night.

Sothing must have happened between Miss Sinclair and Mr. Thorne last night.

But it’s not a good thing.

Last night, Mother ntioned that Miss Sinclair seed pregnant.

Everyone at Crestfall Villa welcod Miss Sinclair, but no one forgot that she is not only W but also the Young Madam of The Grant Family.

This identity, along with being pregnant, if sothing happened with Mr. Thorne...

For The Thorne Family, it would probably be a disaster.

Vivian Sinclair noticed that Butler Turner was staring at her, she nodded friendly and then sat down.

Butler Turner quickly ca over to personally pour her so milk.

"Please enjoy your al, Miss Sinclair."

Vivian Sinclair held the milk cup, and Julian Thorne raised a hand to indicate everyone to leave.

Once everyone was gone, Julian Thorne spoke in a low voice, "Miss Sinclair, about last night..."

Vivian Sinclair quickly stated, "Don’t worry! I don’t rember anything."

Julian Thorne paused, then laughed in anger, "You want to pretend nothing happened?"

Vivian Sinclair: ?

Should she pretend sothing happened?

Vivian Sinclair’s heart raced as she rembered those two sentences he said before fainting!

Could it be that he really rembered what he said?

Vivian Sinclair felt uneasy.

Seeing her expression, Julian Thorne leaned back in his chair, his expression dimming, "Alright."

"Let’s not talk about last night for now."

"Let’s talk about Jordan Vance’s suicide, his death wasn’t that simple."

Vivian Sinclair quickly detached from her personal emotions, her eyes wide open, "You noticed that too!"

The word ’too’ made Julian Thorne smile slightly, "Then Miss Sinclair, tell what you discovered."

Vivian Sinclair: "His suicide note didn’t reveal my identity as W, nor did it ntion your setup against him at the hospital."

"It didn’t even ntion that Old Madam Grant was the real culprit behind the setup against back then, only drawing out the most innocent teacher in the event."

"He seed to be wary of sothing, hiding sothing."

"But if losing his reputation and being expelled from the sect could lead him to suicide, it still feels like sothing is missing..."

Julian Thorne: "Miss Sinclair’s analysis is very reasonable."

"This Jordan Vance doesn’t seem like soone who would commit suicide easily."

"So, are you already suspicious?"

Vivian Sinclair looked serious, "I suspect soone might have threatened him, or maybe, it wasn’t even a suicide!"

The thought sent shivers down her spine.

In her past twenty-three years, she had never encountered such a thing, so it was hard for her to adjust to such events happening around her.

"Could it be the Grant Family?"

That’s as far as Vivian Sinclair could think.

Only Old Madam Grant would fear Jordan Vance exposing her.

But she quickly shook her head, denying this guess.

"She’s still in critical condition, should not have had the opportunity."

"The other mbers of The Grant Family are too busy to know the inner story."

"Who could it possibly be..."

Julian Thorne was about to speak when Truman ca in.

He looked a bit urgent and reported to Julian Thorne, "Sir, the Madam has returned."

"She seems very angry."
