The wedding car drove toward the hotel.
Scarlett Jewel, sitting on the right, looked out the car window. At first, she didn’t see Claire rcer’s poster.
She gazed at the giant poster of her own wedding photo, her heart swelling with delight.
But after she got out of the car, she saw that Claire rcer’s poster was, to her surprise, on the other side.
The smile on her face instantly froze.
"What is going on?" she suddenly asked Gavin Sinclair, who was beside her in his wheelchair.
She saw Gavin staring blankly at Claire rcer’s poster, his eyes locked onto it.
With just one glance, he was utterly captivated by the Claire rcer on the poster.
Her features were delicate and graceful, yet possessed a dignified air.
The smile on her face was bright and youthful, with a hint of sweet modesty.
Her long, wavy black hair was draped casually over her shoulders.
Even in a single photograph, her captivating charm was undeniable.
Her face was even more beautiful than the top beauty in the country’s entertainnt industry; it was impossible to look away.
Seeing Gavin’s eyes practically welded to Claire rcer’s poster, Scarlett Jewel was so furious she nearly burst a blood vessel.
"Gavin Sinclair, what is the aning of this?"
"You’re marrying today, yet you’re staring at your ex-wife’s poster with such a look of fascination..."
"Do you think I’m invisible? Do you even take seriously at all?"
Gavin Sinclair was already incredibly annoyed.
He was only marrying Scarlett Jewel because he had no other choice.
But this wedding... from the bride pickup in the morning to serving tea at the Sinclair Family estate, and now this...
She hadn’t stopped making trouble the entire ti.
Constantly finding fault, constantly nitpicking.
"Scarlett Jewel, what the hell are you on about?"
"I just glanced at her photo. What are you yapping about?"
He scoffed, a cold, mirthless smile playing on his lips.
"So what if I stare at her photo? So what if I go out and find other won?"
"Don’t you forget how you seduced in the first place."
"You knew I was married, yet you willingly beca my mistress."
"So you’d better be prepared to accept finding other mistresses in the future."
"Rember this: you have no right to ever criticize ."
At the ntion of her sordid history of being the mistress who took over, Scarlett Jewel’s face turned livid with rage.
Even the thick layer of foundation she wore couldn’t hide her face, twisted with fury.
"Gavin Sinclair, you..."
Gavin Sinclair stared at her with a grim expression and asked through gritted teeth,
"Why can’t you ever seem to understand your place?"
"What’s your status? Huh? Just the daughter of a bankrupt family."
"You should be grateful that you get to marry , Gavin Sinclair. You should be quiet and obey my every command."
"But look at you now, so insatiably greedy it’s disgusting."
"It’s one thing not to be content, but you’re also endlessly greedy and constantly starting trouble."
"Do you really think you can do whatever you want and control just because you’re carrying my child?"
"Let tell you, I can call off this wedding at any mont. Try if you don’t believe it."
His patience had been completely worn away by her.
Comparing her to the image of Claire rcer on the poster...
He felt like he must have been blind, his judgnt utterly clouded.
The two of them were completely incomparable.
’How could I have been deceived by such a classless creature?’
After shooting Scarlett Jewel a vicious glare, Gavin Sinclair couldn’t help but look up again at Claire rcer on the poster.
’How had I never noticed how beautiful she was before...?’
He glanced again at Scarlett Jewel’s furious face... then turned and furiously wheeled himself into the hotel.
Scarlett Jewel watched Gavin Sinclair’s retreating, furious back, biting her lip fiercely.
’This was the wedding she had longed for.’
’It absolutely could not be canceled on the wedding day.’
’She couldn’t afford such a humiliation.’
’Besides, they had already gotten their marriage certificate.’
’They were a legally married couple.’
’She was the legitimate Mrs. Sterling of the Sinclair Family.’
’She really shouldn’t ask for more.’
As long as Claire rcer wasn’t involved, she could remain calm and composed, facing and accepting everything with poise.
But when she saw Claire rcer’s poster right next to her own wedding photo—and saw how damn beautiful and captivating Claire looked in it, making her own photo seem so plain and dull in comparison—how could she not be furious?
And then, to see her own husband staring at the poster, utterly srized.
She felt as if her dignity had been ruthlessly thrown to the ground and stomped on.
Given all that, of course she couldn’t control the jealousy and rage boiling inside her.
Scarlett Jewel shot a venomous glare at Claire rcer’s image on the poster.
She seethed with a hatred so intense she could have ground her teeth to dust.
’She already divorced Gavin Sinclair, she should have just disappeared for good.’
’A good ex should be like a dead person.’
’But this Claire rcer just had to linger like a restless ghost, refusing to leave.’
’She was always finding so way to pop up in her life at every turn.’
’Stirring up trouble and giving her no peace.’
Just like now.
’She and Gavin Sinclair were holding their wedding today.’
’And Claire rcer just had to hold her family recognition banquet today, of all days.’
’Weren’t there any other auspicious days to choose from?’
’Holding the family recognition banquet on the sa day as their wedding was one thing.’
’But why did she have to hold her banquet at the very sa hotel where she and Gavin Sinclair were holding their wedding reception?’
’There are so many hotels in Rhonia, why did she have to pick this one?’
However, what would truly make Scarlett Jewel break down was yet to co.
After shooting one last hateful glare at Claire rcer on the poster, she too turned and entered the hotel.
When she reached the floor where her wedding banquet was to be held, she was completely dumbfounded.
Scarlett Jewel was so infuriated by the sight of another of Claire rcer’s posters, this one at the entrance to the banquet hall on the other side, that she actually laughed.
’Great... Just great.’
’The family recognition banquet was booked for the sa day as her wedding, at the sa hotel.’
’And now, even the banquet halls were on the sa floor.’
’This Claire rcer was clearly doing it on purpose.’
’Deliberately trying to disgust her, deliberately trying to piss her off.’
Scarlett Jewel stared daggers at Claire rcer on the poster, wishing she could rip her face to shreds.
anwhile, after resting for a short while in the lounge, Claire rcer went with Mrs. Rowan and Silas Rowan to the entrance of the banquet hall to personally greet the guests.
The mont she stepped out, she saw Scarlett Jewel clenching her jaw, staring at her poster.
Her eyes, which were never pure to begin with, were blazing with a furious fire.
Claire rcer scoffed inwardly.
’What right does she have to look at my poster like that?’
’From start to finish, what have I ever done to offend her?’
"What’s wrong?" Adrian Sutton asked quickly when he noticed the slight change in her expression.
Claire rcer shook her head. "It’s nothing."
Following her gaze, Adrian Sutton looked toward the banquet hall on the other side.
When he saw the look on Scarlett Jewel’s face—as if she wanted to eat Claire alive—he understood everything.
’That shaless mistress. What right does she have to look at his Claire like that?’
’It seems her life is a little too peaceful. I’ll have to slowly find sothing to keep her busy.’
