"Mr. Lu, do you rember what happened last night?”

At Xiao Mountain Airport’s check-in counter, Zhang Tian’ai was fully equipped with sunglasses, a mask, and a hat, wrapping herself tightly like a stranger walking beside Lu Liang.

Fortunately, last night’s party was filled with big shots, and as a second-tier starlet, she wasn’t worth being mobbed by fans.

"Last night?”

Lu Liang walked and recalled uncertainly, “I called you over, and then you ca. What happened next?”

He vaguely rembered that he didn’t black out, but it was just a vague mory, after all, he drank quite a bit last night.

"Oh~ it’s nothing, if you don’t rember, then forget it.” Zhang Tian’ai felt depressed, almost writing disappointnt on her face.

"If you help rember, I might recall it.”

Lu Liang’s curiosity was successfully piqued, and he suddenly put his arm around Zhang Tian’ai’s neck, threatening viciously, “What? Is there sothing you can’t tell when I’m sober?”

"It’s nothing, really. We’ll talk about it after boarding.” Zhang Tian’ai’s face turned anxious, but when she realized no one was paying attention to them, she breathed a sigh of relief, and a sly glint appeared in her lively eyes.

Heh heh, Lu Liang was so drunk last night,

Whether he blacked out or not was up to her to decide.

Lu Liang nodded slightly and didn’t pursue the matter further, boarding the plane with Zhang Tian’ai.

The plane took off slowly, then entered the stratosphere, and would be arriving in Beijing in an hour and a half.

Lu Liang unbuckled his seatbelt, left his seat, and led Zhang Tian’ai to the middle of the airplane where the dining area was.

"What would you like to eat?”

Still suffering from a hangover, Lu Liang’s stomach felt uncomfortable, so he only ordered a bowl of white porridge and so side dishes.

"The sa as you, please.”

Zhang Tian’ai’s large eyes lit up with curiosity, like a curious baby, as she touched everything around her.

It was her first ti on such a luxurious plane, like a suite in the sky, with everything from entertainnt to leisure to a conference room.

Suddenly realizing Lu Liang was staring at her, Zhang Tian’ai tried to maintain her composure, pondering for a mont, “Mr. Lu, if I say sothing, you can’t get mad.”

"Hmm, go ahead.” Lu Liang beca even more curious.

"Do you rember you suddenly woke up in the middle of the night last night?”

Zhang Tian’ai probed cautiously; she needed to know how much Lu Liang rembered about last night so she could spin her story accordingly.

Lu Liang nodded, “I have so impression, I woke up and found you were the one taking care of , right?”

Zhang Tian’ai responded with a soft hum, speaking carefully, “Actually, after you woke up last night, you tossed and turned in bed for a long ti before finally resting in the early morning.”

"How was I tossing?”

Lu Liang couldn’t help but feel a tinge of doubt. He knew Little Lu’s character well; when he got drunk and passed out, he was as harmless as a puppy.

The so-called drunk behavior was more like using alcohol as an excuse; a truly drunk person wouldn’t have a single thought.

"Not the kind of tossing you think.” Zhang Tian’ai glared with captivating beauty, radiating charm and allure.

Wealth and popularity could nurture a person; if one possesses both, one’s temperant and appearance can change drastically in a short ti.

Zhang Tian’ai had been nurtured by both for over three years. Although only a second-tier starlet, she leaned on Lu Liang.

Not only did she enjoy first-tier resources, but she also didn’t have to endure the pressure of being a first-tier star, living a life where she grew younger by the day; playing a carefree high school girl wasn’t out of the question.

She gradually explained how Lu Liang tossed and turned instead of sleeping last night, and how they snuggled and talked heart-to-heart before falling asleep together.

"Last night, we talked a lot about life, work, and… family.” Zhang Tian’ai slyly observed Lu Liang’s reaction.

Seeing Lu Liang’s expression unchanged, she braced herself and said, “At that ti, I ntioned that I was actually born in ’89, but to beco part of the ’90s generation, I secretly tampered with the info on Baike.”

"Even if you take Baike’s data as accurate, I’ll be 28 turning 29 this year. I’ve told you before that I’d like to beco a mother before 30. That way, by the ti the kid graduates from college, I won’t be a sixty-year-old granny.”

Counting rice grains in her soup, Zhang Tian’ai didn’t dare to et Lu Liang’s eyes, afraid he’d discover the blatant lie she was telling.

She didn’t want to capitalize on being a mother, she just hoped that in the future, when she beca old and unattractive, there’d be a child to keep her company, but Lu Liang might not see it that way.

But after all, she was almost thirty, and she was seeing less and less of Lu Liang; if she didn’t bring this up now, she might never get the chance again.

"So I agreed?” Lu Liang asked, as Zhang Tian’ai nodded vigorously.

"Then what are you waiting for?” Lu Liang’s lips curled up into a mischievous smile.

Feeling refreshed after eating and drinking, he imdiately picked Zhang Tian’ai up and headed toward the lounge at the back of the plane, planning to have a passionate and intense turbulence.

Lu Liang couldn’t rember what happened last night, whether it was true or not, as the saying goes, “More births lead to better lives, happiness all life.”

They had known each other for three years, about to enter the fourth year, and Little Love was soone he watched grow up. Giving an explanation wasn’t impossible.

"Mr. Lu~ In broad daylight, I’m afraid it’s not very appropriate~”

Zhang Tian’ai paused, smiled foolishly, her bright eyes like a rippling spring, almost resembling tears.

She was just an ordinary girl, without much ambition or many ideas.

Having a successful career, she just wanted to start a family and have a few children, even if they would see each other less in the future.

After all, only a place with children can be called a ho, no longer a cold mix of cent and steel.

"But it seems it doesn’t think so.” Lu Liang withdrew his hand, his fingertips translucent, like an unbreakable bond.

Zhang Tian’ai blushed, holding onto Lu Liang’s neck even tighter, murmuring, “Don’t talk, love .”

A battle began, both parties so lost in themselves that they didn’t notice the lounge door wasn’t closed properly, leaving a slight gap.

A bewitching sight peeped through the door crack, with Lin Yan blushing, tightening her thighs, and quickly closing the door to prevent the spring scene from leaking out.

She returned to the stewardess lounge, where a subordinate glanced towards the lounge and remarked sourly, “Yan, I really don’t know how many girlfriends Mr. Lu has.”

"Stop gossiping about Mr. Lu behind his back. However many there are, it’s none of your business. Just do your job well,” Lin Yan said sternly.

"It’s not our business, but it concerns you. I really feel it for Yan. At least Mr. Lu should regard so things, bringing one after another. Who knows how many there are.”

"He always brings new girlfriends on flights. If this keeps up, Yan will definitely feel uncomfortable more or less.” Thɪs chapter is updated by novęlfire

The two flight attendants echoed each other, and Lin Yan’s shyness gradually disappeared, her gaze growing colder.

In her mind, she had already sentenced them to death; there would likely need to be crew changes on this flight in the future.

After all, they seed to be considerate of her, but what they really thought could only be known to themselves.

She knew Lu Liang had a girlfriend, possibly even a child, and still approached him, even though they weren’t married, revealing such things wouldn’t be glorious either.

It could be ignored when discussed privately, as they had worked together for years, and one was even her apprentice. As long as they didn’t speak to outsiders, discussing it among themselves was fine.

She had ntally prepared for such gossip when she made that choice.

But recently, learning she would be leaving at the end of the year, it seed like one or two were overly eager to step up.

This type of personality in a girl absolutely couldn’t stay beside Lu Liang. Lin Yan made up her mind that even if she were to leave, she would take them with her.

One and a half hours later, the plane landed at Beijing Airport.

Zhang Tian’ai had a rosy complexion, looking even more radiant.

She leisurely put on a disguise to cover her face and waved to Lu Liang: “Mr. Lu, I’ll be waiting for you at ho, I’ve recently learned to make chicken and oyster casserole.”

She had jobs at the end of the year and spring, barely saving up three days of vacation. During this ti, she wanted to increase her winning chances as much as possible.

"We’ll see.”

Lu Liang yawned, suddenly feeling last night’s hangover returning, an indescribable fatigue.

Startled, he quickly took out a thermos and took several long gulps, secretly deciding to exercise more and even consider establishing a celibacy week to nurture his mind and body.

After all, human energy is limited, but the world is full of won. To conquer the infinite with the finite, one needs good health.

Zhang Tian’ai chuckled, bouncing ahead of Lu Liang as she exited from the airport’s VIP passageway.

"Brother, I’m going to get the car first.” Fang Shiyu followed Zhang Tian’ai quickly, leaving the cabin.

In Beijing, Modu, Xiangjiang, and even Tokyo, Lu Liang had cars parked in underground garages in frequent cities to avoid the embarrassnt of having no car upon landing.

Lu Liang nodded slightly, waiting a few minutes until Fang Shiyu ca driving to pick him up, and the group headed towards the Second Ring’s State Security Departnt.

At one o’clock in the afternoon, the vehicle arrived at the State Security Building.

Li Junyi greeted them with a smile, having been waiting outside, and brought Lu Liang to his office.

"Mr. Lu, what matter is so serious that you had to co personally?”

Li Junyi smiled as he brewed tea, a year’s absence making his already sparse temples appear even bolder.

He intended to exchange pleasantries and thank Lu Liang for his efforts in Xiangjiang, which eased their pressure significantly.

But upon seeing Lu Liang’s solemn deanor, Li Junyi gradually restrained his smile, quietly awaiting Lu Liang’s next words.

"Director Li, I’ve learned of so intel, but I can’t confirm its authenticity. Would you like to hear it?”

"Mr. Lu, please go ahead.”
