"President Lin, standing next to Xiaocong, I almost thought you were his sister at first glance."

Lu Liang was all smiles. Having previously sold properties, he often dealt with middle-aged won and knew exactly what they liked.

Moreover, unlike before, he was now the owner of Tianxing Capital, which gave his words a weight far superior to that of the past.

Even a simple complint coming from a real estate agent versus a mogul of capital felt entirely different to the recipient.

Lin Ting couldn't stop smiling and waved her hands dismissively, "Mr. Lu, you're too kind, but honestly, Xiaocong indeed grew up a bit too quickly."

"Mom, didn't you say you had sothing to do? Why aren't we leaving yet?"

Seeing Lu Liang chatting so happily with his mother, Wang Xiaocong was extrely annoyed, and his resentnt deepened. If they kept talking, he feared he might have to start calling Lu Liang 'Uncle Lu.'

At this mont, Tang Caide ca over, giving the mother and son a polite smile, then whispered sothing into Lu Liang's ear.

Lu Liang humd a response and then turned to say with a smile, "President Lin, Xiaocong, I've got a bit of business to attend to, please enjoy your al."

"Mr. Lu, please go ahead with your work," said Lin Ting with a sunny smile, while Little Wang looked impatient, almost writing 'hurry up and go' across his face.

As the two watched Lu Liang leave the restaurant, Lin Ting turned her head to look at ng Changkun, who was still in the restaurant, attending to the guests.

Her smile slowly faded, "Lu Liang is soone of influence now. You should learn more from Old ng and stop putting on airs all the ti."

Lu Liang was indeed proud, and rightly so, considering he had the capital to be arrogant. But then again, each person present had a net worth of several hundred million, if not billion.

Despite Lu Liang's strong stance, it left a slightly bitter taste for so. That's where Old ng played a crucial role.

A real estate tycoon worth several billion, acting like a servile attendant, warmly welcoming everyone, any dissatisfaction would just evaporate.

In contrast, Wang Xiaocong, putting on airs as if he mattered, failed to understand that Lu Liang no longer needed his network. If he didn't make an effort to impress, he risked being eliminated at any mont.

Looking indignant yet swallowing the words he wanted to say as he observed Old ng's busy figure, Wang Xiaocong finally said, "I understand."

Lin Ting smiled contentedly and patted the back of his hand gently, "I'm leaving now, no need to see out."

On the other side, Lu Liang followed Tang Caide upstairs, where Guo Changguang and Yu Shirong awaited in the office.

"Mr. Guo, President Yu, would you like so tea?"

With a slight smile, Lu Liang brewed the tea, and through the conversation, he understood their intentions, offering them two portions each of the subscription shares.

Guo Changguang of Fuxing Group, known as Shanghai's Cash King and China's Buffett, had an extrely powerful network and was worth befriending.

Yu Shirong, who subscribed to three shares in the previous round of the private equity and held a great deal of goodwill towards Lu Liang, also deserved a quid pro quo.

Seeing Lu Liang's generous gesture, both n smiled, and the subsequent conversation beca particularly harmonious.

Soon, word of Tianxing's dividend spread, and although no insider revealed it, rumors swirled about the trendous amount.

Many netizens suggested strict investigations to ensure taxes were paid according to regulations, and the legitimacy of the capital origin.

To these comnts, Lu Liang turned a deaf ear. There were plenty of companies that evaded taxes, but rarely did financial companies.

Especially for them, purely moving capital around, primarily within the international financial markets and without tangible investnts, auditing was simple—just pull up the account statents to make everything crystal clear.

Just like Wu Junle and Li Jianlin, who had faced a substantial fine of 720 million and did not utter a word of complaint, they had no choice but to pay up to settle the matter honestly.

The state had no trouble cracking down on financial firms; a simple asset freeze would make it impossible for them to flee, so no one dared to cross the line.

Online speculation was rife, with guesses on how much was distributed.

So said one hundred million dollars, others two hundred million dollars—there were all sorts of figures being thrown around.

But no one confird the amount, including Little Wang, who loved to show off but now played dead, and gradually, the speculation died down.

Eventually, it was overshadowed by celebrity scandals in the entertainnt world.

In recent days, Lu Liang had been considering the allocation of Tianxing's second round of private equity shares, trying to ensure an even spread.

He could only personally subscribe to five shares and no more, as subscribing to six would stretch the funds too thin, leaving 45 shares.

State-owned Xiao Xin secured ten shares plus a 20% stake, leaving 35 shares. Old Guo and Old Yu took two each, leaving 31 shares.

For the three prominent families from Xiangjiang—Zheng, Li, and Guo—Lu Liang planned to offer ten shares for them to allocate amongst themselves, bringing the count down to 21 shares.

Although Hong Kong Capital had declined in recent years, its international strength remained formidable. Maintaining good relations with them was essential.

Five shares each for Old ng and Little Wang—they could subscribe or gift them; it was up to them, leaving 11 shares.

Zhu Hu from Golden Sand River had a decent relationship with Lu Liang, so he would be given three shares; Redwood's Shen Peng was okay for two shares, and Lei Jun also for two.

In the blink of an eye, only four of the fifty shares remained, and Lu Liang wasn't in a rush to choose. He held onto them, just in case they were needed later.

Perhaps there would be a big fish; after all, there were plenty of prospects, such as DiDi's Liu Qing, tycoons' mistress Zhuang Xiaoting—picking at random would easily make up the fifty shares.

Once the planning was done, Lu Liang called over Old ng and Little Wang to inform them of the distribution and to get the word out.

Tianxing Private Equity's second phase aid to raise one billion dollars and was set to launch on the 27th of this month.

As soon as the news broke, the insiders received their invitations, while those who didn't only had themselves to rely on to find a subscription.

Lu Liang left the follow-up in the hands of Old ng and Little Wang, telling them to contact him if they couldn't handle it, and then he took Su Wanyu up north to see the snow.

They also took the opportunity to experience the northeastern bathhouse culture. It was sowhat embarrassing, being picked up directly, scrubbed all over from left to right.

Born and raised without ever having been scrubbed in his thirty years, Lu Liang left behind a thick ring of dirt, but he didn't care with his thick skin; Su Wanyu, however, completely shut down.

"How is it? Not having fun coming out with ?"

Lu Liang teased and pinched Su Wanyu's arm. Her skin was soft, tender, and smooth, just like a freshly peeled egg.

Her figure was incredibly statuesque—tall at 171cm, with dark hemp clothes, short and sleeveless, she could have been mistaken for a runway model.

"Happy, but my head's a little fuzzy right now," Su Wanyu answered dazedly, her earlobes red as a cooked crab.

While being scrubbed, the attendant chatted her up with such crude topics she wished she could just burrow into the ground.

With a playful smile, Lu Liang joked, "We booked private rooms, which is already decent enough. Downstairs in the hall, it's all just walking about in the nude."

"That's a bit terrifying."

Su Wanyu stared blankly, uneasy with the scene of such candid interaction, even among girls.

Lu Liang held her as though she were a human-shaped hot-water bottle, soft and squishy: "Let's rest a bit before we eat. Afternoon we'll go skiing. I'll be busy soon and may not be able to accompany you."

Su Wanyu was considerate and gentle, making a sound of acknowledgent, her upper body curling up in Lu Liang's embrace as she whispered, "I'll take good care of myself."

Her long legs had nowhere to settle, her toes playfully wiggling. Fresh from the bath, her whole body emanated a powdery sweetness.

Suddenly Lu Liang grabbed her foot, triggering a switch in Su Wanyu as she twisted her hips and cried out, "Don't touch, tickles~"

"Tickles? Then let scratch it for you."

Lu Liang smiled mischievously; such words could be quite provocative to a man and sparked a rebellious spirit within him.

They played and laughed together, loosening their already loose bathrobes, and a little white bunny made its fleeting appearance.

Gasping for breath with moisture-filled eyes, Su Wanyu's soft skin turned progressively redder and started to feel warm.

She suddenly realized this couldn't go on; she had to conserve her energy for the skiing she had been longing for in the afternoon.

"I'm going to eat now. I still want to go skiing."

With a quick spin of her eyes, Su Wanyu made her escape, bending over to clutch her chest as she ran off, leaving a trail of giggles behind.

Watching her soft pink retreating back, Lu Liang shook his head with amusent: "She's getting more crafty by the day."

He looked down with a resigned expression, then laid back on the couch and picked up his phone, seeing a ssage from Little Wang.

"This one's a big fish, call back ASAP."

Surprised, Lu Liang called back: "What's going on?"

"Powerful, from Beijing."

Little Wang's mother even strongly recomnded that if Lu Liang still had shares available, he should make a good connection—it would be beneficial and harmless.

The voice hinted at the Hong Clan. Lu Liang pondered for a while before asking, "I've still got four shares left; can you handle it?"

"We don't need that many, at most two. They don't have that much money," Wang Xiaocong quipped.

"Why don't you share it with them yourself?" Lu Liang wondered.

"Didn't you notice? I'm looking out for you."

Little Wang sounded disgruntled; his own five shares had long been allocated and couldn't be divided any further.

Lu Liang laughed coldly, seeing right through it: "Hang up."

"Hey, when are you coming back?"

"In a few days."

"And the other two shares?"

"We'll see."
