Upon hearing this, several individuals were montarily stunned. Gong Sheng, perplexed, asked, "Pingyuan, what's going on?"
He was completely in the dark, knowing nothing at all. Gong Pingyuan then recounted the whole story.
When Gong Sheng heard that Zhouzhou could find his missing daughter, his eyes imdiately widened, and his hands trembled with excitent as he exclaid, "Really?"
"Yes, indeed," Zhouzhou nodded her little head in response. She looked at the compass, pondered for a mont, then looked up at Gong Sheng and said, "Grandpa, could you tell your and your daughter's birthdates?"
Gong Sheng was puzzled, unsure of what she intended to do. Grandpa Qin interjected, "Just tell Zhouzhou, she's quite capable."
He knew Qin well and knew he never spoke nonsense. So, despite his continued surprise, Gong Sheng complied and provided his daughter's birthdate.
Even though their daughter had been missing for twenty years, they had never forgotten her birthday.
Every year on her birthday, they still bought her a cake, though in the end, only they ate it.
As her birthday approached again, they wondered if they would be able to celebrate with her this year. And their dear spouse...
Watching his wife bravely holding on, he felt his heart fill with sorrow. Zhouzhou imdiately got to work once she received the birthdates.
She sat down and began shaking a copper coin, deftly manipulating her chubby fingers. After a minute, Zhouzhou spoke up, "Found it!"
Gong Sheng and Gong Pingyuan imdiately looked over with anticipation. Zhouzhou provided coordinates.
Father and son were puzzled, but Qin Lie quickly took out a map and, after comparing it with her coordinates, said, "It's Hengsheng Corporation."
Wasn't that their company? The two were stunned, struggling to comprehend. After a mont, Gong Pingyuan exclaid in disbelief, "Could it be that our sister works at our company?"
Zhouzhou glanced at the map and nodded, "It's very likely." This could explain why the divination showed it was close to them.
Gong Sheng's hands couldn't help but tremble, and he took a deep breath, his eyes suddenly gleaming. Regardless, he decided to give it a try.
Just like every ti they heard news of their daughter, they were willing to go to great lengths, even if it ant traveling far and wide.
Moreover, this ti she was so close to them. What if they really found her?
"Quick, let's go find her!" Gong Sheng said excitedly, squeezing Gong Pingyuan's wrist.
"Yes!" Gong Pingyuan imdiately nodded, his hand shaking as he dialed the phone. After composing himself, his mood finally settled sowhat.
He called his assistant to bring him a list of company personnel. Seeing this, Zhouzhou blinked. How slow.
She swiftly pulled out her little head, and her chubby fingers tapped away on the keyboard, once again infiltrating Hengsheng's intranet.
In less than two minutes, a list appeared on Zhouzhou's computer screen, and she couldn't help but smirk proudly. She was indeed quite remarkable!
Ye Lingfeng's chin lifted proudly. This was under his command! Zhouzhou went directly to their database, which included photos of the employees, making it convenient for her to read their faces.
She flipped through them one by one. anwhile, it took Gong Pingyuan ten minutes to receive the file from his assistant.
As soon as he opened it, he heard Zhouzhou say, "Found her." She looked at the girl in the photo and said with certainty, "She must be the one we're looking for."
Gong Sheng and Gong Pingyuan were stunned and imdiately leaned in. At that mont, their hearts were pounding wildly.
It was her, no doubt about it! She looked just like them. Looking at her position, she was a new intern at the company.
Gong Sheng and Gong Pingyuan both had exclusive elevators, usually only interacting with company executives, so they had never t her.
However, ... Gong Pingyuan frowned as he looked at the information in her profile. "Her age doesn't match."
Gong Panpan disappeared when she was around five years old, and now twenty years have passed, so she should be twenty-five this year.
But the profile listed her as twenty-seven years old, and her birthdate didn't match. Zhouzhou said, "Uncle, didn't you say she went missing when she was only five? She definitely wouldn't rember these things herself."
So, it was quite obvious who provided her age and birthday. Looking at her ho address, it was a small village in the southwest that they had never heard of.
Realizing this, Gong Sheng and Gong Pingyuan's expressions suddenly darkened. "Hurry up and bring her back," Gong Sheng said tearfully.
Hengsheng was still in the south, and they hadn't had ti to move the company yet, so for now, Gong Panpan was still there.
Upon hearing this, Gong Pingyuan didn't dare delay and imdiately nodded. "I'll arrange for a plane to take you there," Qin Lie said. There were no flights at this late hour, and it would take over ten hours to drive there, too late for that.
"Thank you," Gong Pingyuan said gratefully, looking at him. Qin Lie nodded slightly, saying nothing, and imdiately arranged for him to go to the airport.
Zhouzhou couldn't help but yawn. Seeing that her work was done, she hugged Qin Lie's leg, rested her head against it, and fell asleep standing up.
Grandma Qin felt sorry for her and quickly said, "Why don't you take Zhouzhou back first?"
"I can't leave," Zhouzhou murmured drowsily, opening her eyes slightly, "this Grandma won't be able to wait."
Hearing this, everyone's hearts clenched. But Zhouzhou fell asleep again, emitting a soft snore.
Gong Sheng wiped away tears from the corners of his eyes and said, "We've long been ntally prepared, just hoping she can see her daughter again."
His wife had been terminally ill for a long ti now, and her persistence had kept her going until now. Undergoing chemotherapy and surgery every day, her life was very painful.
Their only wish was for her to pass away peacefully. Upon hearing this, Grandma Qin sighed. Life, death, and illness were sotis beyond their control.
After calming down a bit, Gong Sheng saw Zhouzhou lying on Qin Lie's shoulder, looking exhausted, and quickly said, "There's a bed over here. Let the little girl sleep on it."
The matter was not yet resolved, and Zhouzhou couldn't leave now. Qin Lie didn't say much, just nodded and put Zhouzhou down on the bed.
Imdiately after, Gong Sheng arranged for several beds to be set up for the rest of the Qin family. However, none of them could sleep now, sitting on chairs, wide awake until dawn.
When Qin Lie brought breakfast, Zhouzhou woke up with a start, sat up in one swift motion, and followed her nose towards the scent.
Grandma Qin looked at her foolish granddaughter with a mix of laughter and tears and pinched her cheek.
Zhouzhou looked up at her with a puzzled expression, looking innocent and not crying or making a fuss.
After Grandma Qin finished pinching her, Zhouzhou imdiately went to grab the steaming hot buns nearby.
Just as she was about to reach out, her chubby little hand was stopped by a big hand, and then her small body was lifted up.
"Go wash your hands first," ca the command. All right. Zhouzhou quickly washed her hands and sat at the table, happily munching away with satisfaction on her face. Gong Sheng, seeing this scene, felt his heart soften.
He couldn't help but rember his daughter when she was young, and how he used to carry her to wash her hands like this.
Thinking of this, a hint of longing flashed in his eyes. Muttering to himself, "I wonder when Panpan will co back."
Zhouzhou heard this, her ears twitched, her head tilted, and she smiled and said, "She's already here."
