Upon seeing the little girl, Qin Lie was sowhat taken aback. While he hoped that Ji'an would grow up peacefully, he didn't want her to live in fear and hesitation, afraid to pursue anything.

After a mont of contemplation, Qin Lie spoke, "Zhouzhou, in the future, you can consult with or the Ancestral Master before taking any action to earn money. This way, you can avoid getting into trouble."

"Right!" Zhouzhou's eyes lit up. "Got it!"

This way, she could earn money without fearing any mishaps. Thinking about it, she felt joyful again.

With a cheerful wave to Grandpa and Grandma Qin, she announced, "I'm off to school!"

"Go ahead, dear." Seeing their granddaughter regain her usual vitality, Grandpa and Grandma Qin both breathed a sigh of relief.

While their grandsons' antics often left them feeling exasperated, they only wished for their granddaughter to be happy every day.

Zhouzhou had been absent yesterday, and as soon as she arrived at school, many children gathered around her. Even so older students from the senior class ca over, offering her candies.

Because she had defeated the chubby bully who liked to pick on others, she had beco a legend in the kindergarten.

Zhouzhou didn't think much of it, simply stuffing the treats into her bag with a smile. "Don't worry," she assured them, patting her chest, "I'll protect you all. If anyone dares to bully you, just let know!"

"Yes, Master Zhou!" They all chid in unison.

Hearing their voices, the parents who hadn't left yet turned to look. Seeing a group of kids surrounding a smaller child, calling her "Master Zhou," with the child happily sucking on a lollipop and sporting a few silly antennas on her head, they couldn't help but smile. Kids really knew how to have fun.

Shaking their heads, they didn't think much of it and hurried off to work.

Even the bodyguard managed to snag a lollipop from Zhouzhou's hand, quickly sneaking it into his mouth and crunching it into pieces, disposing of the stick to conceal his secret love for sweets from his imposing figure.

He looked at Zhouzhou curiously. "Master Zhou, why didn't you co to school yesterday?"

Zhouzhou recounted her activities from yesterday, ntioning her visit to heal soone and her discovery of a treasure in the antique street. The bodyguard couldn't help but give her a thumb up.

This kid's life seed more fulfilling than his own. His job was to follow the young master around, but since the young master could handle his als by himself now, there was one less task for him to do. It was boring. If only there was sothing for him to do.

Little did he know, sotis wishes do co true.

The children were in class, but the teacher suddenly approached Huo Ji'an and said, "Ji'an, co with , your parent is here."

Parent? Huo Ji'an's ears perked up, a flicker of excitent flashing in his eyes.

Dad is here?

He stood up abruptly, then rembered sothing, his expression turning cold as he suppressed his excitent and sat back down. "I don't want to see him."

It took him this long to rember? Too late!

However, despite his words, the longing in his eyes betrayed him.

The bodyguard thought it was Huo Mingxuan who had arrived, wondering why he was back early from his business trip that was supposed to last a month.

Probably finished his task ahead of schedule.

Seeing Huo Ji'an's feigned indifference, the bodyguard leaned over and said, "Young Master, considering Mr. Huo ca to see you as soon as he returned, you should et him, giving him so face and saving him the hassle of coming here for nothing."

Hearing this, Zhouzhou nodded in agreent. "Exactly, Dad can afford to waste ti, but money is hard to co by. It's not easy to earn money."

Not only is it hard to earn, sotis you even have to endure lightning strikes. It's really not easy.

At these words, Huo Ji'an reluctantly nodded. "Fine, I'll give him five minutes."

Seeing his stubbornness, the bodyguard suppressed a smile and added, "Yes, Young Master, very magnanimous of you."

He thought so too.

"Chubby girl, are you coming with ?" Huo Ji'an asked.

Without looking up, Zhouzhou shook her head. She was busy drawing with colored pens on paper. It was art class, and the the was a family portrait. She wanted to depict their family of four: herself, Dad, Mom, and she reluctantly added Sharp Tongue Uncle.

Huo Ji'an glanced at her distorted lines, a look of confusion flashing in his eyes. Did there anyone from the Qin Family look like this?

Unable to figure it out, he shook his head. "Then I'll go alone."

"Sure, go ahead," Zhouzhou waved.

Huo Ji'an headed out. Initially able to contain himself, he beca increasingly restless as he approached the door.

When he saw the elegantly dressed woman outside, he suddenly braked, his small body jerking to a halt, the blood draining from his face, leaving it pale as he stared at her.

It's her...

The bodyguard also recognized the newcor and his face changed instantly. He glanced at Huo Ji'an, realizing the situation was dire.

His face darkened, and he quickly scooped up Huo Ji'an and rushed back to the classroom.

Zhouzhou, satisfied with her drawing, planned to show it to her parents when she suddenly saw Huo Ji'an and the bodyguard rushing back. Surprised, she asked, "Didn't you guys go out?"

Glancing at Huo Ji'an, who looked dazed and was trembling, she grew concerned, furrowing her brows and quickly taking his pulse.

His pulse was erratic. What had scared him like this?

The bodyguard didn't have ti to explain, quickly pulling out his phone to make a call before turning to Zhouzhou, earnestly saying, "Master Zhou, could you please take care of the Young Master for ?"

With that, he hurriedly left.

Zhouzhou produced a crimson calming pill and gave it to Huo Ji'an. Within monts, his complexion improved slightly.

However, he suddenly scread, darted under the table, clutching his head and muttering incomprehensibly, cold sweat appearing on his forehead. His cry startled everyone, and they all looked over at once.

Zhouzhou was also taken aback. Had the dicine failed? She crouched down, intending to pull him out, but every ti she moved him, he shook even harder, making her afraid to touch him. Eventually, she settled on the ground, crossing her chubby legs and sitting down.

As he continued to mutter, she blinked and leaned closer to hear what he was saying. She could make out fragnts like "I'm so hungry" and "I don't want to eat."

Zhouzhou was instantly perplexed. Did he want to eat or not? She thought about it for a long ti but couldn't figure it out.

She ended up feeling hungry herself and took out the snacks Grandma Qin had prepared for her and started eating.

anwhile, at the kindergarten gate, Luo Tingting saw Huo Ji'an running away and imdiately frowned. She knew he was an ungrateful beast.

When she had been thrown out with nothing, he hadn't said a single good word for her. There wasn't a single person in the Huo family with a conscience!

Seeing the bodyguard approaching, she lifted her chin, ready to confront him. However, a chilling voice suddenly ca from behind her.

"Tsk, you never learn. I said it before: every ti I see you, I'll hit you."

Luo Tingting froze, turning to look at the man. She forced herself to say, "You wouldn't dare. I am Mrs. Huo..."

Before she could finish, she was sent flying, everything around her rapidly fading from her view. She stared in disbelief at the handso man, her eyes widening suddenly, shaking when she t his gaze.
