"What's going on? Why is there even a confidentiality agreent involved?"

Grandma Qin asked, bewildered, as she glanced at the docunt in her hands. The lines she read caused her to stare in shock, eyes widening—how could this be?

Leaking it would be charged with treason... this was very serious!

Grandpa Qin's breath hitched slightly. He had an inkling, but even he hadn't anticipated that Zhouzhou was involved in such high-stakes matters. He rembered how Qin Xu had been selected to join the criminal police, and during his undercover operations, they had also signed similar docunts.

Grandma Qin sat up sharply, her face turning pale. "Zhouzhou, what have you done?"

Zhouzhou pursed her lips, turned around, and clicked a few tis on the computer. In an instant, several news reports appeared on the projection screen. Each one was a major event that had shaken the world in recent years.

For example, the assassination of a notorious terrorist leader.

The complete takedown of a powerful drug cartel.

The successful rescue of kidnapped professors and experts from foreign forces.

...

But why was Zhouzhou showing them this? What was she trying to say?

Grandpa Qin had already guessed, but even he hadn't expected Zhouzhou to be involved in such major events.

Grandma Qin wasn't foolish either. Looking at the situation, she twitched the corners of her mouth and said, "Zhouzhou, don't tell you were the one who did all this."

The little girl, with her neatly tied ponytail, fair and delicate features, and big, round eyes, looked sweet and innocent—a stark contrast to the ruthless criminals displayed behind her.

Hearing this, she gave a shy smile, nodded, and said, "Grandma, you're so sharp. It was ."

As she spoke, she even gave her grandmother a thumbs-up, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

Grandma Qin's lips twitched. With a loud thud, she collapsed into a chair.

"Are you okay?" Grandpa Qin asked, looking at her with concern.

Grandma Qin clutched her chest. "Give...give a mont."

She looked at the images behind Zhouzhou, then back at the girl herself, unable to believe this was real.

"You—you're joking, right?" she asked hesitantly, a hint of hopeful doubt in her eyes.

It had to be a joke. How could this be possible?!

Zhouzhou tilted her head and looked at her. "Why would I joke about this? Grandma, do you not believe I'm that capable?"

She furrowed her brows slightly, looking a little hurt.

Normally, at a ti like this, Grandma Qin would have already pulled her into her arms, calling her "my little sweetheart" and showering her with affection.

But right now, soone, please explain to her—why was her little sweetheart out there digging out people's hearts?!

She gasped for breath, struggling to process everything.

Seeing her reaction, Zhouzhou began to feel worried. Grandma really looked scared.

Suddenly, Grandma Qin's gaze landed on one of the photos, realizing that many of these events had happened quite so ti ago.

She hurriedly asked, "How old were you when you started doing this?"

Zhouzhou thought for a mont, then raised her hand and showed a number. "Seven."

Though, truthfully, she had joined the Fourth Bureau when she was five.

At first, she was just helping Ye Lingfeng and the others. It wasn't until she was seven that she started taking on missions by herself.

But she didn't dare say that out loud.

Even with her cautious answer, Grandma Qin was so shocked that she almost choked on air. "Seven?!"

Her voice cracked from sheer disbelief.

At such a young age, she had already been dealing with criminals like these?!

How could she be so fearless? Wasn't she afraid sothing would happen to her?!

Thinking of this, Grandma Qin's eyes turned red, and tears started falling uncontrollably.

This ti, they were real—completely unfeigned.

Seeing her reaction, Qin Lie could tell exactly what she was thinking and said helplessly, "Mom, don't be like this. Isn't Zhouzhou perfectly fine?"

Hearing that, Grandma Qin shot him a glare. "You shut up! n are all heartless, none of you know how to cherish Zhouzhou!"

"Zhouzhou, don't worry. Once we get divorced, Grandma will take you away. Grandma will take care of you!"

"Wait—why are you still insisting getting a divorce?" Grandpa Qin panicked. Why was he still involved?

Grandma Qin glared at him too. "And you! You must've known all along and kept it from , didn't you? You promised when we got married that you'd tell everything—hah, I should've known! A man's mouth is full of lies! I should've realized this the mont you secretly stashed away money!"

Hearing that, Zhouzhou turned to Grandpa Qin, eyes wide with surprise.

Whoa, Grandpa actually hid money too?

So all n really have this habit!

Being called out in front of everyone, Grandpa Qin's old face turned red. Feeling awkward, he shot his wife a pleading look—please, leave him so dignity!

With a sigh, he explained, "I really didn't know. If I had, why would Zhouzhou have given a confidentiality agreent to sign?"

He turned to Zhouzhou. "Zhouzhou, tell us clearly—what exactly do you do?"

At the ntion of this, Grandma Qin imdiately turned her attention back as well. "Yes, what do you do? Are you a police officer like your second uncle?"

She made a guess.

She knew her little granddaughter had been skilled in martial arts since she was young. Back when Qin Xu's police chief used to visit, he had even tried to recruit Zhouzhou.

If she had beco a police officer, it would make sense why she was involved in such things.

It was worrying, but since they already had one police officer in the family, it wasn't entirely unacceptable.

However, Zhouzhou shook her head. "No."

That left Grandma Qin stunned. "Then what exactly do you do?"

Zhouzhou pulled out another docunt. It contained a brief introduction to the Fourth Bureau.

The docunt had a prominent TOP SECRET watermark across it.

Grandpa Qin's pupils shrank as he read it.

So it was like this...

He had guessed so things, but he never imagined it would be this!

The Fourth Bureau.

An organization they had never heard of.

And yet, the tasks they handled, the missions they undertook, were far more dangerous than Qin Xu's work as a criminal investigator.

In other words, ordinary criminals weren't even on their radar.

They only dealt with cases that had at least international-level significance.

They weren't under any specific departnt's jurisdiction—only the highest authorities had control over them.

The division was split into six groups: Dragon, Tiger, Lion, Wolf, Spirit, and Wealthy Groups.

Grandpa Qin's gaze landed on the "Wealthy Group" and a suspicion ford in his mind.

Sure enough, Zhouzhou said, "I'm the leader of the Wealthy Group in Fourth Bureau."

Grandma Qin sucked in a sharp breath.

And as if that weren't shocking enough, Zhouzhou added, "Dad is the leader of the Dragon Group."

Ye Lingfeng!

In that mont, Grandpa and Grandma Qin finally understood.

No wonder.

No wonder Ye Lingfeng was always vanishing mysteriously, never seeming to have a normal job, yet constantly busy.

No wonder he and Zhouzhou would disappear together so often.

No wonder Zhouzhou had joined the Fourth Bureau.

It had to be because of Ye Lingfeng!

Grandma Qin turned sharply to Qin Lie. "You've known all along?"

Qin Lie nodded. "I'm Zhouzhou's legal guardian. When she joined, I was the one who signed her na."

Good. Just great!

"You just watched as Zhouzhou, at such a young age, went off to do sothing this dangerous?"

She understood that their granddaughter was extraordinary and had big ambitions. It wasn't sothing they could stop.

But what she couldn't accept was that Zhouzhou had started doing this at such a young age!

She couldn't take it out on Zhouzhou, so she dumped all her frustration onto Qin Lie.

Qin Lie lowered his gaze and said, "What could I do? Zhouzhou cares more about Ye Lingfeng."

Grandma Qin: "..."

Useless man!
