Before Ryzel could utter another word, rvin ca inside the house.
Ryzel once saw a photo of rvin. The photo was taken from a certain military ceremony. The rvin he saw in the photo was wearing a military uniform while seriously listening to whatever was said in that event.
rvin’s looks were still the sa as what he saw years ago. He was still a handso man wearing glasses and with a long golden hair.
His looks were exactly like the one in the photo, but he saw years ago but the temperant was completely different.
The one on the photo was of a man who was maintaining his decorum however the man who suddenly entered doesn’t have a bit of seriousness as shown in the photo.
"Hello Lewis, where is your partner," rvin asked loudly as soon as he passed through the door.
Ryzel was sitting beside Layton Lewis which is why he is covered and can’t be seen imdiately by the people who just entered the house.
Layton Lewis didn’t reply and just waited for rvin to arrive at the living room.
"Oh, so your partner is sitting beside you," rvin said as he ca closer to the living room and saw him beside Layton Lewis.
"Hello, I am Ryzel. It is nice to et you," Ryzel said politely.
Ryzel didn’t wait for Layton Lewis’ introduction but took the initiative to introduce himself to Layton Lewis’ friend.
"Hello, I am rvin, a friend of Lewis and his deputy. It’s nice to finally et you, the guide who made Lewis willing to marry soone," rvin introduced himself and said sothing else Ryzel can’t fully understand.
"rvin, don’t start talking nonsense," Layton Lewis warned while looking sharply at rvin.
"Okay, I understand I won’t say anything," rvin said with a raised hand indicating his surrender.
Ryzel just looked at Layton Lewis and rvin with a puzzled look. He doesn’t understand what they are talking about, so he just listens at the side.
"But it is indeed true that I have been wanting to et you for a long ti ago, but I just hadn’t had any chance because of being too busy. Whenever I plan to see you, I always have a lot of things to suddenly do. So, I could only visit you today.
Hello Ryzel, you are indeed as beautiful as they said. Your pictures don’t even capture fifty percent of your beauty," rvin praised sincerely.
"Thank you for the praise," Ryzel said and smiled amused at how open rvin is. Openly praising his beauty in front of his partner Layton Lewis.
It seed that he wasn’t afraid of what Layton Lewis might do to him or he was already accustod in provoking Layton Lewis.
All of the sentinels don’t want their partner to be openly admired. Actually, the sentinels didn’t want their guides to be admired by others and just wanted their guides to stay at ho so that they would only be the one to see it.
Unfortunately, the law won’t allow such things to happen. That’s why the sentinels are more tolerant and just didn’t allow other people to ogle at their partners while they are present.
As soon as sentinels saw soone ogling their guides there would definitely be a fight afterwards. They are already tolerant enough so if other still don’t follow the rules then, they would be rciless.
So, rvin, who was capable of teasing him under Layton Lewis’ watch was really amazing. As soon as he arrived, he already started causing trouble.
As soon as he smiled rvin was rooted at his place. Ryzel observed how rvin reacted.
He saw rvin blinking his eyes many tis but was still unable to co out of his trance. Layton Lewis beside him frowned and clapped his hand.
At the sound of Layton Lewis’ clap rvin ca out of his trance.
"I’ve seen a lot of people, but your beautiful smile can’t be compared to others. I’ve been trained for so long and you can still put in a trance. I’m sure if we used your smile as a weapon, it can be very effective." rvin said in a joking tone.
"Thank you but using it as a weapon is still an exaggeration," Ryzel replied. He was already used to the way people react when they see him smiling so he was already accustod to it. But it was still funny no matter how much he repeatedly saw similar scenes.
"I’m serious. I’ve been trained since I was young, not to brag but I’m also considered as one of the strongest sentinels in our troop, but I was still affected and put in a trance.
So, I think your smile can be a weapon, you can use it to coax others to put down their weapons. As long as you smile, I’m sure they would stop fighting.
Do you want to change your career path? You can be the face of the army?
As long as you are there, I’m sure a lot of people would be more willing to enlist in the army," rvin said seriously.
"No thanks, I am satisfied with my future potions. I don’t want to change my career path to beco the face of your army."
Ryzel knew he was beautiful, and his charms would explode once he smiled but he doesn’t want to work as a model and as a propaganda for the army. He still wanted to do his pharmaceutical research in peace. Once he worked as the face of the Legion, he would surely be troubled by it.
His interest has always been chas and potions. He doesn’t have any interest in being a model so even if he has an extrely suitable face for it he doesn’t want to do it.
"What if-"
Before rvin could continue saying sothing the House manager interrupted him.
"Master, soone is knocking on the door. He said his na is Lyre," the robot announced monotonously.
"Let him in," Layton Lewis said.
"I’ll go and welco Lyre in," Ryzel said and stood up to welco Lyre.
He knew that even though Lyre was very outgoing he would still act a little bit polite when entering soone else’s ho for the first ti that’s why he went with the robot to pick up Lyre.
As soon as the robot opened the door Ryzel saw Lyre outside the door holding a lot of things. He can’t even carry them properly because of their sizes.
"Hello Ry, help hold so of these," Lyre said while handing so bags to Ryzel.
"Lyre, what are these? Why do you have a lot of bags with you?" Ryzel asked while accepting so of the bags Lyre was holding.
"Let’s go inside your house first," Lyre said without answering Ryzel’s question.
Ryzel nodded and led Lyre to the living room.
"General Layton, Sir rvin, this is Lyre, my best friend."
As soon as they arrived in the living room, he introduced Lyre to the two sentinels sitting across each other. Even though they already t last night Ryzel still formally introduced Lyre to Layton Lewis.
"Hello General Lewis and Vice General rvin. It’s nice to et you!" Lyre said with a very big smile.
"Hello, nice to see you again. You don’t need to be polite," Layton Lewis said.
"Yes, no need to be polite. I am friends with your brother Luke so no need to pay too much attention. You can just act like you normally do," rvin said.
"Then I won’t be polite. Once again thank you for your generosity," Lyre said.
"So, what are those bags you brought with you?" Ryzel asked.
"Oh, I almost forgot. These are your birthday and wedding presents. As soon as my parents knew that you were successfully married yesterday. They prepared a lot of gifts for you and for General Layton Lewis."
It’s been a while since he t Lyre’s family. He knew that they were waiting for his marriage.
After knowing that he was looking for high level sentinels, they also helped him contact so high-level sentinels they knew. They even contacted most of the people they knew to recomnd other high-level sentinels for Ryzel.
Unfortunately, even with their help, Ryzel still haven’t found a match at that ti. Knowing that he might be deported to one of the Fringe Stars, they prepared a lot of things for him, and they didn’t even stop Lyre from thinking of letting him escape. Even if they knew that they could be implicated so Ryzel was really thankful to them.
They also knew that Ryzel have a tendency to be workaholic so they were all waiting for him to get married so that he would have soone to care for him when he got older. At least with a sentinel by his side they were sure that the sentinel would take care of Ryzel especially concerning his health.
