After 3 days they finally boarded the spaceship again going to the frontlines.
After boarding the ship Ryzel could see a lot of young faces being guided by others. They should all be students that would be interning for the next 6 months.
As soon as they arrived at Layton Lewis office, he imdiately saw Lyre leaning on rvin while sitting on the sofa.
"Ry! You’re finally here!" Lyre greeted them as soon as they entered.
"Good morning," Ryzel greeted them both.
"You ca very early?" Ryzel asked while sitting on the sofa in front of them.
"Yes, we ca early because Lewis doesn’t want to take care about the matters of the interns any longer," rvin said in a complaining tone.
"Be grateful that I even approve your three-day leave. It’s your job to take care of the matters about the interns to begin with" Layton Lewis said while seating besides Ryzel.
"I know," rvin said in a resigned voice.
"Anyway, what will the interns do in the ninth army?" Ryzel asked as he doesn’t really know what interns are supposed to be doing.
He only knew that for guides who were in the pharmaceutical departnt they needed to submit potions according to their quota.
"For the guides in the pharmaceutical departnt they needed to submit potions according to their quota depending on their levels.
For the others who majored in other things that weren’t that useful in the army they needed to do their original responsibility which is guiding the sentinels.
The number of tis they needed to guide the sentinels would of course also depend on their own levels.
As for the sentinels and normal people, they would follow the other soldiers in performing easier tasks while they continue to train," Layton Lewis explained.
"Then, my task is to make so potions. How much should I be making?" Lyre asked about his quota.
"We still need to test your ntal power level to have a more accurate reading in your level before determining your quota.
All the other guide and sentinel interns would be taking the ntal power tests by the military before your jobs and quotas would be given," rvin answered.
"When will we have to take the test?"
"The tests will start today," rvin said.
"What ti will I take the tests?"
"You’re in batch 7, So according to the ti you should be able to take the test before lunch," rvin answered.
"I see, that’s great! So, before lunch I could stay with Ry! Right?"
"Yes, you can as long as Ryzel is fine with it. I will take you to test your ntal power level later on," rvin said dotingly while ruffling Lyre’s hair.
"Yes, you can stay with ," Ryzel said agreeing to Lyre’s requests. He was only making so potions so even if Lyre was there, he could still do it while chatting with him.
"So, the interns are also going to participate in fighting the Zergs?" Ryzel also asked knowing that Lyre was done with his questions.
"Yes, they would also participate. However, they would only participate in small scale battles.
They also needed to train for a longer ti before they could participate. Most of them could only participate in the battle in the last month of their stay.
If they couldn’t pass the assessnt they wouldn’t be allowed to participate in any battle.
Of course, the people who could participate in the battle sooner would have a higher rating compared to those that would only participate later on," Layton Lewis explained.
"What about others who aren’t eligible to participate until the end?" Ryzel asked again.
"Then, they would only be rated according to what they have done in the army for the duration of their stay."
"I see," Ryzel said while nodding.
"By the way, who will I be guiding today?" Ryzel asked.
In their stay in the capital, he hasn’t guided any sentinels at that ti as it was considered his vacation. Now that they were back in the spaceship, he should also continue guiding the sentinels in the ninth army.
"You will be guiding a sentinel under Lieutenant General Arnold today.
The sentinels under Lieutenant General Arnold would be the last batch of sentinels you would be guiding for the ti being.
After this month you would start guiding other sentinels from different armies. Are you okay with that?" Layton Lewis said.
"Yes, it’s okay," Ryzel replied.
There wouldn’t really be a difference whether he guided the sentinels in the ninth army or sentinels from other armies as he would still be guiding them. The only difference he could think of is their trust level.
As Layton Lewis partner it was easier to guide the ninth army sentinels because they had a higher trust level on him.
For the sentinels in the other armies, it should be more difficult for him to guide them because of their wariness.
But that difference wouldn’t really stump him as his level was high enough so for him there really isn’t that much of a difference as he would still continue performing his responsibility.
"So, are they coming to the ninth army?" Ryzel asked again.
"Yes, they would be coming to the ninth army by schedule. All the sentinels scheduled for the month will be staying in the ninth army.
They would then temporarily assign to the ninth army before they could go back at the end of the month before the next batch would co," Layton Lewis explained.
"Then, whose army sentinels would be coming next month?"
Ryzel knew that Layton Lewis left the arrangent for all the other armies to decide the order, so he was curious about whose army won the first quotas.
"They decide that for the first three months they would send the sentinels that urgently needed your guidance."
"I see then I would need to exert so effort for the next three months."
If they sent those that urgently needed guidance, then that ans most or all the sentinels he would be guiding would likely be those with 2S level ntal power with serious problems.
Those sentinels with 2S ntal power were all people who had been fighting for a long ti without getting proper guidance so he could expect that their ntal sea would be in dangerous states even if their condition wouldn’t be as bad as the 2S sentinels in the ninth army.
After talking with Layton Lewis and rvin for a while Ryzel and Lyre went to his laboratory while rvin and Layton Lewis were dealing with military business.
"So, how was your three-day marriage life" Ryzel asked as soon as they entered his laboratory.
As soon as Ryzel finished asking his question he saw Lyre blush instantly.
Looking at his reaction Ryzel said teasingly, "I see, it looks like you had a wonderful ti."
"Of course I had. How could I not?" Lyre said acting confident trying to bury his embarrassnt.
"Ok, I know. So, how is his ntal sea condition?" Ryzel asked knowing that they should have already established a mark aning Lyre also guided rvin already.
"I looked at his condition and I could infer that it is even in a more terrible state if you haven’t guided him once, thanks for that."
"No need to say thanks, he is a friend after all. Besides he also paid for it. Now, that he has you at least his condition should improve gradually."
"Yes, I am currently cleaning up the pollutants in his ntal sea. What about General Lewis, I heard his condition was even worse."
"Don’t worry, I am also constantly cleaning up his ntal sea but because of how vast it is I still haven’t finished cleaning up his ntal sea even though a few months already passed."
"Well, it is indeed understandable as his ntal power level is already 3S."
"By the way, where are you both staying?" Ryzel asked.
He knew that rvin should also have his own house in the capital, but he didn’t bother asking where. Now, that Lyre and rvin were married they should be living in rvin’s house, so he asked.
"We are actually living in the sa area as yours."
"Oh, and you didn’t even visit even if it’s just a few minutes. It seems you’ve been really busy for the past three days as you can’t even spare a few minutes to let know that you are actually living nearby."
Ryzel actually doesn’t care much if Lyre visited them or not as he was also busy making potions, he was just teasing him.
"Ha ha, rvin said no need to disturb you guys as we would eventually et today," Lyre said guiltily.
"I understand you are just busy being loved by your husband. No, need to feel guilty," Ryzel said while chuckling a bit.
"Hmph, what about you didn’t even ssage anything for the past three days," Lyre countered.
"Why would I even disturb you guys when I know that you will be busy. It’s not like we wouldn’t see each other for three years," Ryzel replied nonchalantly.
"You!"
