"I’ve had enough of you! All you care about is the Li Family! Isn’t Shiheng your child too? You knew all along that he was unwell, yet you kept pushing him! Now that he’s dead, you can’t even shed a single tear! How can you be so heartless!"

Listening to Tang Yuwei’s accusations, Li Tingmo was also boiling with rage and, with a bitter laugh, retorted, "I’m heartless? You should know very well how I’ve treated you over the years!"

"How you’ve treated ? How you’ve treated , Shiheng, and Zhuang Jie Ning is all the sa! In the end, it’s all for your precious Li Family!" Tang Yuwei sneered coldly, looking indifferently at Li Tingmo, "It’s just plain selfishness! I’m fed up too, let’s get a divorce. I don’t want to live with soone like you anymore!"

"Mom, you can’t get a divorce now!" Zhuang Jie Ning, as if jolted awake, looked at Tang Yuwei with urgency, "If you divorce now, what will happen to the reputation of the Li Family?"

Tang Yuwei looked at Zhuang Jie Ning coldly, her disdain for her apparent. With a scoff, she said, "You sure have learned to play the dog, always speaking up for the Li Family! But let tell you, Zhuang Jie Ning, I utterly refuse to acknowledge you, this harbinger of disaster!"

Her words were extrely harsh. Her own face paled, and she sneered back, unable to hide the scorn in her eyes, "I’m the harbinger of disaster? Why don’t you say it’s Bian Yue! She’s been with the Li Family longer than I have!"

Bian Yue stood at a distance, watching this farce unfold.

She did not wish to remain silent; however, at this mont, she was still struggling to accept the sudden change. Facing the news of death, Bian Yue found herself at a loss for words.

Shen Zhaoli frowned, looking at Bian Yue’s pale face and spoke without hesitation, "It seems we are not welco here. Bian Yue, let’s leave. We’ve been too nosy."

Hearing Zhuang Jie Ning’s words, Tang Yuwei slowly recovered from her imnse grief and finally noticed Bian Yue, who had been standing aside for a while.

For many years, Tang Yuwei’s interactions with Bian Yue were insincere and often manipulative, but after all, she had watched the girl grow up, and in her eyes, Bian Yue’s status was always higher than that of the irkso Zhuang Jie Ning.

Not to ntion, now that Li Sihe was gone, to Tang Yuwei, Bian Yue’s presence could even be considered a consolation.

Because of this, being unable to contain her rage toward Zhuang Jie Ning’s spiteful comnts, she strode toward her, grabbed her hair, and dragged her to the ground, "What right do you have to talk about others here! Zhuang Jie Ning! I think the person who should die the most is you!"

Zhuang Jie Ning was caught off guard and fell to the ground. She looked at Tang Yuwei in disbelief, her voice sharpened, "I am the daughter-in-law of the Li Family!"

"Enough!" Li Tingmo, exhausted, spoke sternly, breaking up the debacle.

Bian Yue also knew she probably shouldn’t have co. With Li Sihe gone, the Li Family had lost its last bit of aning to her.

She walked up to Li Tingmo and, under the worried gaze of Shen Zhaoli, calmly said, "Mr. Li, Zhaoli and I were on our way when we heard about Shiheng’s accident, so we ca to see how things were. Please accept my condolences. I will take my leave now. As for the funeral, if you wish for to attend, I will co."

Li Tingmo’s face darkened as he watched Bian Yue’s composed deanor. A trace of coldness flashed in his eyes as he coldly said, "We won’t trouble you with that. Our family’s matters are irrelevant to the Shen Family and... even less so to the Bian Family!"

A hint of coldness flickered in Bian Yue’s eyes as she quietly observed Li Tingmo. After a mont of repressed tension, she finally cald herself and left.

Shen Zhaoli watched with a cold eye, following Bian Yue’s steps, but before leaving, he glanced at the Li Family with a aningful look in his eyes.

He had seen enough of the squalid dealings of wealthy families, but the Li Family’s lack of dignity truly left him speechless.

Bai Xu watched as the two left, then withdrew his gaze and approached Li Tingmo.

"Master, let take you back."

Li Tingmo frowned, looking at Bai Xu displeased: "Rubbish! Shiheng’s body is still in the hospital! How can we leave now!"

"The body of the young master has already been cremated, and soone will bring the ashes to you later," said Bai Xu in a gentle voice, still with his seamless professional deanor; he looked at Li Tingmo and, amid the latter’s furious gaze, calmly took a step back: "Now, everyone can go back and wait for news."

Tang Yuwei, with her eyes red from crying, stumbled towards Bai Xu, her voice filled with grief and indignation: "Bai Xu! After all these years, is this how you repay the Li Family for nurturing you! Who gave you the courage to cremate Shiheng without our permission!"

Zhuang Jie Ning also finally got up slowly from the ground, her abdon aching slightly, but she still endured the pain and stepped forward: "Assistant Bai did the right thing; the ashes are discreet and harder to discover."

"Do you think that after everything, this matter can still be kept under wraps! The dia are everywhere outside now! Such a big incident happened to Shiheng at the wedding! His death has already been reported!" Tang Yuwei scoffed with a disgusted look at Zhuang Jie Ning: "You better go back to the Li Family this instant! I don’t want to see you anymore!"

Zhuang Jie Ning bit her lip, her face filled with resentnt.

She stamped her foot with anger, eventually still frustratedly standing aside, not daring to say more.

Whereas Bai Xu’s face remained unchanged, he explained calmly, "The cremation was actually Mr. Li’s idea, I was just following his orders. Both of you, please calm down."

"Fine, then we’ll wait to take the ashes back. By the way, you should hand over your current work." Li Tingmo looked coldly at Bai Xu, his voice deep: "Shiheng is gone now, your staying at Fengcheng will only attract more contempt; I will compensate you with a settlent and you may leave."

Tang Yuwei’s expression slightly eased at this.

But Bai Xu showed no reaction to the eviction order, speaking again with a steady tone, "I can resign, but Fengcheng Group might not be able to provide my compensation."

"What are you talking about?" Li Tingmo frowned, his expression turning angry, "I warn you, don’t spout nonsense here!"

"Have you not returned to Fengcheng in a long ti? Ever since Mr. Li took over the position of chairman, Fengcheng Group has been continuously suffering losses, and in the recent period, a large sum of money has been spent on overseas financing. Now that the project has failed, all funds have been trapped."

Li Tingmo took a staggering step back within Bai Xu’s calm words, his stability shaken.

Tang Yuwei instinctively supported Li Tingmo; she glared at Bai Xu, her expression furious, "What do you an by that! Bai Xu! What on earth did you and Shiheng do!"

"Mr. Li has passed away, whatever he did is no longer significant, and as for , I’ve been dismissed, so whatever I’ve done is also irrelevant." Bai Xu looked at them gently and slowly said: "What matters is, Fengcheng has gone bankrupt."
