She was determined to make everyone restless.
Li Sihe’s face was flushed with embarrassnt as he looked at Bian Yue, his eyes filled with deep regret.
"Bian Yue... give so ti, and I will get Zhuang Jie Ning to return the samples to you," Li Sihe pleaded, frowning slightly. "You go back first and wait for my ssage, okay?"
Bian Yue sat upright as usual, rely tilting her gaze slightly towards Li Sihe.
Her eyes were calm, the alienation in her expression piercing to the heart.
It was as if, in an instant, all the stories had reverted to their starting point.
Bian Yue was still that girl who guarded against him with vigilance, unable to truly trust him.
But so many years had passed, their relationship, no matter what, should not have reverted to square one.
Li Sihe turned pale, his heartbeat almost uncontrollable.
He didn’t know what to do amidst Bian Yue’s silence.
"I want results, and I want them today," Bian Yue said, staring directly at Li Sihe with a flat tone. "Zhuang Jie Ning is your fiancée, so I’m here today to remind you, if I don’t receive the samples today, I’ll expose your fiancée. If this causes a loss to Feng Cheng, it has nothing to do with ."
Zhuang Jie Ning chuckled, unfazed by Bian Yue’s threat.
She knew too well Bian Yue’s character. How could such a kind person really be harsh to Li Sihe when he was seriously ill? No matter how the Li Family sched against the Bian Family, Li Sihe had been kind to Bian Yue.

Zhuang Jie Ning smiled slightly, seemingly considerate. "If I were you, I would hold a press conference now and try to bring forward the schedule."
Finally, Bian Yue stood up and walked up to Zhuang Jie Ning.
She stood above her, looking down at Zhuang Jie Ning with an indifferent gaze.
"I have always been puzzled by where your malice towards cos from. Zhuang Jie Ning, if I rember correctly, we used to be best friends. Later, you went abroad and cut off contact with on your own. But upon your return, at our first eting, you seduced Shen Jinci. I don’t know where exactly our problem lies?"
"Don’t know? Yes, you’re always innocent; you’re never wrong!"
Bian Yue’s words froze Zhuang Jie Ning’s smile. Anger flashed in her eyes, quickly masked as she spoke stiffly, "You yourself said ’used to be.’ Bian Yue, what right do you have to talk to about friendship? After I t you, my life beca a ss!"
"You think my existence ruined your life?" Bian Yue repeated thoughtfully, her eyes colder still, "You are Miss Zhuang. Your life could have been smooth sailing, but it’s your own obsession that you refused to let go. Now, all this is your own doing, no one else is to bla."
Zhuang Jie Ning’s hand clenched into a fist. She scoffed coldly, "Yeah, you must think I brought it all on myself. But what can you do about ! Li Sihe won’t turn against his fiancée for your sake!"
Zhuang Jie Ning looked at Li Sihe with a laugh, her graceful face grotesquely twisted. She said, "Shiheng, am I right?"
Li Sihe’s patience was almost at its limit, but he couldn’t make the decision Bian Yue wanted.
"Bian Yue, the bigger this gets, the worse it will be to end it. With the sample issue, I assure you, no new clips will be leaked online, but you can’t take action against Zhuang Jie Ning at the Li Family."
Li Sihe’s emotions had cooled down, his peach blossom eyes frosty as he spoke gently and slowly, "Zhuang Jie Ning cannot co to harm at the Li Family."
Bian Yue looked at Li Sihe, sensing only suppression and unfamiliarity in his eyes.

"The damages caused by Zhuang Jie Ning, I will take responsibility. All the compensation Honey owes, Feng Cheng will bear it in full," Li Sihe said with a furrowed brow, his tone tinged with resignation. "Yueyue, let’s end this matter here, okay?"
Bian Yue looked coldly at Zhuang Jie Ning, her lips curving slightly as she replied calmly, "Since it can’t be resolved privately, then tomorrow morning, the lawyer’s letter will be sent to Feng Cheng; we will see each other in court."
Zhuang Jie Ning’s smile froze on her face, her astonished gaze fixed on Bian Yue, "Are you crazy? Do you know what you’re saying? You’re making an enemy of Feng Cheng!"
"I am rely defending my rights. Miss Zhuang, being a shareholder of Feng Cheng and an investor in ’Beijixing,’ I have every reason to believe that from the beginning to the end, this matter has been Feng Cheng’s vicious competition against Honey. Why can’t I sue?"
Bian Yue’s voice was so calm it had not a ripple in it, while Li Sihe watched her, his eyes bloodshot red with strain.
He had never expected Bian Yue to drag the whole of Feng Cheng into this.
"Bian Yue, causing such a fuss will alarm my father, and then even I won’t be able to protect you!" Li Sihe’s voice was suppressed to the extre, almost begging, "Can’t we just stop the commotion? I will get Zhuang Jie Ning to hand over the samples."
"If Zhuang Jie Ning likes the samples, she can keep them for herself; I don’t want them." Bian Yue looked coldly at Li Sihe, saying, "We have nothing else to discuss. Let’s end this here, Li Sihe."
With that said, she ignored Li Sihe’s reaction and turned to leave.
Zhuang Jie Ning sat still-faced, watching Li Sihe until Bian Yue had left. She then forced a calm sneer, "Who is Bian Yue trying to scare with her lowly tricks? How can she possibly sue Feng Cheng! If she does this, the collaboration between the Shen and Li Families will be affected, and Shen Jinci will suffer too!"
Having said that and seeing no response from Li Sihe, Zhuang Jie Ning pursed her lips anxiously, "Why aren’t you speaking?"
"Zhuang Jie Ning, do you think that just because our marriage is set, I can’t do anything to you?" Li Sihe’s deanor was icy. His sickly pale face was full of malevolence as he coldly said, "If Bian Yue really escalates this issue, your father won’t let you off easily either."
"Are you threatening ?" Zhuang Jie Ning’s complexion tensed, her hand clenched into a fist, and she suddenly laughed, "I don’t care! Anyway, this ti, Bian Yue has failed before she even started. I’d like to see how she turns things around!"
Li Sihe looked at Zhuang Jie Ning. The woman before him had been twisted beyond recognition by her own obsessions.
But what about himself?
All these years, had Feng Cheng also beco his obsession?
After sacrificing so much, relinquishing his conscience, paying such a high price for all he had obtained, did he truly still want it?
