Chapter 54: Pure Flower

“What are you laughing at?” Jiang Huai looked at Luo Yueguan discontentedly.

“What if I told you that the day each month she disappears, she’s not in seclusion to heal but doing sothing else? Would you believe it?”

“Doing what?”

“That’s your master’s secret, a very interesting one at that. If you want to know this secret… what are you willing to give?”

Luo Yueguan’s voice was gradual, like a spider spinning silk, luring Jiang Huai step by step into her web.

“What do you want?”

Luo Yueguan slightly lifted her toes, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Kiss the top of my foot, and I’ll tell you the secret.”

“Not interested.”

“Just a reminder, knowing this secret will definitely benefit you.”

“No, I really don’t want to know.”

Jiang Huai shook his head, trying hard to kill the curious cat inside him, shaking his head again.

“I’ve gone to great lengths to find you so many dicinal materials, expended my soul to open your acupoints and expel the poison, and you won’t even tell this little secret?”

“Yes, I’m just that selfish and ungrateful,” Luo Yueguan tilted her chin up slightly, seemingly proud of herself, and Jiang Huai was montarily exasperated.

“Then I won’t give you acupuncture tonight!”

“I don’t mind,” Luo Yueguan said softly.

“You’ve already given acupuncture twice, I’ve already profited no matter what.”

“How cheap! Can’t you just tell ?”

“Kiss the top of my foot, and I’ll tell you right away.”

“You’re dreaming!”

“Then there’s nothing to discuss.”

Luo Yueguan’s gaze shifted to her toes, stretching them out slightly.

“Change the condition,” Jiang Huai looked at Luo Yueguan, frustrated.

“No change.”

“What good does this condition do you?”

“Yes, it will make very happy,” Luo Yueguan’s lips curled.

“Just thinking about Chu Xianning’s most proud disciple, having to bow down like a dog to kiss the top of my foot, makes very happy.”

“You’ll end up having no friends if you continue like this,” Jiang Huai looked at her somberly.

“I hardly have any friends to begin with.”

“That’s because you deserve to be friendless!”

“I don’t care.” Luo Yueguan laughed even more joyfully, knowing that Jiang Huai would not compromise.

But precisely because of this, she was almost too delighted, her mischievousness nearly spilling out from her heart.

Too amusing.

It seed like it had been a very long ti since she had felt this happy.

Jiang Huai was definitely not going to comply.

First, he wasn’t a pervert

Second, he wasn’t a pervert.

And thirdly, given Luo Yueguan’s character, if he really compromised out of curiosity to know the secret, he would truly beco Luo Yueguan’s plaything.

Luo Yueguan lowered her crossed legs from beneath her cheongsam, and Jiang Huai thought this woman was finally going to stop her antics, but the next second, Luo Yueguan unreasonably placed her long legs on the table.

Too much.

“What are you doing?”

“Comfortable,” Luo Yueguan replied confidently, and Jiang Huai couldn’t argue.

He saw her cheongsam hem spread out, revealing her long legs. She still held her chest with both hands, leaning lazily against the chair.

“About three years ago, around the ti before your master ca to propose marriage, she talked to about you.”

“What did you talk about?” Jiang Huai was taken aback.

About three years ago was precisely when Jiang Huai inadvertently revealed his true feelings in front of Chu Xianning, causing her to arrange a marriage for him in embarrassnt. Jiang Huai looked at Luo Yueguan in front of him, her playful eyes making him itch with irritation.

“Want to know?”

Luo Yueguan’s toes, “Massage them for , and I’ll tell you if you do it well.”

The nature of the people of Chong country was always about compromise; a kiss was not okay, but a massage might be. It seems that Luo Yueguan is also well-versed in this approach.

Jiang Huai sneered, “I don’t want to know.”

“It’s about her thoughts on you…”

“I don’t want to know,” Jiang Huai repeated, standing up.

“When my master wants to tell , she will.”

With that, he turned and walked towards the kitchen, but after a few steps, sothing occurred to him, and he turned back.

“Oh, by the way, we’ve run out of ingredients for tonight, so there’s only enough for Luo Qingyu and . You won’t have any dinner!”

After saying that, he stord off to the kitchen.

Luo Yueguan in the pavilion laughed so hard she couldn’t straighten up, and it took her a long ti to regain her composure.

Luo Yueguan took out a mirror and looked at the woman in the reflection with a smile curling her lips, suddenly feeling a mont of disorientation.

Sowhat unfamiliar.

……

Indeed, there was no portion for Luo Yueguan at dinner.

Jiang Huai keeps his word.

“Mother… you should eat too.”

Luo Qingyu reached out and gently tugged at Luo Yueguan’s sleeve. Luo Yueguan gave Jiang Huai a faint glance. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to join the table; it was that Jiang Huai simply hadn’t served her any food.

“There’s only enough for the two of us, if your Mother eats then Qingyu will have nothing,” Jiang Huai said unhurriedly.

Luo Qingyu imdiately hugged her bowl, “Well, then Mother can eat next ti.”

Jiang Huai burst into cheerful laughter.

Luo Yueguan sat to the side, silently sipping the northwest wind. The torrential rain had poured down for almost the entire day. After dinner, Luo Qingyu obediently cleaned up the dishes. When she returned after washing them, Jiang Huai pulled her into his embrace, gently massaging her shoulders and waist.

Luo Qingyu’s body was as soft as cotton candy, obedient, and her cheeks turned rosy. But thinking about Jiang Huai leaving tomorrow, her eyes began to fill with grievance.

“I’ll be returning to the sect tomorrow, and I’ll co back to Qingxuan Sect in a couple of months,” Jiang Huai said, his fingertips gently pinching Luo Qingyu’s earlobe.

Luo Qingyu humd in a pitiful tone, and Jiang Huai suddenly thought of sothing.

“I’ll send sothing to Qingyu after a while.”

“What is it?”

“I’m researching a spirit jade for long-distance communication. That way, even if we can’t see each other, we can still chat at night.”

Jiang Huai gently stroked Luo Qingyu’s body, soothing the girl’s slight grievance. Luo Qingyu obediently agreed. As the sky gradually darkened, she still refused to get up until Jiang Huai picked her up.

“Alright, it’s ti to sleep obediently.”

“No, I’m not sleepy yet…”

Luo Qingyu clung to Jiang Huai, unwilling to let go. Jiang Huai stroked the little clinger’s hair sowhat helplessly.

“Then shall we take a walk around the sect?”

Only then did Luo Qingyu obediently get down from him, holding tightly onto his arm.

Until the moon hung high, Jiang Huai accompanied Luo Qingyu for a long stroll around the sect before finally carrying the nearly asleep Luo Qingyu back to the courtyard.

Luo Yueguan had already put on her nightgown and was lying in bed ready to rest. Jiang Huai gently pushed open the door, ca to the bedside, and laid the sleeping Luo Qingyu down.

Then he glanced at Luo Yueguan, who was lying on her side, and whispered, “Co with .”

“Aren’t you going to stop giving acupuncture?” Luo Yueguan turned her face away.

“I was just joking with you, why take it seriously?”

Jiang Huai sighed helplessly, giving her a look, “I’ll wait for you in my room.”

……

In the room.

Jiang Huai had already prepared the final dicinal liquid, and Luo Yueguan had arrived. She was wearing a light purple nightgown that barely covered her behind, and her well-proportioned white legs were revealed beneath the hem. Jiang Huai’s gaze was instantly drawn to her. Luo Yueguan sat down and, quite ungracefully, lifted her leg onto the table, causing the hem to slide down a bit.

She tilted her head, “Where are you going to needle today?”

“I must have owed you in my last life,” Jiang Huai sighed deeply, tossing her the porcelain bottle.

“You sar it on your legs yourself.”

“Didn’t you always help apply it before?”

“That was because I wasn’t familiar with the specific conditions of your acupoints. I used spiritual energy to sense them while applying the dicine. Now that I’ve figured it out, you can do it yourself.”

“I won’t.”

Luo Yueguan turned her head away, “You apply it for .”

“You…!”

Jiang Huai usually didn’t like to get angry with won, but Luo Yueguan always managed to infuriate him. Yet, whenever he saw Luo Yueguan’s cheeks, he would think of Luo Qingyu, and inexplicably his anger would dissipate.

“Forget it, I can’t be bothered to argue with you.”

Jiang Huai opened the porcelain bottle, brought over a chair, had Luo Yueguan position her legs properly, then sat down beside her, pouring the dicinal liquid on her legs and using his fingertips to spread it bit by bit.

His movents were ticulous. Luo Yueguan quietly turned her head to gaze at Jiang Huai’s profile. His eyes showed no hint of improper thoughts, clear as a mirror.

“Be gentler,” Luo Yueguan pouted slightly in complaint.

Jiang Huai deliberately increased the pressure a bit, and Luo Yueguan bit her lip slightly but wasn’t annoyed, just huffed lightly.

“Do you find Aunt Luo’s legs attractive?”

Jiang Huai couldn’t be bothered to respond.

“Hmm? Or do you prefer the delicate ones like your master’s? Your master is indeed beautiful, but she’s too thin. I fear that if she has children in the future, the babies will cry from hunger.”

Jiang Huai was inexplicably amused, but laughing seed impolite, so he firmly slapped Luo Yueguan’s thigh.

“Don’t speak ill of my master.”

“You clearly laughed.”

Luo Yueguan laughed along with him. During the acupuncture sessions of the past two nights, she always felt anxious and inexplicably scared, but tonight she felt strangely at ease and languid. Jiang Huai’s fingertips kneaded on her legs, a warm sensation rging into her body, making her so comfortable she wanted to sleep well.

“How nice it would have been if the person who had found you back then was ,” Luo Yueguan murmured softly.

“Then I would have been tornted by you from a young age, just like Qingyu? You might as well kill if you want to practice swordsmanship every day. If I had a master like you, I’d rather kill myself.”

“I may not be like your master, but I would love you more. If you were my disciple and I saw that prescription, I would have taken the opportunity to heal you while you were unconscious.”

“Heh, who would want that?”

“Don’t you want to dual cultivate with ?” Luo Yueguan’s eyes twinkled with mirth.

“Shaless!” Jiang Huai had resorted to the most aggressive words he could find to attack Luo Yueguan.

“The shaless Luo Yueguan you speak of is still a virgin to this day, never touched by any man, her flower as pure as ever. Would you like to take a look?”

Jiang Huai suddenly wanted to find sothing to stuff Luo Yueguan’s mouth shut.
