Zoe Lewis looked as if she had been struck by lightning, unable to believe that these words ca out of Left Hong’s mouth!
Left Hong seed oblivious as he picked her up and carried her toward the bathroom.
Zoe was so frightened her whole body stiffened, and she shouted anxiously, "Auntie, I don’t need him to wash ! I can do it myself! I’m fine! I have the strength!"
Mrs. Zuo chuckled, "Don’t be polite with him. He caused you to be buried under the coal mine; you can order him around all you want. Auntie won’t disturb you two, the als are almost ready, and you can co out to eat after your bath!"
She exited the hospital room with a smile on her face, thoughtfully closing the door for them.
Zoe was already carried into the bathroom by Left Hong. She looked at his handso yet indifferent face in horror, "What’s wrong with you? Why are you talking nonsense?"
Left Hong set her down, standing face to face with her in the unlit bathroom, "What nonsense did I say?"
"You, you... what nonsense were you calling out? How could you tell Auntie you would help bathe? She would misunderstand!"
"Isn’t misunderstanding what you wanted? Pretending to be my girlfriend and even showing up at my house, and now you want to deny it all?"
"I... I..."

The little woman in his arms was petrified, and Left Hong let out a soft chuckle.
After a long while, he quietly asked her, "Frightened?"
Zoe’s voice trembled, "Which one is the real Left Hong?"
She could almost see three versions of him: one indifferent and aloof like a sage beyond worldly affairs, one gentle and attentive taking ticulous care of her, and the current one, unfathomable like a devil, whose emotions were imperceptible yet inexplicably captivating to sink with him.
Left Hong held her, his arm wrapped tightly, pressing them together, feeling each other’s warmth and heartbeat.
His voice was low, with a hint of enchantnt, "They’re all , Mia. Which one do you like?"
Zoe’s heart skipped a beat; she looked up in shock, eting a pair of deep eyes, "How do you know this na?!"
Left Hong released her and smiled lightly, "It’s ti for a bath, Mia. I’ll be outside. If you feel uncomfortable, rember to call ."
He gracefully exited the bathroom, leaving Zoe alone in disarray.
