Isabella Weaver grew more and more alard as she read on—Wayne University had been shut down?

Why?

There had been no warning signs; the arrogant staff at the registrar’s office canceled her student status without a hint of impending trouble.

Wayne University wasn’t so shady, sketchy school. It’s one of the best private universities in A City, boasting a stellar reputation and powerful resources. Countless students vie to get in each year.

And, like many people on the forums had said, Wayne University indeed has influential connections, with annual donations flowing into the school in billions.

How could it just shut down like that?

Isabella Weaver scrolled through countless comnts, trying to find an answer, but opinions varied widely, none of them reliable.

So even claid it was because the school inexplicably erased a student’s status, preventing her from graduating, and turned out she had astonishing connections, who shut down the school in anger.

Not a single person believed this comnt; every reply mocked the poster for spinning tales without making them believable.

Isabella Weaver also found this comnt absurd.

Recently, Wayne University had only erased her student status, but what kind of connections did she have?

Christopher Weaver?

It’s fortunate enough if he doesn’t hit anyone; why would he stand up for her? Her expulsion was his doing.

A chilling image flashed across Isabella’s mind, and she shook her head. Maybe she’s been too exhausted lately, consud by her thoughts!

Her phone had been off for a long ti, and now that she turned it on, she received countless ssages and missed call notifications.

Milo Field and her deranged cousin bombarded her with calls and ssages; Milo even switched several numbers to reach her, more desperate than Alexander Parker.

Strangely, Christopher Weaver’s ssages and calls had stopped just this morning; he hadn’t tried to contact her in the afternoon.

This was entirely unlike Christopher Weaver’s character, raising enormous doubts in Isabella’s mind.

Before she could make sense of it all, a rcedes sports car rushed out of the rain, nearly crashing into Isabella’s car!

Isabella’s expression turned cold as she got out of her car, and a red-eyed woman staggered out of the rcedes.

"Isabella! Mom and Dad are gone! They’re gone!"

Ella Weaver’s face was bloodless; she cried and trembled as she tried to grab Isabella’s face but was too terrified to do so, collapsing into the mud, dirtying her pretty and expensive Chanel coat.

Isabella frowned: "What’s missing?"

"It’s all your fault! They’re definitely murdered, and I’ll be next! I’m about to die, are you happy now?"

"What are you talking about?"

"I’m talking about the consequences of your fleeing the wedding! Alexander Parker, the maniac, said that if he couldn’t find you, he’d kill all of us! Now Mom and Dad are gone, the servants are gone, there’s no one left in the house!"

Isabella shivered, uncontrollably taking a step back.

No way?

Has Alexander Parker beco this psychotic?

But isn’t he only after those he likes? He never touches those he doesn’t!

"How do you know it’s Alexander? Maybe they just went out and didn’t tell you; try searching and contacting them."

Ella Weaver cried her heart out in the rain, disregarding her appearance: "It is him! It must be him! Mom and Dad didn’t even take their phones, not even wearing shoes. How could they be out! It’s all your fault; you’ve escaped and hidden away, leaving us to perish!"
