Harry Hunter’s icy and stern gaze swept over: "Say that again?"

Johan Niles felt his scalp tingle, too scared to take a breath, and gritted his teeth: "This is for Isabella’s good. We can test the drug content in her body. If, by any chance, the content is too high, the child...can’t be kept."

Harry Hunter’s heart suddenly felt excruciating pain!

She loves children so much, finally having one, she’ll surely be very happy when she wakes up.

But if there’s a problem...

Harry Hunter didn’t dare to think further.

His eyes turned red: "Draw it, but don’t draw too much!"

Johan Niles agreed, thankful for his solid professional skills. Under Harry Hunter’s blade-like gaze, his hands didn’t tremble as he quickly and steadily drew blood from Isabella Weaver’s white porcelain-like skin.

He withdrew the needle, pressed a disinfected cotton swab, and the swab was imdiately stained with bright red blood.

Harry Hunter was unsatisfied: "Incompetent doctor, you made her bleed!"

Johan Niles wanted to cry; if he couldn’t draw blood, that would really make him an incompetent doctor, wouldn’t it?

His ntor was too clever, sneaking away so quickly, leaving him here to be scolded.

This Young Master Hunter was terrifying!

Mommy, I want to go ho!

Johan Niles carried a tube of blood and hurriedly ran off to deliver it for testing.

If he stayed any longer, Harry Hunter’s gaze would pierce holes throughout his body.

In the evening, Isabella Weaver woke up, an hour earlier than Director Valley had anticipated.

As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Harry Hunter looking at her: "Honey..."

Harry Hunter was overjoyed, imdiately kissed her: "Baby, you scared to death. You finally woke up! Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"

"No, I just feel a little thirsty."

Harry Hunter had already prepared warm water for her, and upon hearing her, he imdiately helped her up to drink.

Isabella Weaver drank half a glass of water, her mind fully clearing. She leaned against Harry Hunter, puzzled: "How did I suddenly pass out?"

"Perhaps Peter Barnes used too much dication."

"Impossible, although I inhaled a little and felt a bit drowsy, I’ve been quite alert, then suddenly everything went black. I even thought I’d gone blind."

Unable to deceive her, Harry Hunter had to tell the truth: "Director Valley said your emotions fluctuated too much, you got upset." That’s why he planned to twist off Cora Ginger’s head!

Isabella Weaver blinked: "Could I be that easily angered? I don’t think so!"

"You can."

Harry Hunter held her tightly, his face cold: "So from now on, you’re not allowed to see people who aren’t straightforward. No more going to work, just stay ho obediently."

Seeing his poor mood, Isabella Weaver knew he was genuinely upset and hurried to soothe him: "Minor incident, I’m as strong as an ox. You don’t believe ? I’ll jump twice to show you."

Saying that, she tried to get out of bed to hop around, but Harry Hunter pressed her down steadily.

"Stay still, lie down properly. With those thin arms and legs of yours, as strong as an ox? Any ox that gets as skinny as you would worry its keeper to death."

"You can’t be overreacting either. I just fainted accidentally, yet you won’t let go to work. What about my company?"

"I’ll run it for you. It’ll surely make more money than if you were managing it yourself. I won’t take a di from the earnings; it’ll all go into your personal savings."

"Then won’t I go stir-crazy at ho?"

"That’s still better than fainting from anger."

"What if I beco useless?"

"I’ll take care of you!"

This ti, Harry Hunter was particularly firm and resolute, but his actions were gentle beyond belief, softly holding her, caressing her cheek and hair, his love and indulgence evident.

Isabella Weaver kissed his chin, seeing his face still cold, then she kissed his lips: "I’m really fine. Why are you so upset? It’s scary."
