My little wife is so good, so loving, Harry Hunter couldn’t suppress the desire to show off.
After hanging up the phone, Harry was in a great mood chatting with his secretary.
"Secretary Landon."
"Yes, Mr. Hunter."
"Do you have a wife?"
"No."
"I do."
Secretary Landon: "..."
Mr. Hunter, please sober up, have you carved yourself silly?
The entire company knows you have a wife, okay? You show off every day, and everyone has given you the nickna "Show-off Wife Maniac," don’t you know?!
"My wife loves so much, she carved a wooden sculpture, look, isn’t it well-carved?"
"Yes, it’s very vivid."
No wonder the boss was holding a bunch of tree roots this morning, carving away non-stop, this is the reason!
"Does your wife carve wooden sculptures for you?"
"I..."
"Hmm, you don’t have one."
"..."
Mr. Hunter, as long as you’re happy, no need to worry about the subordinates’ fate.
Previously, Secretary Landon thought the nickna "Show-off Wife Maniac" was too exaggerated because during the ti he spent with Harry, Harry was very low-key, always focused and serious at work, and never ntioned Isabella in public.
But today he realized, Harry really lives up to the nickna of the "Show-off Wife Maniac," it’s not exaggerated at all!
"Alright, you can leave now, find a master sculptor to co to my office every day for an hour of tutoring."
"Yes."
Secretary Landon left Harry’s office, stuffed full of dog food, his face was green.
David saw him co out and approached to pat his shoulder: "Secretary, where are you having lunch today?"
"Not eating."
"Huh?"
"I’m already full."
"What? I haven’t seen you eat anything!"
"I ate dog food, personally fed by the boss."
David was taken aback, then quickly realized and smiled: "You’ll get used to it, our Young Master occasionally likes to choke people with dog food."
Isabella didn’t know that a certain man had shown off about her again, she hung up the phone and went out for lunch with the secretary and the bodyguard.
Just after leaving the building, she saw Cora waiting outside.
Because of the incident last ti, she was banned from entering Moonlight Jewelry Tower, so she could only wait outside.
"Isabella, why didn’t you reply to my ssages? I couldn’t get through on the phone either, did you block my number?"
Cora anxiously approached her and grabbed Isabella’s arm: "I’ve been waiting at ho for you all day yesterday and day before, why didn’t you co?"
Isabella was completely surprised: "I didn’t get your ssages, nor receive your call."
She took out her phone, trying to find Cora’s number, but it was gone!
She thought for a mont and guessed it was Harry’s doing.
After all, besides him, no one else touched her phone.
But she certainly couldn’t sell Harry out, so she apologetically said, "Perhaps there’s a problem with my phone, I didn’t receive your call."
Cora, not being foolish, knew it was an excuse, but continuing to press the matter would be pointless and would only sour their relationship.
She smartly skipped the topic, breathed a sigh of relief: "You scared , I thought you were mad and refused to forgive ."
Isabella didn’t say anything, took Grace Watt and Secretary Landon for lunch, Cora kept holding onto her arm so tightly that she couldn’t pull her away, so she brought her along.
During the al, Cora persistently invited Isabella to visit her ho.
Her excessive insistence made Isabella suspicious.
Initially, she didn’t want to visit Peter Barnes’s ho but now she changed her mind.
"Cora, I’m very busy today, how about I co to your ho tomorrow noon?"
