Zoe Lewis’s eyes curved as she handed him two more, "The fire is pretty good, here’s a little reward for you."

Jace and the others didn’t dare to snatch Isabella’s fish, but when they saw David with five of them, they rushed over.
Jace: "Zoe is so biased, why does David get so many fish! Give one!"

Isabella Weaver was watching them cause a ruckus, laughing so much that she leaned against Harry Hunter.
Harry took advantage of her laughter, grabbed the plate, picked up a fish, and chomped away.
Isabella Weaver exclaid, "Oh no, my fish!"
Harry turned and ran, while Isabella chased him, laughing as the entire picnic area beca lively.
Zoe Lewis smiled cheerfully, wiping the sweat from her forehead while washing the wild vegetables, preparing to cook a pot of wild vegetable and lean at porridge.

While she was busy, the mushroom soup was divided up, as were the small dishes sautéed earlier and the skewers from the barbecue, leaving nothing left.

Grace Watt’s beggar’s chicken was already fully cooked, one chicken split into seven portions, just enough to fill the gaps between their teeth.
Fortunately, everyone was mostly full, so just a taste of the beggar’s chicken was enough.
David didn’t eat his share; he handed it to Zoe Lewis with a calm tone, "This is for you."
Zoe Lewis was quite surprised that he would offer food by himself.
She smiled sweetly, "Thanks!"
He still has a bit of humanity left, not completely heartless. Looks like there’s still a chance.
The beggar’s chicken didn’t use too many seasonings, just the basics, plus a layer of honey she brought, and was stead in lotus leaves.
