Left Hong thought that when he said "we’re short of a cook," Zoe Lewis would be unhappy, but to his surprise, she didn’t mind at all. She looked at her own cheongsam with embarrassnt and said, "Wearing sothing like this to cook is inconvenient, plus the shoes aren’t suitable. If Isabella misunderstands and thinks I’m out to seduce soone, that would be bad."
Zoe Lewis rested her chin on her hand and thought for a mont: "Help keep an eye out for a roadside store that sells clothes. I have to change into sothing else."
Left Hong was a bit surprised, was she really planning to dedicate herself to being a "cook"?

They had already left the city area, so finding a clothing store wasn’t easy.

The shopkeeper was imdiately attracted by Zoe Lewis in her cheongsam: "Miss, your dress is so pretty, where did you buy it?"

Zoe Lewis said simply, not offering much explanation, and bypassed the shopkeeper to look through the clothes.
The shop wasn’t very big, and there weren’t many clothes, plus the style and quality weren’t impressive.
The shopkeeper kept closely following Zoe Lewis, eyeing her up and down, looking at her exposed fair legs, regretting that she had a boyfriend with her which made it hard for him to make a move.
Left Hong frowned and stepped between the shopkeeper and Zoe Lewis, using his own body to shield her.
Zoe Lewis instantly felt his protective gesture, smiled gently, picked out a loose sports outfit, and also picked a pair of sneakers, then turned around to head toward the fitting room to change clothes.
Left Hong held onto her: "Change in the car."
Zoe Lewis didn’t understand, but she was used to complying, and with Left Hong’s tone so firm, she subconsciously took the clothes and walked out.
As she reached the door, she looked back at Left Hong: "I rushed out and didn’t bring any money."
"I’ll pay for you."
Left Hong ushered her out of the store, noticing the shopkeeper’s eyes still glued to Zoe Lewis, and said coldly: "What are you looking at? Ti to pay!"
The shopkeeper was startled by his cold tone, noticing his attire was not ordinary, and the car he drove was evidently an expensive Humr.
He explained in a flustered manner: "I was just admiring your girlfriend’s beautiful cheongsam. I’m in the clothing business, so I can’t help but stop when I see pretty clothes, with no other intentions!"
Left Hong coldly repeated: "Pay up!"
"Four hundred and sixty."
Left Hong handed over the money, keeping a stern face as he left.
It turned out Zoe Lewis was right, this was a black shop.
He waited outside the car for a while, only after confirming Zoe Lewis had changed clothes did he open the car door and sit in the driver’s seat.
Zoe Lewis not only changed out of her cheongsam but also carefully removed her expensive pink diamond jewelry, storing it on the back seat.
