Director Valley trembled fiercely, his excited hands shaking!
He dedicated his entire life to the dical profession, tirelessly researching dical problems day and night. He never married nor had children. He ticulously nurtured Johan Niles, pouring all his dical expertise accumulated over decades into his disciple, hoping that soday Johan could inherit his legacy and carry on the developnt of the hospital.
But he knew that Johan was sowhat like him, possessing high dical talent but having no clue about business managent.
If Harry Hunter continued to safeguard them, then the hospital would never have any issues, and Johan could focus on honing his dical skills without getting entangled in the tedious and complicated operations.
"Alright! Rest assured, Young Master Hunter, I will ensure the old man is healthy and lives a long life!"
Director Valley didn’t dare to promise outright that Ben Hunter would live past a hundred, but given Ben’s current good health, as long as he continued to take good care of him, there shouldn’t be any major issues.
Outside the office, Johan Niles paced back and forth, trying to catch what was being said inside, but he couldn’t hear clearly. He was worried Harry Hunter might get angry, as Harry had gone in with a terrifyingly cold expression.
After waiting for over ten minutes, the door suddenly opened, and his ntor ca out with a joyful and radiant face. Seeing him, he asked, "Where’s the old man? Co on, don’t just stand there, go take care of him!"
Johan was full of questions, wondering what Harry had said to make his ntor so happy.
"ntor, did Young Master Hunter give you a boost?"
"Pop"!
Director Valley gave him a slap on the back of his head. "What nonsense are you talking? Young Master Hunter just agreed to invest more funds in the hospital in the future!"
Johan’s eyes lit up instantly, staring intently at Harry, "Young Master, how much are you planning to invest?"
Harry ignored him; this guy was money-eyed, itching to clear out the Star Region Group’s funds for the developnt of new drugs and purchasing new equipnt.
He strode out to see the old man.
Director Valley and Johan followed him, whispering to each other.
"ntor, how much is Young Master Hunter really going to invest?"
"Don’t ask, it won’t be anyti soon."
"Then what will it take for him to invest? Whatever conditions he sets, even if it ans I sleep on the streets, I’ll agree!"
"You won’t have to sleep on the street."
Director Valley lowered his voice significantly and patted his disciple’s head fondly. In the future, when the hospital was handed over to Johan, he could die without regrets.
"All we need to do is take good care of the old man’s health, ensure he lives past a hundred."
Johan’s eyes widened like saucers in shock, "Won’t that an waiting thirty years!"
He tugged desperately at his ntor’s white coat, "ntor, are you silly? He gave you an empty promise, why are you so happy?"
Director Valley gave him another slap, "What’s the rush? You’ll only be fifty-five in thirty years, and I’ll let you be the director then."
Johan’s face fell, "ntor, I have to wait until I’m fifty-five to be the director, can’t it be sooner?"
Director Valley glared at him, "What, do you want your ntor to pass away sooner to give you my position?"
Johan grinned cheekily, holding his arm, "No, I’m just concerned about you, ntor. You should retire early and enjoy life. Let handle the hard work of being the director!"
"No need! I’m not that old. I plan to work hard for another thirty years!"
"ntor, you won’t need thirty years; in ten years, you’ll have presbyopia and won’t be able to see clearly!"
