Connor glanced at it and said, "Okay!"
The reward has doubled, now reaching ten million.
But to Connor, this wasn’t a big amount at all.
Could it be that after working under the Young Master for so long, he’d beco accustod to how freely the Young Master spent money? He always felt like ten million was too little for a prince’s life.
If anything happened to Harry Hunter, Ben Hunter would spare no expense, dropping tens or hundreds of billions to capture soone.
They all say the S Kingdom is filthy rich, but it seems they’re not that rich after all!
Connor sat in the high seat, gnashing his teeth in hatred at the woman who killed Prince Ollen.
Of all people, you had to kill a prince!
Now he has to step up!
Everyone thinks being a prince is sothing enviable, but only those who’ve been through it know there’s no freedom at all!
Constantly under supervision, always having to mind your image, if you make the slightest mistake, it’ll be splashed across the news, followed by endless criticism.
As a prince who ca into the role late, after returning to the country, he couldn’t even keep track of how many disdainful looks he received, and he couldn’t hide his past at all.
Harry Hunter was too famous; the Star Region Group’s multinational companies were everywhere at ho and abroad. He had appeared beside Harry Hunter too many tis, and a simple check could easily reveal it all.
The citizens were outraged that their country’s prince had gone to be soone else’s bodyguard, and many people were scolding him.
Of course, there were also those who scolded the King, a ruler who had managed to lose his own son and only found him after so many years, it was simply absurd!
No one knew that the King deliberately abandoned this son back then, and most people didn’t know that Connor’s bloodline wasn’t pure. If they knew, the criticism would only increase.
Connor felt like a bird in a cage, unable to fly out, only able to endure.
So he really wanted to find that killer and give her a good kicking!
After dealing with a bunch of chaotic affairs, Connor followed Hel out of the council chamber, back to his palace, ready to learn the language.
He still couldn’t speak the language of the S Kingdom, and usually relied on English for communication, but not everyone in the S Kingdom spoke English. For a prince not to speak his own country’s language was simply indefensible.
Once inside the palace, there was already a language teacher waiting in the front hall.
Hel introduced them to him, "Your Highness, this is the teacher hired specifically for you, her na is Emmy."
Emmy bowed her head in a curtsey, performing the S Kingdom’s noble etiquette, and greeted him in standard S Kingdom language, "Your Highness, hello, I will be teaching you the national language from now on."
Connor stared at her blankly for a long ti without speaking.
Natalie Niles?!
She changed her hairstyle, her clothes, her na, even her language, but even if she turned to ashes, Connor would recognize her!
Hel thought he didn’t understand and translated it again, but seeing no response, had to call to him several tis.
Connor snapped back to reality and said calmly, "I know, you can leave."
As Hel’s footsteps faded away, Connor stepped forward and reached out to grab Natalie’s hand.
Natalie stepped back, lowered her head and said, "Your Highness, I am now your teacher, it’s ti for class."
Connor had a ton of questions he wanted to ask her but more than that, he wanted to hug her, and she wouldn’t let him!
He touched his face and asked, "Is it because I’ve been beaten to a pulp that you can’t recognize ?"
Natalie blinked and said, "What is Your Highness talking about? We never knew each other!"
"Co here!"
"What’s the matter, Your Highness?"
"I told you to co over, how dare you not listen to the Prince?"
Natalie laughed and said, "The Prince certainly puts on quite a show."
