Harry Hunter suddenly laughed. It was truly bizarre; in all his years, this was the first ti soone was afraid he'd suffer a loss and invited him to dinner!

The indifference in his voice dissipated a bit as he casually said, "Let treat you. You're still a student and don't have much inco. It won't be too late to treat when you're working officially."

Speaking of inco, Isabella Weaver suddenly rembered the check she recently received.

A smile appeared on her slightly pale face. "I got a large sum of money yesterday, so I can afford to treat! You must let treat today, and you're not allowed to fight over it."

Harry Hunter felt a stir inside and asked her, "Did one of your paintings sell?"

Isabella Weaver's lips curved up. "Yes! The buyer seems very generous and really believes in !"

"Really? How much did your painting sell for?"

Isabella Weaver held out a slender, tender hand and gestured, "Fifty thousand!"

Connor, who had been following along with a cheerful grin, nearly stumbled at her words!

The Young Master spent two million on that painting, and Isabella Weaver only received fifty thousand?!

Truly, there's no honest business person in the world!

He looked up at Harry Hunter and saw the cold gleam in his eyes. Suddenly, Connor felt a bit sorry for that swindler; daring to pocket Harry Hunter's money was bound to end badly.

Harry Hunter's face showed no expression, but the anger in his heart was indescribable!

He knew the gallery would definitely take a commission, but he never thought William Palr would take 1.95 million!

He was willing to spend two million on the painting, hoping in a discreet way to increase Isabella Weaver's inco, so she wouldn't have to work so hard at odd jobs.

But it ended up fattening up the swindler!

"Connor!"

"Yes, Young Master!"

"Soone is tired of living. Find soone to clean them up."

"Yes, Young Master, rest assured!"

Isabella Weaver didn't understand what Harry Hunter and Connor were talking about. She vaguely felt it might relate to her sohow, but she couldn't figure out what it was, only noticing Harry Hunter's face suddenly turn cold.

She took out the check from her bag and asked him, "Mr. Hunter, is there sothing wrong with this money?"

"No, don't overthink it. I just suddenly rembered sothing and asked Connor to take care of it."

Harry Hunter's fingers brushed through her smooth and shiny hair, giving her a slight smile. "Co on, let's go have breakfast. Weren't you going to treat?"

Isabella Weaver could only suppress her doubts and went with Harry Hunter to the restaurant.

While they were eating breakfast, a gallery halfway across A City was vandalized.

William Palr was terrified. "Who are you people, smashing up my gallery in broad daylight? I'm going to call the police!"

A muscular man stepped forward, stomped on him after kicking him down, "You enjoyed receiving two million yesterday, right?"

William Palr quickly realized. "Are you guys working for the kid who bought the painting yesterday?"

Another man slapped him several tis, scolding him. "What do you an 'the kid'? That's our Young Master! Our Young Master spent two million on a painting just to make the Young Madam happy, and you pocketed all the money! Our Young Master is very upset, and the consequences are severe!"

"Young Madam? Are you talking about Isabella Weaver?"

William Palr was bleeding from the nose, his ears buzzing, and it took him a while to realize who they were talking about.

Impossible!

How could Isabella Weaver have such a powerful backing!

She's clearly just a poor student without any support!

Could it be an act?

Oh my God, why would a wealthy Young Madam disguise herself as poor, causing him to skimp on the money!
