Johan Niles originally didn’t want to walk with Lucas Chambers holding him half-hugged like that, but seeing Connor also wrapped in an embrace, he could only endure the awkwardness and walk out wordlessly.
Fortunately, the colleagues in the hospital were all smiling and greeting them. No one found it odd; instead, they admired them, thinking that the brotherly bond among the three was great.
They went to a barbecue place, ordered a bunch of skewers, and so beers, eating, drinking, and chatting away.

Lucas really wasn’t bluffing; he could drink thousand cups without getting drunk, while Johan Niles didn’t manage to get Lucas drunk but had already gotten himself drunk.
Connor drank very little; he had to go back and take care of Natalie Niles, always needing to stay alert and clear-headed as alcohol can dull the mind.
The three of them ate for more than an hour before parting, with Johan Niles already drunk under the table.
Connor said matter-of-factly to Lucas Chambers, "I’m heading back, I’ll leave Johan to you, look at how you got him hamred!"

He hailed a taxi, and as he was driving ho, when he got to the street in front of the villa, he could distinctly feel soone observing him, watching his villa.
When he reached the door, several bodyguards ca forward to report: "Brother Connor, there are four people around in ambush, soone tried to break into the villa but we stopped them. They are quite skilled, if it cos to a forceful entry, we might not be able to win."
"Don’t worry, they won’t force their way in."
Connor patted his subordinate’s shoulder, "Swap the shifts, you guys take a break, have Jace and the others keep watch."
Among these four people, there must be so brought by Lucas Chambers; Lucas would never let his n break into his house.
If Lucas’ n won’t break in, neither would spies from any agency; both sides maintain a very delicate balance.

Lucas couldn’t care less about whether Connor’s house was big or small now; he helped Johan Niles out of the barbecue place and waited for his troops to co pick them up.
Drunk Johan Niles beca exceptionally chatty, clinging onto Lucas’ neck refusing to let go, attracting quite a few gazes from the people in the shop and on the street.
Lucas sighed helplessly, "If you keep this up, my reputation is going to be ruined because of you."
