Connor felt like a traveler struggling through a desert, and she gave him a drop of water to drink, and he thought it was incredibly sweet, willingly allowing her to control him.

He walked indoors:

"The midday sun is too harsh now; it will harm your skin."

Natalie Niles protested, "I still want to sunbathe. The sun won’t harm . Put back."

"No way."

Connor forcefully refused, "Be a little obedient, and I’ll make you sothing to eat."

He carried Natalie downstairs, laid her on the sofa, turned on the TV to play the cartoon Tom and Jerry, and busied himself in the kitchen.

Natalie Niles couldn’t help but rub her forehead. Did she accidentally find herself a foolish boyfriend?

Why can’t he find a show with dialogue, sothing for adults to watch? At least she could ntally fill in the scenes based on the conversation.

There are hardly any words in Tom and Jerry, and now that she’s blind, she can’t see anything, so how is she supposed to imagine what’s happening?

However, listening to the sounds of cooking coming from the kitchen and the music on the TV, she felt life was full and even her heart followed suit, becoming peaceful.

She imagined Connor wearing a deep blue shirt, sleeves rolled up, standing tall in the kitchen as he washed vegetables, cut at, and prepared porridge, with a slight smile at the corner of his lips.

He should look very handso.

"Connor."

She called out softly, not expecting Connor to be able to distinguish her voice amidst the chaotic sounds and co to her side imdiately: "What’s wrong? Does your body hurt? Headache? Feel unwell?"

Natalie Niles was softened a bit by his rapid-fire questions.

She groped to find Connor’s hand and held it, her fingers unconsciously stroking: "What are you wearing today?"

"Shirt and trousers, why?"

"Is it a deep blue shirt?"

"How did you know?"

Connor sat next to her, lifted her hand, his voice exuding infinite tenderness: "Did you see the photo I sent you before?"

"I saw it."

"Was I handso?"

"Handso."

Connor laughed, "Good girl."

Natalie Niles was genuine in her words.

Honestly speaking, Connor’s looks are quite handso, but he used to never tidy himself, playing the role of a very low-key bodyguard focused on Harry Hunter’s safety, typically dressed humbly, his hair unmanaged, even his beard was left unchecked, allowing it to grow wildly.

She reached out to touch Connor’s chin. He must have shaved carefully this morning; his chin and lips only had very faint stubble.

He knows she can’t see, yet he still tidied himself up well.

He really cares about her.

Connor allowed her hand to explore his chin and cheeks and softly asked her, "Did you call over just to ask what color shirt I’m wearing?"

"Is that not okay?"

"It is okay, everything is okay, as long as you’re happy."

Connor kissed her fingers, "Do you like this color?"

"I like it."

"I thought you liked black and military green."

"I originally did."

"Then why change your preference?"

Natalie Niles paused.

Because, his eyes are deep blue.

When he looked at her with his deep blue eyes.

No one had ever looked at her like that.

Her fingers brushed over his brows and eyes, her voice very soft, "Connor..."
