"Why aren’t you eating?"
Johan Niles said, using the public chopsticks to get so at for him, placing it on his plate, "Don’t worry about , you go ahead and eat."
Lucas Chambers indeed started eating, exchanging food with Johan Niles, looking very close.
Connor sat there, suddenly feeling a bit unnecessary!
What was going on?
Clearly he had known Lucas Chambers for longer, and he was more familiar with Johan Niles, so how co these two, who just t, seed even closer than with him?
What happened last night?
A thought flashed through Connor’s mind, but he shook his head thinking it impossible, weren’t these two supposed to be straight as steel?
He was eating hot pot, watching a perfectly cooked piece of beef float up in the soup, when just as he reached his chopsticks out to grab it, Lucas Chambers snatched it away.
"Johan has surgery this afternoon, he’ll need a lot of energy, so he should eat more beef."
Connor glared at Lucas Chambers, "I have to go fight this afternoon, which is even more exhausting, why are you snatching my at?"
"What you’re doing isn’t serious business, plus you’re strong, missing one piece of at won’t matter. Johan is different, his health is weak, he’s saving lives, which is both physically and ntally demanding, so he needs the nutrition."

As much as what he said made sense, there was no way to argue back!
Johan couldn’t help but retort, "I’m not weak!"
He might not compare to the top-notch bodyguards and special forces n in front of him, but among ordinary people, he’s considered quite fit.
Lucas Chambers pinched his upper arm, "This soft, and you say you’re not weak? Feel mine, see how firm it is!"
Johan instinctively felt it, nodding involuntarily, "Indeed firm! Impressive!"
Connor couldn’t stand it anymore, putting down his food, "I’m going to the bathroom, you two can continue getting firm."
Johan Niles took a big gulp of Sprite, burped, "I’ll go too."
The two entered the bathroom one after the other, and Johan Niles imdiately sidled up to Connor, asking quietly, "How’s my sister?"
Connor glanced at him, so his mind was still clear!
He thought Johan Niles had gotten drunk on Sprite!
"The situation is stable, the fever has subsided, but she still can’t see."
"Looks like the bleeding from internal organs has stopped, my sister has a strong constitution and is recovering faster than usual, but her eyes need a couple more days of observation."
Johan Niles felt a slight relief, then turned to ask about Lucas Chambers, "Is he reliable? Why is he looking for my sister? What’s he up to?"
"He’s personally reliable, I just don’t know about the people above him. He definitely wasn’t here on his own accord, he was sent by soone above. In any case, we can’t let him take Natalie away, she went to such lengths, refusing to even go to the hospital, isn’t she hiding from everyone?"
Connor sighed inwardly, understanding more than anyone how much she disliked going to the special forces.
So even if Lucas Chambers was personally taking action, he wouldn’t expose Natalie Niles.
"Did my sister have lunch? Who’s taking care of her? Ruth?"
"No, Ruth’s been watched by Lucas Chambers’ people, I’m heading back now, you keep Lucas Chambers busy."
Johan Niles was slightly shocked, "He didn’t co alone?"

Lucas Chambers walked into the bathroom, frowning slightly, "You two have your heads stuck together, what are you mumbling about?"
