Connor glanced at Cora Ginger, his tone filled with rejection: "Didn’t I tell you not to just barge into my house?"
"I saw your door was open, so I ca in. You seem to never have the habit of locking your door."
Cora Ginger placed a bag of food on the table in his living room, contemplated for a mont, then carried the food into the kitchen, opened the refrigerator and put it inside.
As she turned around to co back out, she saw Connor stroking a pure black rabbit, and she unconsciously froze in her tracks.
He seed to be looking more handso and charming, she had originally thought he was good-looking in white shirt and black suit, but now seeing him in deep sea blue shirt, she realized that this color suited him even better, enhancing his charisma.
Yet, he completely ignored her presence, as if she was air, and only gently stroked the rabbit, as if it was a treasure.
Cora Ginger put on a smile, breaking the stiffness with her usual lively tone: "When did you get a rabbit? It’s so cute! Let see it!"
She said as she leaned beside Connor, trying to touch the little black rabbit.
Connor’s sharp gaze swept over: "Don’t touch it!"
Cora Ginger’s hand halted mid-air.
The grievance in her heart gradually surfaced. In the past, when she was here, she could touch anything, now she couldn’t even stroke his rabbit?
"Why are you so stingy, it’s just a rabbit, what harm does it do for to touch it?"
"If you like it, go buy one yourself. You can’t touch mine."
"I think this one is pretty nice, you might as well give it to !"
Connor suddenly felt a bit weary, for so reason.
He used to rather enjoy Cora Ginger’s antics, finding her lively, adorable, understanding, and occasionally a little capricious, which added so charm.
But now he found capriciousness very undesirable.
His Natalie was never capricious, she was patient, restrained, calm, and rational. He had only seen her indulge once, and that was when she called his na under him, saying she liked him.
"The rabbit belongs to my girlfriend."
Connor stood up with the rabbit in his arms, "You should leave now, don’t hold any fantasies, we cannot get back together, my heart and soul are hers now."
Cora Ginger’s tears burst out instantly, and she suddenly lunged at Connor, hugging him: "I was wrong, Connor! Can’t we start over? Natalie Niles isn’t a good person, she isn’t even on your side, your relationship isn’t that great! I’m apologizing, it was a montary lapse, it won’t happen again!"
Connor protected Little Black, afraid it would be squeezed by Cora Ginger, and pushed her aside, even his good temper was incited: "Our relationship is great! We’ve already slept together, she’s my woman, I’m her man!"
Cora Ginger shook her head desperately: "It’s okay, I don’t mind! I’ve seen plenty of one-night stands at the club, many n don’t have only one woman!"
Connor was both shocked and furious: "I mind! I’m not a one-night stand!"
"Don’t misunderstand , that’s not what I ant, I just want to tell you, it’s okay if you’ve slept with her, I can accept it, after all, I’m the one at fault first, consider it my punishnt."
Connor suddenly laughed, a bitter laugh: "Cora Ginger, you don’t really like , do you? At most, you have a slight fondness."
"I like you!"
"If you liked , you wouldn’t be indifferent about sleeping with another woman?"
Connor’s eyes were icy with anger: "I found out you slept with that Bao guy, and I was furious, I felt like killing soone!"
