Natalie Niles suddenly let go, and Connor fell back into the chair, but his gaze never left her.

He watched as she walked to the girl, grabbed her by the collar, and pulled her out of the eting room like a ragdoll, throwing her roughly into the hallway.

A scream rang out in the hallway: "You’re using violence against , I can sue you! This is intentional harm!"

She deliberately shouted loudly, making sure the whole hallway could hear, and the girls waiting for interviews in the waiting room all ca out to see.

The empty hallway quickly filled with won of various appearances.

Natalie Niles glanced around indifferently and said without much emotion, "The marriage selection is over. I’m Emtt Price’s fiancée, you can all leave."

"What?!"

"Who do you think you are, why is it you? I could say it’s ! We’ve all been waiting patiently to see Mr. Price, you’ll provoke public outrage with that arrogance!"

"Exactly, I’ve been waiting here for over an hour, and you tell to leave just like that? What makes you think you’re important enough to be taken seriously?"

"Mr. Price is very popular right now, and a good friend of Young Master Hunter, who wouldn’t want to be his fiancée? You’re so shaless to announce you’re his fiancée the mont you walk in!"

...

The hallway was noisy and chaotic, many won who had their eyes on Connor stepped forward to argue with Natalie Niles.

Natalie Niles coldly pulled out a gun and fired a shot.

The sharp, terrifying gunshot carried a dreadful impact, hitting the artisan crystal lamp overhead.

With a loud crash, the crystal lamp shattered into pieces, exploding outward.

"Ah!!!"

Screams erupted as the won covered their heads and fled in panic, terrified of being shot dead if they ran too slowly!

In an instant, the hallway was empty.

Natalie Niles nodded.

Good.

The obstacles were gone.

She put away the gun and turned around abruptly, crashing straight into Connor.

She gave a half-hearted smile: "Everyone’s gone, it seems Mr. Price has no choice but to choose ."

Connor, a head taller than her, looked down at her, his voice hoarse: "Didn’t you die? Who am I choosing? A ghost?"

"I should remind you, Emtt Price, you already lost yourself to in a bet before, even if I die, you can only be mine."

Natalie Niles maintained a composed deanor, as if discussing the weather.

"Stop looking at like you want to eat . If you dare hold another marriage selection behind my back, I won’t aim for the lights next ti!"

"So who will you shoot? ? Go ahead, shoot!"

Natalie Niles ignored his childish provocation, reaching out to touch his face, admiringly saying, "Turns out you look quite decent all tidied up. Your eyes are still deep blue, I never noticed before. Mixed race?"

"I don’t know."

Connor gritted his teeth, restraining himself from impulsively punching her in the face again.

She knew full well he was an orphan abandoned by his parents; he had no mory of what they looked like or who they were, how could he know what mixed races he was?!

She just liked to rub salt in the wound!

Her face still bore the bruises from his punches, sowhat pitiful, yet sohow... attractive.

No no no!

Emtt Price, you’ve gone mad!

What’s attractive about her?!

She’s hideous!

She’s the ugliest and most scheming woman in the world!

Don’t fall for it!

Yes, stay calm! Stay calm!

Connor took a deep breath, just cald himself down, and was struck again by one sentence from Natalie Niles.

"Connor, let’s get married!"
