Isabella Weaver stared at him in a daze. Did his reciprocation co this quickly?
When she was picking shrimp for him, she didn't actually expect him to give anything back, but now she felt very warm inside.
He looked so good, even peeling shrimp carried with it an innate nobility. A wealthy Young Master peeling shrimp for her by hand—Isabella had never dared to imagine this before. Actually, no one had ever peeled shrimp for her; this kind of privilege was a first.
"Don't just look at ; you won't get full that way."
Harry Hunter teased as he put a piece of shrimp in Isabella's bowl and said lightly, "Eat more, you're only nineteen and still growing."
"Thank you."
Isabella said softly and lowered her head to start eating the noodles.
The seafood noodles at this place were already delicious and fragrant, and now with so many shrimps added, Isabella ate with satisfaction and happiness.
Harry even paid the bill in advance, not allowing her to pay.
Until they finished eating and left the restaurant, Harry said sothing that shattered Isabella's happiness: "Let's go to my house this weekend to et the parents. We can't delay any longer!"
She finally ca to her senses, almost accidentally sold out by Harry!
She hurriedly said, "I have classes on the weekend and can't go!"
"I've already checked; you don't have classes on the weekend. Not only that, but you don't have classes today or tomorrow either."
So thorough with the checking?
Isabella beca a bit wary, feeling that this man did things too ticulously, and worried she might fall into a trap he set.
She changed the excuse: "I'm working a part-ti job on the weekend!"
"Royalton is already yours, what job do you need to work at?"
"I don't want Royalton, I've taken another part-ti job!"
"Then don't go first, just co ho with and we can discuss it later."
"No, I need to work to pay off the car loan!"
"I'll give you double, co with ."
"No, people should keep their word; I've already promised others."
"Triple!"
"Still no, this isn't about money, I..."
"Ten tis!"
"This..."
Isabella hesitated for only a second before nodding: "Deal!"
It's just going ho with him, what's the big deal? Hiring a girlfriend to go ho is very popular, after all. While it's not exactly a serious job, it's still a high-paying gig. As long as she doesn't actually marry Harry, it's fine.
Not making this much money would be really silly!
She's not soone particularly high and mighty.
Just thinking about her relationship with Harry as a financial transaction gives Isabella a special peace of mind.
What she fears most now is Harry telling her that he genuinely likes her.
As long as it doesn't involve emotions, everything's negotiable.
However, laughter flashed in Harry's eyes as he opened the car door and said in a gentlemanly yet indifferent manner, "My girlfriend, get in the car!"
"Where to? I have other things to do; maybe I shouldn't go?"
It's not to get a marriage certificate, right?
Isabella was already nervous and on edge because of him.
Harry seed to know what she was thinking, the laughter in his eyes growing stronger: "Not to get a certificate, just going to the mall to get you so outfits."
Isabella glanced at her faded jeans, her worn-out sneakers, and the black coat she'd worn for four years, and then at Harry's brand new, crisp suit, feeling deeply the financial gap between the two.
Is he trying to make her look presentable for his family?
Bringing a girlfriend ho should be respectable; her shabby outfit would embarrass him.
Isabella nodded and got in the car with him.
