Isabella Weaver opened it to find a pair of lustrous, translucent jade bracelets on red velvet.

Given her current work in the jewelry industry, she had developed a keen eye, and these bracelets were undeniably priceless!

"In the Hunter Family’s history, there was a scholar who ranked first in the imperial exams, and these are imperial-gifted bracelets. They are treasures that have been passed down for hundreds of years. I’m giving them to you now."

"Isn’t this...this is too valuable, isn’t it?"

Isabella couldn’t help but glance at Harry Hunter. She had given the old man just a small token, and here he was gifting sothing so weighty!

Harry nodded at her, "If Grandpa gives it, you have to take it. It’s worth so money."

As he spoke, he glanced at the old man; even he didn’t know about these treasures!

Just how many valuable things did the old man have hidden away?

Harry headed straight for the study, "You’re getting on in years now; why hoard so many treasures? Bring them all out; Isabella could use so valuable heirlooms."

Ben Hunter hurriedly stopped him, "There’s no more, just this one is the most valuable, the rest aren’t worth much!"

"I’m going to take a look."

Harry didn’t believe him, entered the study, took a careful look around, and picked out several items to give Isabella, "These are from Grandpa, take them."

Ben Hunter was a bit pained, but once they’d been given to Isabella, he couldn’t very well take them back.

After all, she wasn’t an outsider—a granddaughter-in-law of the family, understanding and filial, and they’re counting on her to continue the Hunter lineage!

"Just keep them, Isabella! Have dinner here tonight. I’ll have soone prepare it!"

Ben didn’t eat much, easy to accommodate. The dozens of servants in the house were mainly there for the old lady, who had been "missing" for a few days, leaving the servants idle.

With Isabella and Harry’s arrival, it was finally their ti to shine!

This was Isabella’s first visit to the old residence, and Ben eagerly played the tour guide, showing her around.

"See this wooden table? Harry used it for als as a child. He had a stubborn temperant and refused to eat with others, so I set up a table for him in the yard where he could eat in his own little world."

Harry’s expression darkened, "Who had a stubborn temperant? I have a great personality!"

Ben ignored him, warmly turning to Isabella, "Now that he’s willing to eat with you, it shows he truly cares for you. His temper is much better now. If he bullies you, just co back and find , and I’ll deal with him for you!"

Isabella chuckled softly, "Mr. Hunter, did you hear that? I have soone backing up!"

"Even without backup, I wouldn’t dare bully you. Grandpa worries too much!"

Beaming, Ben walked ahead. His grandson and granddaughter-in-law visiting made him feel ten years younger, briskly moving with energy!

He knew Harry wouldn’t have co by himself. Previously, no matter how many tis he called, Harry wouldn’t return. But since his marriage, he’s co ho more often.

This is all thanks to Isabella!

He pointed to another spot in the yard, "This punching bag, Harry used it when he was ten. It hasn’t been taken down, but it’s not usable now. Once you and Harry have kids, I’ll renovate this place for my great-grandchild to use!"

As he said this, he watched Isabella with so apprehension.

Isabella, not understanding, naturally nodded, "Alright, then Grandpa will have to work hard!"

Ben imdiately laughed heartily, "Great, great, Isabella is really sensible!"

Isabella looked at Harry in confusion, not understanding why the old man praised her.
