Johan Niles is a legitimate dical doctor with a Ph.D., not the quack Harry Hunter had described. He quickly treated Harry’s wound, carefully reminding him of a few things to watch out for, but seeing Harry indifferently putting on a shirt and not listening at all, he simply turned to give Isabella Weaver the instructions.
Isabella listened attentively, taking notes one by one, accepted the dicine he brought, and thanked him gratefully.
"Doctor Niles, have we t before?"
"Yes, I thought you might have forgotten. Every ti Young Master Hunter goes to Royalton for a drink, I’m there to accompany him!"
Isabella nodded. No wonder Johan Niles seed familiar. He was one of those in the group in the private room.
Actually, she wasn’t very good at rembering people, but Johan Niles had given Cora Ginger a red envelope, which left her with so impression.
Johan Niles packed up his dical kit and headed out.
Isabella went to see him off, and as she opened the door, she saw Cora and Connor returning with large bags of groceries.
Cora recognized Johan Niles imdiately, but she didn’t know his na. Standing there, she excitedly said, "Hey, you, you, you... you’re..."
Connor, behind her, chuckled and spoke up, "Doctor Niles, thank you for your hard work! Has Young Master been giving you a tough ti?"
"Yes!"
Johan Niles tossed his dical kit aside, pulled the obstructive Cora to one side, and threw his arms around Connor, wailing, "Young Master Hunter always bullies . Look, I’m all thin now! And his grandfather threatened a few days ago, insisting I must treat him exactly as he was before! I’m under so much pressure!"
Cora, trying to get his attention, stomped her foot in frustration, as Johan ignored her and pulled her aside.
Connor patted Johan Niles on the back, comforting him, "You’ll get used to it. Even my bonuses have been deducted by Young Master. At least you still receive a dical fee."
Harry Hunter’s cold voice suddenly interrupted, "Oh? You two don’t want to work anymore? You can get lost."
Johan Niles quickly stood at attention, and along with Connor, shouted in unison, "We won’t leave! Alive, we’re Young Master Hunter’s people; dead, we’re Young Master Hunter’s souls!"
"Hmm."
Harry nodded in satisfaction.
"Go make lunch. I’m hungry."
"Yes!"
Johan Niles and Connor responded and dashed into the kitchen.
Harry Hunter frowned, "Johan Niles, aren’t you leaving?"
"Young Master, the more the rrier. Isn’t it better to have an award-winning chef with excellent knife skills in the kitchen?"
Harry turned to Isabella, "What do you think?"
"Sure! Doctor Niles, even if you hadn’t said anything, I wanted to have you stay for a al. It’s livelier with more people. Let’s all eat together at noon; it looks like there’s enough food for five!"
Isabella smiled gently, keeping Johan Niles for the al.
Only then did Harry nod, "Okay."
Half an hour later, the kitchen was filled with the aroma of food.
Isabella tried to help several tis, but each ti she was shooed away.
Connor: "Young Madam, we have enough hands here. You and Young Master just chat outside and wait to eat."
Johan Niles: "Sister-in-law, don’t you trust ? My knife skills are top-notch; I’m the best chef in the dical world and the best doctor in the culinary one!"
Cora was more straightforward: "Isabella, even if both your hands were fine, I wouldn’t dare eat the food you make. You don’t even know how to use the gas, just wait outside. I’ll serve you!"
Isabella, not knowing whether to laugh or cry, had to obediently stay in the living room.
Harry lay back on the sofa, patting his thigh, "Honey, sit here."
Isabella playfully patted his thigh back, "Did you forget about your injury again?"
Wow, his leg is so firm and springy!
Feels great!
Isabella instinctively patted it again.
Harry suddenly tensed all his muscles!
