Harry saw her pause on the steps of the building from afar and couldn’t help but approach.

He stood on a step lower than Isabella, touched her head, and asked, "What’s wrong? Only two hours apart, you don’t recognize your husband anymore?"

He was so tall that even standing on a lower step, Isabella could barely see him at eye level.

His voice was deep and pleasant, intoxicating like the sound of a musical instrunt.

Isabella actually liked listening to him talk very much, but unfortunately, Harry wasn’t much of a talker.

"It’s not that I don’t recognize you; it’s that you’re too dazzling to acknowledge."

"Hmm. I thought during your interview at the jewelry company, maybe you fancied so young handso executive there and were ready to disavow ."

Isabella was amused yet exasperated: "I didn’t!"

Indeed, among the jewelry company’s interviewers, there were so handso executives, but who could compare to the man in front of her?

"As long as you didn’t, you better not. Got it? If you fancy anyone, I’ll make sure they go bankrupt."

Isabella had a look of helplessness on her face, too domineering! It wasn’t like he was always so autocratic, he even said divorce could be negotiated!

"Who wouldn’t I fancy, I’m already a married woman!" She raised her hand to flaunt the diamond ring, fully understanding why Harry didn’t want her to take off her wedding ring—he was just afraid she’d run off with soone else!

Harry was very satisfied with her answer. He took her hand and led her down the steps: "Madam, I’ve given you a ring, shouldn’t you give sothing in return? You’ve never given anything."

Isabella held his hand up, took a look: "Okay, I’ll go pick one for you. What kind do you like?"

"Anything you pick, I like."

Isabella laughed: "I’ve noticed you’re quite good at talking lately!"

"Am I?"

"Yes!"

"Do you like it?"

"It’s okay."

"The evaluation isn’t too high, seems I need to keep trying, buy a few more romance guides and read them."

"Did you learn all this from books?"

"No choice; no practical experience, had to read books."

"Haven’t you been in love before?"

"You an Cherry Lewis? No, madam, don’t wrong ; that wasn’t love, it was an alliance."

...

The two walked to the car, laughing and chatting. Harry protected Isabella’s head and helped her into the passenger seat, then walked around to the other side and sat in the driver’s seat.

Isabella sat there, and when she looked up, she saw the surrounding girls looking at her with envy or jealousy, and at the front of the crowd stood Gilly Scott in professional attire!

Gilly looked at her, shock written all over her face, her big eyes full of disbelief.

She saw Isabella look up at her and hesitated for a mont before quickly walking towards the sports car.

Isabella’s smile faded.

"Isabella, what are you looking at? Why haven’t you fastened your seatbelt?"

Harry leaned over to fasten Isabella’s seatbelt and, while returning, saw Gilly walking over.

He couldn’t help but frown; this betrayer was unforgettable to him, and her shalessness was almost at its peak.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

Gilly knocked on the car window under everyone’s attention, calling out in a familiar intimate tone, "Isabella, what a coincidence eting you here, are you here for an interview too?"

Isabella looked at her indifferently through the glass.

She was so foolish before to not see through her facade!

Before, every ti she was with Milo Field, she would "coincidentally" run into her, and then she would naturally chat warmly, get close, hug, and finally, end up in bed with Milo.
