Isabella Weaver was tidying her work uniform and scarf in front of the mirror in the workspace when she saw Gilly Scott, her expression turned a bit unsightly.
A few days ago, Gilly Scott often ca by, already so familiar with the place, Isabella hadn't expected her to have the nerve to show up after everything that happened.
"Get out!"
"Did you badmouth to Milo? Otherwise, he wouldn't be ignoring . We were fine just yesterday!"
Isabella turned her head: "Cora, call the security!"
Cora Ginger had seen Gilly Scott a few tis, but each encounter had been unpleasant. She really disliked Gilly and, hearing Isabella's call, she imdiately dashed out and soon returned with two burly security guards, shouting loudly, "What's with you security guys, letting just anyone in? This is a workspace, not a place for any Master Cat or Master Hound to co in at will, get her out!"
Gilly Scott was stunned with anger, but unlike Cora's domineering arrogance, her tone was gentle and full of grievance, "Cora Ginger, how can you curse at people? I'm Isabella's good friend, I'm here to see her, by insulting , aren't you insulting Isabella?"
Cora rolled her eyes and said to Isabella, "I'm not cursing you, Isabella, don't let her sow discord. This woman is really vicious, always stirring up trouble every ti she cos, making us all upset, hmph!"
"Security, take her out, she's not my friend anymore."
For the past month, Isabella Weaver and her partner Cora Ginger's relationship had been erratic, mainly because of Gilly Scott.
Every ti she visited, she stirred things up, and once she left, Isabella would be the one taking the bla.
"Isabella, you can't do this, can't I admit I'm wrong? We've been good friends for so many years, let's talk it out slowly, don't let an outsider drive a wedge between us..."
Isabella didn't want to hear a single word more, let alone see her face: "Security, take her out, don't let her in again!"
Security, having received affirmative confirmation, dutifully took her away.
Cora Ginger was elated, like she had just won a battle, and went to hug Isabella Weaver: "Ah, I finally beat her this ti. Isabella, why didn't you speak up for her? Hahaha, did you see how awful her face looked? So satisfying!"
Isabella Weaver was hugged, her whole body stiffened.
From yesterday to now, no one knew what she had been through, she kept all the pain and sorrow buried deep inside, and no one gave her warmth.
Cora Ginger's hug almost brought her to tears.
She clung tightly to Cora, her voice slightly hoarse, "Cora, thank you."
Cora didn't notice Isabella's emotions, she was still joyfully like a child: "Thank for what? If it weren't for your sake, I would've cursed her a hundred tis. She won't be coming again, will she? You're not friends with her anymore, right? Ah, that's great!"
"Mm, not friends anymore."
"Why, though? You used to treat her like family, I thought you'd never be apart from her! I've told you several tis, but you never listened!"
Isabella hesitated for a mont but then gave a brief explanation, "She did sothing unforgivable to ."
"Ah? Did she steal your boyfriend?"
Isabella instantly pushed her away, eyes filled with surprise: "How did you know?"
"Oh, I guessed, it's such an easy guess! Besides, if I'm not wrong, that Milo Field you both always ntion, he's your boyfriend, right? I always suspected that Gilly liked him!"
