14:20.

On the rooftop, Fang Huai held his cell phone with a mysterious air, looking around as though waiting for Sir Huang to show up.

"Good."

"Yes... Holding on for half a year, determined to redeem himself in the Martial Arts Competition, truly hasn’t been easy."

"Mhm, I will definitely perform well."

"Good, thank you, Chief of Staff."

After hanging up the phone, Fang Huai’s smile was harder to suppress than an AK.

He sighed heavily, shook his head, and as he walked downstairs, he muttered to himself with a tinge of flair, "I used to be scheming (choosing), but now, I want to be a good person."

Cao Yi’s voice suddenly filled the corridor.

"Squad leader on duty! Assemble downstairs!"

"Joo~ Joo Joo!"

"Assemble downstairs!"

As Fang Huai descended, Cao Yi was already standing in front of the formation.

"Oh? You’re making the announcent?" Fang Huai asked with a smile.

But Cao Yi seed not to be in the mood for jokes. He waved at him, motioning him to join the formation.

Fang Huai’s heart suddenly felt heavy, realizing sothing might have happened, and he quickly stepped into the formation.

"Hurry up!"

Cao Yi urged those still inside the building, and everyone’s movents quickened.

The squad quickly ford up.

Cao Yi then said with a stern face, "Diving equipnt, who knows how to use it?"

The Special Duty team had not yet undergone formal diving training. When the diving equipnt was distributed, they were taught for a while, but it wasn’t professional.

Fang Huai imdiately raised his hand, ", He Zhijun, Lian Xu!"

He Zhijun and Lian Xu both nodded.

Others who only half-understood the gear also raised their hands, but seeing Fang Huai raising his hand and even recomnding two others, they put their hands down.

They didn’t know if they were professional enough, but they were certainly not as skilled as Fang Huai.

This guy, if he learned sothing, would definitely be more professional than they were.

Seeing this, Cao Yi breathed a sigh of relief.

The whole corps didn’t reach out to the First Squadron but called them instead, showing they had hopes for the Second Squadron, even though their Rescue Sub-team was just being ford. If they couldn’t even speak up, they’d lose face big ti.

"At Wanfeng Lake in Southwest Guizhou, soone drowned last night, and has not been found yet. The whole corps called to ask if we could reinforce. The waters are quite turbulent. You three, are you confident?"

"Yes!" The three replied in unison.

"Good! Prepare the diving equipnt, ready to move out! Get Number 2 vehicle prepared, and I’ll notify the Detachnt not to send us for ergency rescue."

At Cao Yi’s command, Fang Huai imdiately responded,

"You should talk to the First Squadron first, get their set of diving equipnt over here as well, and also ask Old Teacher He if he can scrounge up another set. It would be best if it’s the sa OC type of diving equipnt that we use."

Cao Yi frowned.

"OC? You have requirents for the brand of diving equipnt you learned with?"

Fang Huai couldn’t help laughing, "OC isn’t a brand! It’s a type of classification for diving equipnt! OC and CCR, one is open circuit and the other is closed circuit. We’ve used both! But our OC equipnt’s oxygen connection is fully compatible with our own positive pressure air cylinders!

Moreover, the CCR breathing system uses pure oxygen and diluent gas from tanks, and if you’re not careful, the oxygen content can easily beco too high.

Plus, the oxygen content in the air in Guizhou is naturally low, and we are all accustod to it here. Prolonged exposure to high oxygen levels could significantly increase the risk of oxygen toxicity, you understand?"

CCR diving equipnt is indeed more professional. Since it is closed-circuit, it’s more comfortable than the OC type, with inhalation and exhalation all happening within tubes that stay moist, reducing the risk of dehydration, and there are no bubbles, which is what special forces frogn use.

OC, on the other hand, is basically a scuba, where air has to be expelled, not suitable for long dives, but with a lower failure rate.

Also, for long-term search and rescue, the first consideration is the oxygen supply; firefighting air cylinders can be readily supplied by any fire brigade.

After the explanation, everyone around listened with respect and envy.

From the way he spoke, it was clear that the three who had been trained had all undergone professional diving training.

Cao Yi, hearing this, also beca energized.

"Alright, I’ll get in contact now!"

Fang Huai turned and began to direct, "Get a few people to the backyard to take all of our spare oxygen cylinders, fill them above 28 gapascals, and load them onto Number 2 vehicle! Chen Gong, you take Wang Peng to load all the salvage equipnt onto the vehicle; you’re preparing to go with us!"

Chen Gong, the Equipnt Technician, would be an asset on shore to help with the equipnt, saving ti on communication.

"Got it! Wang Peng, with !"

Everyone began to prepare their gear.

It was rushed but not chaotic.

They all knew, the person who went missing last night was most likely gone; heading out there ant retrieving a body.

Soon, Cao Yi shouted, "Got it! We’ve got the sa type of diving gear on the way!"

Only then did Fang Huai turn back, approaching Cao Yi to quietly ask,

"Who fell in? Why all this fuss?"

Ordinarily, soone falling into a river wouldn’t necessitate summoning help from the provincial city.

Cao Yi covered his mouth with his hand and said, "I called again to ask, it’s soone from around here who went down for an inspection. Not a bigwig, but the family has already been there for half a day, making a scene, crying and shouting, even wanting to find reporters. They’re asking why the locals invited her husband to dine at Wanfeng Lake, and since the locals are desperate, they asked for help from the Southwest Guizhou Detachnt. They’ve been searching for half a day without success and are a bit stumped, so they sent a report up to the whole corps."

"Oh..." Fang Huai suddenly understood.

Wanfeng Lake was a famous scenic spot which he had visited in his previous life. Very beautiful indeed. For soone coming down for inspection, it was common courtesy to be treated to the scenery and a al with so drinks.
