98 On her Trail

The difference was that Lu Ning still had to commute between her part-ti job and the hospital at noon and in the evening, whereas Huo Jinyan was able to take a break during this ti.

Lu Qing was standing at the back, looking at the thin clothes she was wearing. He did not say anything, but simply took off his coat and covered her with it.
Lu Ning glanced at him, not moving an inch. She did not want Shen Yunci and Lu Zhi to worry, so she accommodated Lu Qing and gave him this opportunity to show concern for his sister in front of their parents.
Shen Yunci could not contain a chuckle when she saw him like this. While she did not say anything, she felt that it was a good thing that he was coming to understand her.
