After eating, Lu Ning leaned back on the sofa and lay on her side.
Gu Zi was clearing the table while Gu Chen went to get a blanket to cover her. He even leaned closer and told her softly, “Sleep if you want, I’ll wake you up when it’s ti.”
Lu Ning nodded, and really closed her eyes.
Huo Jinyan watched their every move and could not help but turn to look at Lu Ning.
Her back was facing him, and she was curled up quietly.
Gu Zi suddenly appeared in front of him. “What are you looking at?”
He did not look happy, but he still lowered his voice for fear of disturbing Lu Ning.

Gu Zi looked at him and rolled his eyes.
“Don’t even think about hitting on my baby, do you hear !?”

Huo Jinyan stood up and gently held Lu Ning’s head and adjusted her posture, letting her lie flat on the sofa.
She seed to be extrely sleepy and had already fallen asleep. She did not notice that soone was touching her at all, nor did she notice the tense atmosphere in the air.
Huo Jinyan looked at Gu Zi. “Nothing.”
Then, he turned around and left, a aningful smile on his lips.
Gu Zi was incensed.
“What does he an?! Did he hug our baby just now?! And what are you laughing at?! Aren’t you going to do sothing?!”
Gu Chen looked at him. “Keep making so much noise, and you’ll probably wake Ning’ning up.”
Gu Zi cast a quick glance at the sofa and imdiately shut up.
Gu Chen waved at him. “Co here. I have sothing to tell you.”

Lu Ning was woken up by Gu Chen.
After getting up, she drank a glass of water and walked out.
When she reached the entrance of the school building, she looked up in a daze and saw a familiar person.
