Chapter 74: Chapter 074: Thank You Chapter 74: Chapter 074: Thank You Shen Yan didn’t stay in Jin City.

The next day, Liu Su booked her a flight back.

On the plane.

Liu Su kept glancing at Shen Yan, who was resting, wanting to ask about the man who had brought her back in the middle of the night, but he swallowed his words each ti.

A few hours later.

Shen City.

Qi Si’s villa.

“Miss Shen, a package from country F!” The servant pointed at the large overseas express package in the living room as soon as Shen Yan walked in.

Liu Su couldn’t help but look as well.

It really was airlifted from country F, the tistamp on it showed it had arrived several days ago.

Shen Yan had flown straight to Jin City after recording a survival show and only ca back today.

She suddenly rembered about the local products she had asked Qi Si to bring when she heard the servant ntion the package.

“Is he abroad?” Shen Yan turned to Liu Su.

Liu Su, happy that Qi Si had finally got it right, nodded, “Didn’t I ntion to Miss Shen that the Mister was abroad?”

Shen Yan raised her eyebrows slightly.

“Quickly, open it and see what Mister sent back for Miss Shen!” No need to ask, it was definitely sent by Qi Si.

Shen Yan imdiately opened the several large boxes.

The first box.

Top-grade wine from country F.

The second box.

More wine from country F.

The third box.

Still wine.

No need to open the rest, all wine.

Shen Yan: “…”

Where exactly did she seem like a drunkard?

Liu Su covered his face, unable to look.

He would have preferred it if Qi Si hadn’t sent anything back.

*

Shen Yan had the servant store the several large boxes of wine in the cellar, waiting for Qi Si to co back and drink himself to death.

Liu Su, frustrated beyond words, had the servants quickly move them away; they were too much of an eyesore.

“Miss Shen, Tao Rong was taken away by the authorities yesterday. So matters require a thorough investigation,” Liu Su quickly found another topic to divert Shen Yan from the boxes of wine.

“Uh-huh.”

With so many explosive secrets, who else if not him should be investigated?

It was expected.

“The ‘Stratagem Sage’ crew won’t be shooting your scenes for another couple of days…”

“Xinyu has acting classes, right?” said Shen Yan, “I’ll head there later.”

Liu Su checked his phone and said, “At this ti, the classes are just about over, but, there’s another session in the evening.”

“Then I’ll go in the evening,” she wasn’t worried about her acting skills, but a little more learning couldn’t hurt.

“I’ll let Xinyu know!” Liu Su hoped Shen Yan would take so ti to rest.

*

Shen Yan turned and sent Qi Si a ssage.

“Thanks a lot.”

For treating her like a drunkard.

Elsewhere.

Early morning.

Qi Si usually slept little and woke up early.

Once awake, he found it hard to fall asleep again.

This was a lifelong habit that couldn’t be changed or cured.

About to shower, he saw the screen of his phone light up in the dark. He glanced at it and saw the na that had been appearing frequently lately.

Shen Yan.

Upon opening it, he saw her thanks.

After a brief thought, he knew what she was thanking him for.

He simply replied with a “hmm.”

Taking a cold shower, Qi Si couldn’t help but feel that his “thank you” wasn’t quite right.

Shen Yan held her phone, staring blankly at the “hmm” on the screen.

Such people as Qi Si indeed didn’t understand that kind of humor.

*

At seven o’clock in the evening.

Star Language dia.

Due to the Tao Rongye incident, Shen Yan had been involved and swept into the storm.

Then ca Wen Yan’s concert, keeping Shen Yan’s popularity on the rise; artists at Star Language dia were taken aback to see her during the company performance class.

The artists only whispered among themselves, not daring to approach her.

Upon entering the room, Shen Yan didn’t make any unnecessary movents and did not engage in conversation with others.

Though in the sa company, they were not acquainted.

Many were seeing her in person for the first ti.

The acting class teacher glanced at Shen Yan and then continued with the lesson.

The teacher was willing to teach students who wanted to learn acting.

The entertainnt industry had reached a point where anyone with popularity could enter.

People without any acting skills dared take on roles.

What resulted was simply unwatchable.

The teacher didn’t evaluate what Shen Yan was like.

Coming to learn acting was considered a bit of progress.

After one acting class, Shen Yan had indeed learned quite a bit and indicated she would return tomorrow.

Shen Yan had a company car to pick her up. After the class, she left the company using a back passage, but sohow there was a lapse in the security here.

Just as Shen Yan was about to get into the car, suddenly a figure darted out in front.

The driver was startled.

Luckily, the person only blocked Shen Yan and didn’t do anything rash.

“Shen Yan, catching you isn’t easy,” Xu Zishen stared at Shen Yan with a fierce gaze.

Shen Yan indicated to the driver not to co over as she could handle it, “Is there sothing?”

Since appearing on the reality show, Xu Zishen had disappeared for many days.

Seeing him now, he looked completely worn out, a far cry from his bright and ambitious self.

“Rejected by everyone, burdened with massive debts, even Li Zhekun has given up on . Are you satisfied now?” Xu Zishen seed a bit off, as if he could harm Shen Yan any mont.

Shen Yan spoke softly, “So, you think it’s my fault that you ended up like this?”

“Isn’t it you? The content on the mobile, it’s your doing, right?” Xu Zishen suddenly beca agitated. “I just wanted to ride on the CP trend, it didn’t harm you in any way. Shen Yan, you’re really cruel, crippling with your actions.”

“It wasn’t just about looping a CP; in your eyes, I saw a man’s desire,” Shen Yan’s calm voice echoed in the garage.

Though not loud, it made Xu Zishen stiffen.

“You always do this, finding excuses for the cris you’re about to commit. Had this not been thwarted and if I was just a simple village girl, wouldn’t I already be tied to your bed?”

Her voice unflinching, Shen Yan’s words heavily weighed on Xu Zishen, preventing him from raising his head.

Xu Zishen clenched his fists: “None of that happened, what male desire? You’re just looking for a justification for hurting . Dare you say, to get where you are today, you’ve never utilized your attributes? Being beautiful, young, continuously having resources – you exchanged your values for those, right? Won have it good, only needing to offer so little to gain so much.”

Looking at him, Shen Yan’s gaze resembled one looking at a naive child. “You harbor quite a bit of malice towards won.”

“Shen Yan, give everything back,” Xu Zishen took a few steps forward, looking sowhat crazed.

The driver no longer heeded Shen Yan’s previous instruction and pinned the assailant to the ground before calling the police.

Upon hearing the driver call the police, Xu Zishen’s expression changed. He struggled fiercely to break free from the driver, ran forward then turned back to glare at Shen Yan before disappearing from her sight.

“Don’t bother,” Shen Yan stopped the driver who seed ready to give chase.

“What he said to Miss Shen was appalling,” the driver couldn’t believe that Shen Yan could endure to such an extent.

“He’s just indulging his mouth, a re paper tiger. Why bother?” A few words won’t harm her, but Xu Zishen showing up let her witness his disgrace.

This was also a humiliation he brought upon himself.

Driver: ???

As their car left Xingyu Garage, passing another vehicle parked behind, Shen Yan slightly turned her eyes, her indifference casting a glance through the car window.

Dai Qiu, as if feeling an actual piercing chill, shivered inside the car.

He had been watching when Xu Zishen entered Xinyu Garage, curious to see how Shen Yan would handle the situation without stopping him.

That mont just now.

Dai Qiu began to wonder if Shen Yan already knew he had let the man in.

He sowhat regretted his action.
