Chapter 441: Chapter 436: The Fight Begins!
“Mrs. Shen.”
“Young Master Zhai is here too,” Gu Ting said with a sarcastic tone, “I heard that the Zhai Family was bullying others here, so I ca to check it out. My brother-in-law is known for his good temper, yet even he got angry, so it’s clear that this matter is serious.”
Zhai Hongshen’s brow furrowed even more. Hearing Gu Ting speak this way, he understood they were not going to let it go easily. If they could just take a step back and let it be, but now with Gu Ting here and talking in such a tone, Zhai Hongshen and Du Yundan knew this was going to be difficult.
“Mrs. Shen, there may be so misunderstanding here. Shall we go inside and understand the situation better?”
“There’s no need. I’ve already found out what happened on the way here. It was not but so arrogant words from your Zhai Family mocking our Yanyan that upset my brother-in-law, who responded with a couple of sentences. Yet, your Zhai Family mbers didn’t show any restraint and threw out several even nastier words.”
The smile on Gu Ting’s face beca even more mocking.
Now looking at the Zhai Family mbers, she felt it dirtied her eyes.
If Zhai Hongshen wasn’t a good friend of Qi Si, she wouldn’t even bother to give face.
A bunch of prominent n gossiping about a junior behind his back, the Zhai Family is nothing special after all.
Zhai Hongshen frowned even more, turning his gaze to Du Yundan.
Du Yundan shook his head, indicating it wasn’t as exaggerating as Gu Ting claid.
“We should really go in and resolve the conflict between our families, Mrs. Shen, please.”
Zhai Hongshen still gentlemanly, gestured for Gu Ting, the elder, to enter first.
Du Yundan wanted to follow in but was stopped by Zhai Hongshen, “There’s no need for you to get involved any further.”
“If you can’t resolve it, feel free to call over at any ti. Maybe an outsider like could help ease so tensions.”
Zhai Hongshen slightly shook his head: “Go back, you shouldn’t interfere anymore.”
Seeing this, Du Yundan left, resigned.

Inside the courtyard restaurant, the police had already understood the situation. Looking at the people from both families, they frowned.
This wasn’t sothing ordinary officers could handle; it was best to let them resolve it themselves.
Zhai Hongshen spoke with the officers and then proposed so conciliatory words, indicating that the families would resolve the issue privately.
The officers, also unsure how to deal with such a tricky situation, took Zhai Hongshen’s cue to say a few words to both families and left.
However, no sooner had the officers withdrawn than trouble broke out here.
A few disagreeable words led to a fight, and no matter how loudly Zhai Hongshen shouted, he couldn’t stop it. Soone pushed Gu Ting, causing her to crash into the table behind her with unfinished als.
Shen Rong saw his sister-in-law pushed down and turned pale with fury— even a gentle person was now enraged!
And then the situation spiraled out of control!
Du Yundan hadn’t gone far when he received a call from the restaurant’s general manager. Du Yundan hurried over and was shocked to see the fighting scene inside!
Gu Ting was furious. She stood up from a pile of greasy ss, grabbed a porcelain bowl, and hurled it at the head of the nearest Zhai Family mber.
The sight of bloodied heads greatly intensified the anger on the other side.
Shen Rong imdiately pulled Gu Ting behind him and with a kick sent the attacker flying, preventing them from brutally assaulting Gu Ting.
“Stop it, everyone stop,” Zhai Hong Shen deftly broke up the fight, only to feel his temples throbbing fiercely as the two he had just separated began fighting again after he turned around!

Half an hour later.
At a certain police station.
The chief, while dealing with a headache, was speaking with a young man who ca forward to help handle the situation.
Because both groups involved were high-status individuals in Beijing, any misstep in handling the situation could lead to trouble.
As it happened, Ouyang Lin, who was just passing by the police station to pick sothing up, ca across the incident. With the night shift short-staffed, Ouyang Lin’s temporary assistance beca unavoidable.
“I’ll be going now.”
Ouyang Lin gave a faint glance inside and left without looking back.
Standing a bit further in, Zhai Hong Shen stared at Ouyang Lin’s retreating figure for a long while before turning away.
The man had gone inside and swiftly broken up the fiercest of the fighters, as if he were very skilled in handling such incidents.
Zhai Hong Shen simply took a few more looks at this outstanding officer, without any further thoughts.
It was normal to have such exceptional individuals among the police officers.
“They from the Zhai Family were the ones who started it, officer, we were just defending ourselves,” Gu Ting, pale-faced, pointed at the Zhai Family mbers on the other side.
The Zhai Family, not taking kindly to being pre-emptively accused by Gu Ting, had one person with a bloodied head scratch at his wound, “Officer, this woman was the one who struck first, look at my head, it’s been cracked open.”
“Pah! Serves you right for bullying a woman. If I hadn’t stepped in, I would have been pinned down and beaten to death by this scumbag. So I was acting in self-defense, the main fault lies with them, the Zhai Family!” Gu Ting was so angry his face turned red and his neck swelled.
“Gu Ting, have you no sha, I didn’t even touch you.”
“Yes, you didn’t touch , you wanted to step on to death.” Gu Ting slamd the table as he stood up, pointing at the Zhai Family mbers, “This matter today won’t end like this. The Zhai Family first sent people to assassinate my daughter, then slandered her, and now they co to bully our Shen Family mbers. If our Shen Family continues to endure, the Zhai Family will be bringing knives to our door to chop us up…”
“Gu Ting, you’re distorting the truth!”
“Bang, bang, bang!”
The officer slamd the table, his face looking very unpleased as he shouted, “Enough! Both sides are at fault in this incident! None of those involved in the brawl will escape!”
Seeing the officer get angry, both sides grew sullen, grinding their teeth and glaring at each other with mutual loathing as the officer’s headache intensified!

Qi Si hadn’t finished his work at hand when he received a call from Beijing. Listening to the detailed account, his handso face grew somber.
“I understand, send soone to the police station and say it’s on my authority.”
The person on the other end agreed and went off to handle it.
Qi Si put down his phone with a twist of his brow.
This was the first ti the Shen Family and the Zhai Family had clashed so severely.
Qi Si picked up his phone again, opening Shen Yan’s contact number, but ultimately decided not to call.
Best to confirm the Shen Family’s situation first.
After this call, Qi Si had no desire to continue working and decided to end his day early and head back.
anwhile, the two families from Beijing continued their relentless dispute, but as soon as Qi Family’s people arrived, the scene imdiately quieted down.
