Chapter 406: Chapter 401: Where do you want to go? Chapter 406: Chapter 401: Where do you want to go? “Where do you want to go?”

Qi Si questioned coldly.

Shen Yan, burrowed in his embrace, shook her head and said hoarsely, “I wasn’t thinking of going anywhere.”

“I’m here, and you’re not allowed to go anywhere.” Qi Si hugged the person in his arms even tighter, afraid that if she pulled away, she would disappear from his sight.

Shen Yan humd, “Mr. Qi has beco domineering.”

The next second, her head was held down.

“You shouldn’t do such dangerous things,” Qi Si kissed the person he’d regained over and over.

“Mr. Qi, my hair is dirty…” It slled of blood.

Qi Si did not care at all.

After Shen Yan perford that terrifying act and then vanished before his eyes, he was forced to face a reality!

Shen Yan could disappear from his life!

This thought, like a shadow of fear, weighed heavy on his heart. Even holding her couldn’t dispel it one bit.

Because he knew that if she wanted to, he could never find her.

“Listen to , Shen Yan, don’t think about running away from .”

He squeezed her tightly, almost to the point of molding her into his flesh and bones.

Shen Yan forced a smile, “I’ll be wherever Mr. Qi is. All of belongs to you already. Where could I possibly run?”

Yes.

She couldn’t escape.

The mont she silently consented to be his, she no longer had the courage to run away.

Shen Yan’s words did not soothe Qi Si’s unease.

What did it matter if she was his; if her heart wasn’t fully with him, she could leave at any ti.

Holding her, Qi Si rested his chin on top of her head, his eyes dark and deep, gazing into the distance.

If she wanted to escape, he would use every ans to keep her by his side!

To make her heart only dwell on him.

It was only after a long while that Shen Yan was released, and Qi Si began to check her wounds, “First, let’s go get your injuries treated.”

Shen Yan t his deep gaze and sowhat evasively agreed, “Okay.”

She didn’t know if Qi Si had any suspicions; she could only deceive herself into believing that Qi Si knew nothing, that they could continue as before.

Shen Yan beca like an ostrich, hiding her true self away.

If Qi Si didn’t ask, it ant he hadn’t seen it, hadn’t suspected anything.

*

Inside the car.

“Those people…” Shen Yan looked back towards the endless plains, sowhat worried, wanting clarity on how those people were dealt with.

“I’ve already arranged for people to clean up thoroughly, no traces will be left,” what he ant was no traces whatsoever.

Shen Yan’s heart contracted slightly, wanting to ask if he had any suspicions, but she swallowed the words before they left her mouth.

She resolved not to ask anything related to the matter.

Qi Si’s hand landed on Shen Yan’s head, gently stroking, the warmth of his palm calming her restless heart.

“Mr. Qi.”

Qi Si raised his finger to wipe away the dirt on her cheek, his eyes gentle, “I’m fine.”

That wasn’t what she intended to ask.

Qi Si poured her a cup of water, “Drink this and rest a bit, we’ll soon be at our destination.”

Shen Yan silently took the water and began to drink.

The atmosphere inside the car turned sowhat tense. Shen Yan, holding the cup, sat speechlessly in a daze, until the cup was taken from her hands, which made her look up in bewildernt.

Qi Si’s handso brows were slightly furrowed as he reached out and held her slightly chilled hand, “Does your wound hurt?”

Shen Yan, sowhat in a daze, shook her head.

Shen Yan, who had always been alone licking her wounds after a fight, had soone by her side for the first ti.

The warmth was so beautiful it made her want to cry.

“Just hold on a little longer, we’re almost there,” Qi Si urged the driver to speed up.

Shen Yan looked at the large hand gripping hers, her throat tightened, and she leaned her head against him.

Qi Si placed his other hand on her back, carefully soothing her, “It doesn’t hurt anymore, it will stop hurting soon.”

Hearing Qi Si’s sowhat rigid voice, like he was coaxing a child, Shen Yan felt the urge to laugh.

She wanted to say she didn’t hurt at all, she had never felt such warmth before!

*

Hospital.

The doctor examined the injuries on Shen Yan’s body, gave Qi Si a suspicious look, and then turned back to stare at Shen Yan with eyes that were a bit too straightforward, making Qi Si instantly displeased.

He blocked the view, “I’ll apply the dicine for her.”

The doctor felt the dangerous gaze from the man and hastily retracted his scrutiny of Shen Yan, “So of her wounds are deep, and since her skin is fair, they might leave scars.”

Qi Si stared coldly at the doctor.

The doctor shivered, swallowed his saliva, and said dryly, “You can take care of her just as well at ho with the proper dication.”

“Prescribe the dicine,” Qi Si said in a cold tone.

The doctor hurriedly prescribed a good amount of dication to send this intimidating man on his way.

Once they had left, the doctor murmured to himself, “She really looks like that celebrity.”

*

“Mr. Qi, are you angry?” Holding the dicine on the way back to the hotel, Shen Yan looked at Qi Si carefully treating her wound and asked softly.

“No,” Qi Si’s voice was sowhat stiff.

Shen Yan saw him about to remove her top and stopped him, “Mr. Qi, I can do it myself.”

“Can you reach the wounds on your back?” Qi Si stopped her movents, carefully undressed her, and frowned at the injuries on her back.

Her back had various wounds, so deep, which were quite shocking to see.

Feeling the person beside her staring for a long ti without moving, Shen Yan caught his clothes and said softly, “It doesn’t hurt, Mr. Qi, you don’t have to be so careful.”

Qi Si treated her wounds without a word, and his gaze swept over so old scars, darkening.

He never asked about the other wounds.

*

After the dicine was applied, Shen Yan lay quietly in bed. Qi Si was no longer in the room, but she still didn’t dare to disobey his wishes and get up.

Unconsciously, Shen Yan fell asleep.

She didn’t know how long she had slept when she faintly felt soone gently touching her, then carefully shifting her to a more comfortable position, allowing her to sleep more soundly.

When Shen Yan opened her eyes, it was already the next morning.

Qi Si brought in a nutritious breakfast, “You’re awake.”

Shen Yan was helped up by Qi Si, “Does it still hurt anywhere?”

“It’s much better,” Shen Yan sat up following his movent.

“Can you get down?” Qi Si asked, already lifting her horizontally to take her to the bathroom.

Shen Yan quickly said, “I can walk!”

Qi Si stopped and looked at her for a while before slowly putting her down and helping her put on her slippers, “Be careful.”

Shen Yan responded quietly and then went into the bathroom.

Qi Si was being overly careful, which made her wonder if she was being treated like a porcelain doll.

Shen Yan stared at herself in the mirror, her complexion was not too bad, just slightly pale. While brushing her teeth, she heard Qi Si on the phone with soone outside. She listened in.

“This ti it’s just a warning… clear the traces…” Qi Si’s tone was ice-cold, without a trace of warmth.

Shen Yan was stunned for a mont and wanted to find her phone, but realized she had left it by the bedside and didn’t take it; she continued brushing her teeth.

At this mont in Beijing’s hospital, there was so chaos.

He Group Leader and the others stood in the hospital corridor, watching as a cold-faced Jian Yu rushed over, “How is Xiao Feng’s condition?”

She didn’t ask how Shen Feng was injured, but rather the extent of his injuries.

Everyone failed to notice the oddity in this, simply replying they weren’t sure, but Shen Feng had an accident, lost a lot of blood, and was unconscious when brought in.
