The two-hour recording unknowingly reached its end.

The host looked at the reluctant audience below the stage, "It’s ti to say goodbye. I know it’s hard for everyone to part, just like it is for . But tomorrow we will et again. Just tune into the national channel at the right ti, and you’ll see the faces you want to see."

"At eight o’clock sharp!"

"That’s right. Besides, I just received a delightful surprise. Lin Yan, the singer of the ending the song for ’The Empress of Yuan Zhao’, happens to be here and available. Now, let us welco Lin Yan to deliver ’Wishes Across a Thousand Years’ for everyone."

As the words fell, a beam of light spread onto the stage.

A young man in casual black clothing appeared in the light, holding a black microphone.

This ti, the music was just accompanint, after all, the original singer was right there.

"This segnt wasn’t in the script. Isn’t this person supposed to be rehearsing for the Spring Festival Gala? How did he end up on our little show?"

"I have no idea."

If the audience was pleasantly surprised at this mont, the guests who were about to leave the stage were surely astonished.

The small talk among them lasted only a mont before they, along with the audience, imrsed themselves in the singing.

After all, opportunities to hear Lin Yan sing live are rare. He’s famously known for not liking variety shows, except for the Spring Festival Gala invitation, other than that, you can only hear him at his annual concerts.

And they really don’t have much ti to attend those concerts.

As the song ended, Lin Yan looked toward the corner of the stage where the guests were seated, "A song ’Wishes Across a Thousand Years’, dedicated to the Empress of Yuan Zhao."

Everyone thought he was dedicating the song to the show ’The Empress of Yuan Zhao’. After all, the song was specifically composed for it, so saying so was fitting.

Only Wei Minmin, who was sitting next to Jiang Lingxi, sensed sothing different.

Why did it seem like Lin Yan was not actually looking at ’these’ guests, but just at the person beside her?

After all, wasn’t the character played by her in the drama the Empress of Yuan Zhao!

But with that, the show ca to a perfect conclusion.

The lights on the stage disappeared, and the person standing under them also quietly slipped away, making it impossible for her to explore further.

Shen Yunqing waited for Jiang Lingxi to finish removing her makeup and co out.

"Today, I was questioned by your fan."

"Hmm?"

"The girl sitting next to is your big fan, and she questioned for being a fake fan. I was nearly investigated, no, vetted for my fandom."

Jiang Lingxi tried to hold back but couldn’t help laughing.

After she finished laughing, Shen Yunqing said, "The Lin Yan who suddenly went on stage to sing at the end seems to be your fan too."

Jiang Lingxi thought for a bit, "Really? How could you tell? He’s a popular singer, and he beca famous even before I did."

"I heard it in his song. He might be a fan of the historical Empress of Yuan Zhao, but..."

The Empress of Yuan Zhao is also Jiang Lingxi!

"Seems like my fans span across millennia," Jiang Lingxi boasted lightly, "That’s quite sothing to be happy about."

Shen Yunqing: "...As long as you’re happy."

Wei Minmin suddenly popped out from behind, "I thought the audience looked familiar, and it turns out it really is Mr. Shen. My uncle has already reserved a room at the hotel across the street. We’re heading there for dinner before parting, why don’t you join us, Mr. Shen?"

Jiang Lingxi: "Go ahead, a little private gathering won’t hurt."

Shen Yunqing nodded.

Wei Minmin winked secretly at Jiang Lingxi.

Such a sweet Mr. Shen!

Once everyone was ready, they headed out together.

"I just asked around, and it turns out Lin Yan, who suddenly appeared on our show, originally finished rehearsing for the Spring Festival Gala and was about to leave. He happened to pass by our recording hall, realized it was the promotional program before the drama airs, and volunteered to perform. It worked out pretty well. If he hadn’t left so swiftly, I would have at least thanked him."

"They say Lin Yan has a cold personality, but seeing him today, he seems rather warm-hearted."

"I think so too. His voice should be reserved for the Spring Festival Gala, yet he ca to sing a song here for no appearance fee at all."

Jiang Lingxi listened to the conversation, smiling, and it seed like Lin Yan might really be a fan of her other persona.

Otherwise, there’s no explaining it!

"They’re out, they’re out, get the letters and flowers ready, make sure you hand them over properly. Hey, don’t push forward!"

"Why did you prepare two?"

"One is for Xixi, and the other is for Minmin. Hehe, I ship them both."

"I’m a fan of the Empress and the Pri Minister couple, but unfortunately, the Pri Minister isn’t here today. This person is too mysterious!"

"Tomorrow, we can watch the actual drama and enjoy it to the fullest."

"Xiaoxi, Xiaoxi, what are you doing? Why did you suddenly freeze?"

The girl called Xiaoxi snapped back to her senses suddenly, but she continued staring blankly at the figure erging not far ahead.

The person still wore the exquisite black embroidered mask, and she was absolutely sure this was the guy who sat next to her in the audience not long ago, whom she questioned as being a fake fan of Xixi!

But why is he now walking with the creators of ’The Empress of Yuan Zhao’, especially beside her favorite Xixi?

Xiaoxi felt her brain was now completely fried!

"The wind picked up, put on your mask."

Jiang Lingxi had just taken the mask from Shen Yunqing and was about to put it on when she suddenly glanced at the corner by the potted plants near the entrance and saw several expectant figures.

One of them even looked at her and beside her with a face full of disbelief.

Looking at the mask in her hand again, she chose to put it back in her pocket.

"Xixi, this is my letter."

"I picked these flowers myself, not bought, please accept them."

Jiang Lingxi accepted the flowers and letters handed over to her and refused the rest, "It’s getting late, go ho for dinner early."

"Hmm, hmm, hmm."

Xiaoxi nodded but didn’t move. Seeing them about to leave, she gathered her courage and asked, "Xixi, you..."

Jiang Lingxi didn’t catch what she said after that and tilted her head, "What?"

Shen Yunqing glanced over and whispered, "The girl who sat next to before."

Jiang Lingxi: "..." So they had scared her earlier?

She smiled at the girl, "Please keep it a secret!"

Xiaoxi instinctively nodded, then watched as they and the others left. She suddenly covered her face and couldn’t help but howl in place.

Oh Xiaoxi, you were really sothing today!

Daring to question the beloved actor’s family!

Luckily, they didn’t take issue with her.

However, in a unique way, she just got herself noticed by Xixi, right?
