There are two sets of study strategies at Jing University.

One is to follow the teaching progress of each subject's teacher, step by step.

The other is an advanced version, suitable for students who have higher study efficiency and also wish to shorten their study ti.

It's a half-teaching, half-self-learning model.

The choice of study thod is entirely up to the students' personal preferences, as so prefer to follow the teacher's pace, while others aim to achieve their goals as quickly as possible.

Most people choose the first thod, but a few opt for the second one as well.

Jiang Lingxi joining them was not surprising at all.

Just a few days after classes officially started, she joined a group called 'Advanced Study Group'.

As the na suggests, mbers of this study group are all preparing to achieve their learning objectives as quickly as possible.

In addition to their regular courses, the mbers have corresponding self-study plans, making their study tasks heavier, and naturally, their progress exceeds those of the step-by-step courses significantly.

After mixing in the group for less than two days, Jiang Lingxi gradually adapted to it.

And beca even busier.

Thus, people in the sa history departnt class found it quite unfortunate that even though they were lucky enough to be in the sa class as Jiang Lingxi, they rarely saw her outside of class.

Because she was either in the library's study room or in the teacher's office seeking guidance.

Even classmates in the sa course experienced this; for those just in the sa school, needless to say.

Hoping for a chance encounter on campus? They're better off dreaming.

Moreover, when Jiang Lingxi ca to school, she dressed very modestly, rembering that she was not a celebrity here, just an ordinary student.

Her attire was simple and comfortable, with glasses to prevent nearsightedness, a bare face, and a baseball cap that could cover half her face.

With such an outfit, even when she brushed past soone on campus, she wouldn't be recognized.

Such modesty and hard work naturally brought her rich rewards.

By the end-of-term exams, Jiang Lingxi and her fellow advanced classmates not only earned the credits for the first-sester first-year courses but also got credits for several major courses only offered in the second sester.

After winter break, upon starting the new term, they could directly apply for second-year comprehensive professional courses.

Progressed twice as fast as other students!

However, while academic progress was impressive, her career in the entertainnt industry inevitably stagnated.

The entertainnt industry is a rapidly changing field, with a constant influx of newcors each year, and others quietly exiting after failing to succeed.

Coming and going, bustling with activity.

During this ti, there were not a few who mocked Jiang Lingxi as muddleheaded.

"Leaving a promising future in the entertainnt circle to study at this ti - what on earth was she thinking?"

"I simply can't believe there will still be a place for her when she returns to the entertainnt industry after four years of university."

"Even Jiang Lingxi's manager agreed - it's not escaping the lilight, it's straight-up retirent, right?"

"Great that she's going to school. I was worried that the role I wanted might be taken by Jiang Lingxi; if she's in school, she won't be able to act in dramas."

...

Gloating laughter, various opinions circulated.

While Jiang Lingxi temporarily pulled back from the entertainnt industry to focus on academics, Tong Yue remained active in the circle.

She inevitably heard these remarks, but Jiang Lingxi had reassured her early on, not to take any of it to heart, nor did she relay any of it to her artist, even instructing Lu Zhengzheng and Fang Yao not to ntion it.

However, in this second half of the year, she was indeed a lot less busy than in the first half. Once Jiang Lingxi's plans beca slightly apparent, the scripts and variety show invitations dropped noticeably.

Even though many secretly hoped for Jiang Lingxi to join, given her presence assures high drama engagent and box office, there was no helping it since her schedule couldn't accommodate it.

A al handed to her mouth, and she wasn't eating – what could they do?

Yet, fewer invitations didn't an there were none.

So showed flexibility with the artist's schedule, and naturally, Tong Yue couldn't refuse outright.

And with the freed-up ti, Tong Yue didn't just lie around doing nothing.

If Lu Zhengzheng and Fang Yao weren't busy, she'd pack them off for training.

anwhile, she herself also underwent further training and invested in so promising projects within the circle.

Jiang Lingxi wasn't just burying herself in books either. Upon knowing Tong Yue was expanding business, she joined in.

Though she didn't have ti to act in dramas, she could invest in so with good potential.

Her transition from actress to a behind-the-scenes investor occurred silently, without drawing much attention.

This was also why Tong Yue couldn't be bothered to recount those snide comnts to Jiang Lingxi.

Who said she was quietly fading away from the industry?

However, the loudest rebuttal ca at the year's end with the release of "Yu Gong's Case".

"Yu Gong's Case" was fild in the first half of the year and, after six months of post-production editing and review, narrowly managed to air before the year-end.

Perhaps due to the success of "Yuan Zhao Empress" at the end of last year, plus Jiang Lingxi starring again, the production team hoped to replicate another success with this good on.

"Yu Gong's Case" wasn't aired on TV but on a video app.

When the official trailer was released, there were still those making snide remarks.

"Last one was a pri-ti TV series, now it's downgraded to an online drama."

"Seems like the first series was the peak, the ones that followed, well, tsk tsk!"

But when the pre-release subscription numbers ca out on the video platform, reaching millions in just days, and the second place not even close, the snide remarks reduced.

Held on begrudgingly: "This data must be bought, too fake!"

Soon, the broadcast day arrived.

The first day aired a whole six episodes.

For a series with just over thirty episodes, it wasn't a small amount.

On the premiere day, the website through proactive promotion featured it on the main screen, with the poster visible as soon as one clicked in.

The airing ti was at 6 PM, and by the ti all six episodes finished, it was already past 11 PM.

When everyone finally extricated themselves from the myriad characters and mysterious cases:

"Is it over already?"

"That's it, how co it's already over?"

"Couldn't they just release the whole thing at once!"

This was the sentint of practically everyone after watching the six episodes!

The next day, the previous day's premiere data beca instantly apparent.

With close to five million pre-release subscriptions, the first day logged over three million views, easily moving from the #1 pre-release chart straight to the top of the trending chart.

Simultaneously, a familiar na reerged on the trending searches.
