In Shao Yang's mind, no man other than himself was worthy of setting foot in Li Ruoshui's bedroom. He would never allow it; that was his principle, his absolute limit! Yet, now, another man was here.

"Who the hell are you?" Shao Yang demanded, his expression wary and unfriendly as he stared at Shen Fanyun. His emotions were about to boil over, his hands clenching into fists at his sides.
Shen Fanyun lit a cigarette. "What's it to you?"
Shao Yang was speechless.
Leaning against the doorway, Li Ruoshui pressed a hand to her forehead. She figured that since things had already co to this, she might as well use the opportunity to make things clear with Shao Yang. It would stop this self-righteous, infatuated man from pestering her any longer. She had been thoroughly exasperated by him for years. Besides, she had already given everything to Shen Fanyun, and she knew she would never love another man in her life. Since she couldn't hide it anymore, she might as well bring it out into the open.
"Li Ruoshui, I need an explanation!" Shao Yang gritted his teeth, turning his head to glare at her. "If you can't explain this clearly, you know what the consequences will be!"
Anyone hearing his questioning tone and attitude might have mistaken Shao Yang for one of Li Ruoshui's elders. He was just a childhood friend, not related by blood, and their relationship had never been anything more than that. On what grounds could he demand an explanation from her? What Li Ruoshui did and who she t was none of his business.
"And you," he added, turning back to Shen Fanyun, "you're not allowed to leave! Let warn you, you're not going anywhere without my permission!" He had refocused his attention. If this guy dared to try anything funny or attempt to slip away, he, Shao Yang, had plenty of ways to track him down and teach him a lesson about disobedience.
"Leave? Why would I leave?" Shen Fanyun said, nonchalantly sitting down on Li Ruoshui's bed. He watched Shao Yang with a smirk. "I haven't done anything morally depraved, so why should I go? Shouldn't you be the one to leave? You barge in and disrupt my intimate ti with Ruoshui, and yet you have the audacity to warn . What exactly are you warning about?"
Shen Fanyun raised an eyebrow, a humorless smile playing on his lips as he stared at the man standing just a few feet away.
Shao Yang was speechless again. Is he talking back to ? This man must have nerves of steel to dare argue with , a young master of the Shao Family!
"This isn't morally depraved?" Shao Yang seethed, his teeth clenched. His hatred for Shen Fanyun was palpable. "I caught you red-handed, and you still have the nerve to argue? Don't you find your own words and actions ridiculous?"
Hearing this, Shen Fanyun laughed. "Where's the moral depravity?"
"In broad daylight, you sneak into a young woman's room! Isn't that shaless? Isn't that a moral issue?" Shao Yang glared at him.
"I invited him in," Li Ruoshui explained.
"Shut your mouth," Shao Yang snapped at her. Perhaps realizing his tone was too harsh for the woman he loved, he paused and softened his voice. "Don't interrupt while I'm interrogating him. I believe you were forced. Don't worry, I'm here now. I'll protect you today!"
Li Ruoshui and Shen Fanyun exchanged a look. Is there sothing wrong with this guy's head? What is all this nonsense he's spouting?
"Speak. Who are you, and where do you live?" Shao Yang refocused his attention on Shen Fanyun. "You ca to Ruoshui's dorm uninvited. Are you harboring ulterior motives?"
Shen Fanyun couldn't take it anymore. "Are you an idiot? Did you not understand? Ruoshui was the one who invited in."
Shao Yang stared blankly.
"Impossible. You must have snuck in," he insisted. "Ruoshui would never be so casual. Besides , she would never get this close to another man. And if she really did bring you here, wouldn't she be afraid of hurting my feelings? All signs point to you trespassing! I'm the man she cares about most in this world. She would never do anything to hurt !"
Refusing to give up, Shao Yang took advantage of Li Ruoshui's montary stun and reached out to grab her wrist. Luckily, she reacted quickly and pulled her arm away.
"Shao Yang, stop deceiving yourself. I've already made myself very clear," she said, her patience wearing thin. "Furthermore, he is the man I love most in this life. I've given him everything, including my chastity!"
Li Ruoshui walked past Shao Yang and sat down beside Shen Fanyun, casually linking her arm through his.

"I... I don't believe it. Ruoshui, stop joking with . This isn't funny," Shao Yang said, his eyes suddenly brightening as he latched onto his new theory. "No, Ruoshui, I have never looked down on you, nor do I think that marrying would be climbing above your station. You don't have to put on an act like this to push away or try to make a painful break. I... I won't give up on you!" he assured her righteously.
Li Ruoshui stared at him, bewildered. What on earth is he talking about? Does he spend his days living in a fantasy world?
"I already have soone I love," Li Ruoshui emphasized impatiently.
Shao Yang shook his head. "You really... gave everything to him?"
Li Ruoshui nodded firmly. "Yes."
"I don't believe it... unless you let verify it personally." Shao Yang's eyes roved hungrily over Li Ruoshui's curvaceous body as inappropriate thoughts filled his mind. The only way to know for sure if she gave herself to Shen Fanyun is to sleep with her myself!
Li Ruoshui was instantly furious. What kind of shaless request was that? How could he say such a thing?

Li Ruoshui shot to her feet, swung her arm, and slapped Shao Yang hard across the face. "Have you gone too far? What do you take for?"
