Xu Haicong was the big boss of Hong Hai Capital, one of those larger-than-life figures who frequently appeared in the news. In terms of stature, he was in no way inferior to Han Long; in fact, he might have even surpassed him.
Yet, such a man was now kneeling before Shen Fanyun like a dog, begging pitifully for rcy.
This was too much. Not only did Su Ke’s mind go blank, but Su Xiyang was equally stunned. She had considered that Shen Fanyun ca from an extraordinary background, but she could never have imagined that his influence reached this level.
"I’m sorry, truly sorry. I know I was wrong. I promise, from now on I will be strict with myself and kind to others! Right, I’ll also do charity work, striving to help more people in need." Kneeling on the ground, Xu Haicong was a ss of snot and tears.
Yuan Chong was utterly dumbfounded, staring at the scene as if half his soul had been ripped from his body.
Although Su Ke wasn’t directly affected, his heart felt just as empty and desolate. Such a man... If only I had maintained a good attitude toward him from the very beginning. Could the Su Family have soared to new heights right alongside him?
However, he himself had offended Shen Fanyun countless tis. It was only because he was Su Xiyang’s grandfather that he hadn’t been disposed of long ago. In that instant, Su Ke felt as though he had lost sothing precious. He seed completely wooden and dazed.
"Too late," Shen Fanyun said, shaking his head.
He made a quick phone call to Zhan Feng. In less than ten minutes, Zhan Feng arrived and hauled Xu Haicong and Yuan Chong to their feet.
"Find a place with beautiful scenery and bury them," Shen Fanyun said with a wave of his hand.
Zhan Feng had always been clean and efficient. He simply nodded and dragged Xu Haicong and Yuan Chong out like a pair of dead dogs.
Su Ke’s eyes widened, still unable to accept what he was seeing. Xu Haicong and Yuan Chong were dealt with just like that? It feels like a dream.
"You’re not leaving? Are you waiting for to see you out?" Shen Fanyun asked, his tone half-joking, half-serious.
Su Ke was speechless. He opened his mouth as if to speak but then hesitated, staring at Shen Fanyun in astonishnt for a few seconds before finally gritting his teeth and leaving.
After he left, the room fell completely silent.
After a long while, Su Xiyang, still agitated yet sowhat bewildered, asked, "Is it... is it all taken care of?" It had all happened so fast that she had been caught completely off guard.
Shen Fanyun smiled. "What, were you planning to see those two off on their final journey?"
"I wouldn’t deign to bother with scum like them. Good riddance! They should have died long ago!" Su Xiyang said indignantly. Given ti, if I ever have your power, I guarantee I’ll be even more ruthless than you.
"A young lady like you shouldn’t be so violent," Shen Fanyun reminded her.
Su Xiyang retorted, "Well, I learned it from you."
Shen Fanyun was left speechless.
"Alright, I have work to do. You can go rest," Su Xiyang said, waving her hand and signaling for Shen Fanyun to go relax on the sofa.
Just as Shen Fanyun stood up, his phone buzzed with a series of ssages. He glanced at the sender: Lin iqing.
He imdiately felt a headache coming on. This beautiful, generous, and sensible auntie of his was simply too formidable. He had been avoiding her as much as possible lately, but it seed Lin iqing’s ssages were becoming more frequent.
What a headache, Shen Fanyun muttered. Taking a closer look, he realized sothing was wrong.
Lin iqing had sent a series of pictures featuring lots of flowers and cards, mostly roses. Flowers of courtship. At the end of the pictures, she had added an emoji of a face with a helpless, upturned smile.
What’s that supposed to an? Could it be that in the few days I haven’t contacted her, soone has started fiercely pursuing my gorgeous aunt? Flowers, cards, and gifts—nothing was missing. Judging by the sheer volu of flowers, this must have been going on for at least a week.
"Soone’s pursuing you?" Shen Fanyun ssaged her.
Lin iqing responded quickly, but still only with emojis: one of a hand covering a giggle, and another of a punchable-looking face wearing a green helt.
A green helt! Shen Fanyun suddenly had a bad feeling. Could she be on the verge of giving in, unable to withstand this barrage of sweet talk and gifts? If I don’t show up soon, will my beautiful aunt throw herself into another man’s arms and choose to be with him? Who has the nerve to pursue my beautiful aunt?
Shen Fanyun closed the ga he was playing and stuffed his phone into his pocket. Then, he turned to Su Xiyang. "Sothing’s co up. I need to step out for a bit."
Su Xiyang frowned. "Now?"
"Yep."
"Fine," Su Xiyang waved him off. "I’m busy anyway. Go have fun."
On the way, Lin iqing continued her bombardnt, sending him a flood of those bright green helt emojis that made Shen Fanyun’s heart pound with anxiety. This was his precious treasure. If she ended up with soone else, it would be a huge loss for him.
Looks like I can’t neglect Auntie anymore, Shen Fanyun thought, already adjusting his strategy. He had to make Lin iqing completely devoted to him.
When he arrived at the agreed-upon place, Shen Fanyun had just parked his car when Lin iqing eagerly slid into the passenger seat. "Xiao Shen, you’re finally willing to see ?"
"Heh heh." Shen Fanyun’s laugh was awkward.
Today, Lin iqing was wearing a sky-blue dress. Does it not fit right, or did she deliberately wear sothing so tight? As she leaned over to get into the seat, his vision was instantly filled by a pair of massive, fair, and full objects.
"Let’s just drive around for a bit." She isn’t in a hurry to go ho? After finally catching , shouldn’t she be dragging back for a three-hundred-round battle?
"Auntie, you look really beautiful today," Shen Fanyun complinted.
"Heh," Lin iqing scoffed, pouting with displeasure. "I’m too old to fall for such sweet talk."
"How long has it been since we last t?" she demanded, taking him to task. Before Shen Fanyun could offer a half-hearted excuse, her right hand suddenly shot out and gripped him firmly in a certain place. "Heh heh."
Shen Fanyun was speechless.
"I’m driving," he reminded her.
"You drive, I’ll do my thing. What’s there to be nervous about?" Lin iqing replied casually. The beautiful woman then stuck her tongue out at him, waggling it provocatively.
Shen Fanyun imdiately felt a rush of heat surge from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head.
"It’s so hot," Lin iqing giggled, twisting her graceful body in the passenger seat. Could this provocation be any more obvious?
"Do you want to see take it off?" she inquired.
"Auntie, there are surveillance caras everywhere," Shen Fanyun said helplessly. "You don’t want to expose yourself."
"You idiot," Lin iqing rolled her eyes, silently chiding him for being so clueless. "Don’t you know how to find a deserted country lane?"
It was an epiphany. So Auntie wants to change the battlefield for our three-hundred-round war? It looks like there’s no escaping her clutches today.
Hurry up... Ugh, I’ve been so uncomfortable these past few days. I can’t sleep at night, my whole body just feels like it’s on fire, Lin iqing grumbled to herself.
