Li Ruoshui woke up before Shen Fanyun. Sunlight fell evenly across his handso, youthful face, and she took the chance to study him up close.
She couldn’t help but sigh. After so many years, for them to et again and be so intimate... every inch of her skin still bore the mory of his kisses. She was a little excited, but also at a loss. She had no idea how they were supposed to act around each other once he woke up. After all, they had been classmates for over a decade.
No wonder people warn against going to class reunions. You never know when sparks might fly. Li Ruoshui now understood that profoundly.
"One, two, three, four, five," she murmured, pulling her right arm from under the covers. She held it high, letting the sunlight wash over her skin as she idly counted her fingers. All sleepiness had vanished. Besides, it was only seven o’clock. Hangcheng City was still waking up, and the streets would be sparsely populated.
She turned to look at Shen Fanyun again, a mischievous impulse bubbling up inside her. She propped herself on one elbow and, when there was enough space, clambered on top of him. Their skin t, just as scorching and intensely hot as before.
She had only ant to press herself against his chest, to feel the firm torso of the man she had dread of for more than a decade.
But in the next second, Li Ruoshui froze. Before she could react, Shen Fanyun’s eyes opened, and he was staring at her with a strange expression.
"Ah, you’re awake?" Li Ruoshui’s face flushed as she started to get off.
But Shen Fanyun’s arms shot out and wrapped around her waist.
"You don’t know that every man, when he wakes up in the morning..." Shen Fanyun flashed a aningful smile.
Realization dawned on Li Ruoshui. She reached down to touch, only to recoil in surprise.
"Good girl. You do it," Shen Fanyun said, shifting into a more comfortable position and gesturing for her to begin.
Li Ruoshui was a ss of sha, arousal, and anticipation. As her long hair cascaded down, her stunning beauty made Shen Fanyun’s blood boil. He couldn’t wait another second.
HISS!
A sudden jolt of electricity surged through her.
Moving to his rhythm, Li Ruoshui braced her hands on his face, her body a freely swaying swing. It was an exhilarating, liberating feeling that made her forget everything else. She felt as if her soul and body had fused completely with his.
Half an hour later, it was over. Shen Fanyun idly toyed with a lock of her hair as she nestled in his arms, her tongue tracing lazy patterns along his throat, chin, and neck.
The quiet atmosphere was finally broken by a ringing phone. Li Ruoshui frowned as she picked it up and saw the caller ID: Hong Tao.
Without hesitation, she hung up. She had made herself perfectly clear yesterday; she wanted nothing more to do with Hong Tao.
But Hong Tao, refusing to give up, called again.
"Answer it," Shen Fanyun suggested.
"Ruoshui, when are you heading to work? I’m downstairs at your office. I also bought you your favorite breakfast," Hong Tao said, his words tumbling out in a rush, clearly afraid she would hang up again. "About last night, it was my fault. I’ve done a lot of soul-searching, and I really hope you can forgive ."
"Hong Tao, stop bothering , will you?" Li Ruoshui said, massaging her forehead, her disdain written all over her face.
Hong Tao continued to plead, his apologies growing more desperate.
Shen Fanyun couldn’t listen anymore. He took the phone and simply said, "Hello?"
Downstairs from her office, Hong Tao felt as if he’d been struck by an invisible club. He froze on the spot.
That... wasn’t that Shen Fanyun’s voice? Why are Li Ruoshui and Shen Fanyun together so early in the morning? Where are they? Don’t tell they spent the entire night together?
"You!" Hong Tao gasped, grinding his back teeth so hard they nearly shattered. The goddess of my dreams, the woman I’ve been obsessed with for over a decade... did she really just spend the night in a hotel with another man? She didn’t co ho at all?
"Since you’ve guessed it, I don’t need to spell it out. From now on, disappear from Ruoshui’s world." Shen Fanyun didn’t give Hong Tao a chance to respond. After delivering his command, he hung up.

Hong Tao stood there numbly, trembling all over. "This is outrageous!" he seethed. "Too much! Shen Fanyun, you bastard... I’ll see you dead! Ahhh, my heart is breaking!"
anwhile, Li Ruoshui’s expression turned gentle again. She hesitated for a mont before cautiously asking Shen Fanyun, "Do you want to go again?"
"Do you think I’m so tireless ox?" Shen Fanyun replied, feeling a bit unnerved.
The ancients were right. There are only exhausted bulls, never over-plowed fields. They had just finished less than half an hour ago, and she still seed insatiable? And she was the one asking if he could go again? He had no desire to die an early death!
Li Ruoshui nodded slightly. That made sense, she supposed. She got up, showered, dressed, and prepared to leave for work.
"I get off work at five. Are you going to pick up?" she asked as she texted her work address to Shen Fanyun.
Shen Fanyun waved his hand. "We’ll see."
Li Ruoshui pouted. Before leaving, she planted a kiss on his forehead. "Love you!" she said. "I hope I see you again in eight hours."
Damn it! This one’s a clingy little siren. Shen Fanyun had always preferred to go his own way, free from any restrictions. He was especially wary of clingy won who wanted to be stuck to his side twenty-four hours a day.
After Li Ruoshui left, Shen Fanyun slept for another three hours. Once he was up and had eaten sothing, he considered going to see Su Xiyang. A last-minute issue the night before had caused him to miss his eting with her father, Su Ming.
Looks like I’ll have to reschedule for today, he thought.
"I’m busy at the company. If you have ti, drive over first, and I’ll try to set up a eting with my father," Su Xiyang said quickly before hanging up.
anwhile, Old Master Su was furious with Su Xiyang. She had defied his will, rejecting a fine match like Wang Yanwen from a prominent family to instead mingle with riffraff. He decided he would strip her of her CEO title and make her co ho to reflect on her actions.
"Xiaoyan is getting more disobedient by the day," he fud. "She needs to be taught a lesson!"
