Chapter 635: Chapter 635: Tonight, He’s Set on Having Her!
The stars were lively, the moonlight shimred like water, echoing the neon-lit cityscape below, imparting a feeling of peering into a bustling world from a remote sanctuary.
Ye Shu did not follow Sheng Shaochen out of the car because she feared that any movent might awaken Little Brother Kai.
Most importantly, she did not want to be alone with Sheng Shaochen, faced with a man who had completely erased her from his mind; she did not know how to interact with him.
Little Brother Kai was different, though he was Sheng Shaochen’s child with another woman, the little one’s presence beside her invoked an indescribable sense of happiness.
She cherished that feeling.
Suddenly, the car door opened, and Sheng Shaochen leaned in, gently placed his son on the seat, then, without explanation, scooped Ye Shu entirely out of the car.
“Mr. Sheng, what are you doing?” Ye Shu struggled out of his embrace, “The only reason I ca here with you today is because of Little Brother Kai, please show so respect!”
“Such a perfect evening, and you’re so tense; don’t you think it’s a sha to waste this beautiful ti? Co here!” Sheng Shaochen said, and after lowering the car window halfway, he softly closed the door and walked toward the viewing spot he had ticulously set up.
That was when Ye Shu realized that Sheng Shaochen had co fully prepared.
A folding table, two stools, a table set with red wine and tall glasses, and a portable lamp flashing invitingly.
“Mr. Sheng, a towering multinational CEO, planning to win a girl’s favor? I didn’t expect that,” Ye Shu said without any pretense, and sat down across from him.
“You’re wrong; I never need to win a woman’s favor,” Sheng Shaochen remarked while using a corkscrew to open the bottle of red wine.
He poured half a glass, slid it across the small table toward Ye Shu.
Ye Shu pushed the glass back, picked up the bottle, and drank from it, “Mr. Sheng, you’re always domineering and authoritarian, this doesn’t seem like your usual style. What is it, is there sothing you want to tell ?”
“Indeed, tonight, I truly do have a favor to ask,” Sheng Shaochen said, stretching out his hand, “Lend your phone for a mont.”
Ye Shu did not understand his intention but obediently pulled out her phone and handed it to him.
Sheng Shaochen took a bag, put Ye Shu’s phone, his own phone, and the car keys together, then sealed the bag with a small rope.
A hint of suspicion crossed Ye Shu’s eyes, “Mr. Sheng, what exactly are you planning?”
Sheng Shaochen’s lips curved into a sly smile, “I’m not planning anything; I just want to have a long conversation with you through the night.”
Seeing his expression, Ye Shu felt a chill run down her spine; she knew this man too well. Whenever that look appeared on his face, nothing good ever happened!
Sure enough, Sheng Shaochen suddenly flung his hand, and two phones along with the car keys flew, with a whooshing sound, over the cliff ten ters away from them…
“Are you out of your mind?!” Ye Shu stood up abruptly!
“If I were you, I’d sit down, enjoy the wine, and have a good talk about life,” Sheng Shaochen revealed a rarely seen rascal deanor, tonight, he was determined to have her!
“That’s utterly despicable!” Ye Shu glared at Sheng Shaochen in annoyance. Now, with no car keys, walking down the continuously winding mountain road from the summit likely wouldn’t get them to the base until sunrise.
Call for help? The phones were gone too…
