What the hell? Mr. Sheng is in a eting and he answered her video call? What on earth was he thinking?
Plus, she had been using the split-screen feature and hadn’t noticed the problem; she had said so many cheesy things to him, and now she was mortified.
“Cough cough, where are you? Co back!” The commanding voice of Sheng Shaochen ca through the phone.
Ye Shu hurriedly wrapped another comforter around herself before picking up her phone, only to find that the video was still ongoing!
“Mr. Sheng, what are you doing? You’re in a eting, why are you hitting up on video? Can’t you focus?”
Sheng Shaochen chuckled, “Hitting you up on video is to let you join today’s eting through the video.”
Ye Shu quickly responded, “No way, stop joking. Aren’t you afraid of those uncles and old n making a fuss about ? It’ll be super embarrassing!”
“They have already made a fuss about you, saying that I’m so absorbed in won that I neglect their well-being. What do you think?”
“What?” Ye Shu imdiately retorted, annoyed, “Who said that? Let him stand up!”
In the eting room, the expressions on the shareholders’ faces were growing increasingly ugly.
“Hey, Shaochen, what do you an by this? After all, it’s the shareholders’ eting of the group. Here you are, being all lovey-dovey with your woman, without any regard for the occasion or everyone’s feelings. Are we going to continue this eting or not?” Chen Lao Hui was the first one to challenge Sheng Shaochen.
“That’s right, Sheng Shaochen, playing gas during the company eting. You’re completely disregarding us old-tirs, showing no basic respect. I think the company is not far from collapse. Go play by yourself; I just ask to withdraw my share of the stock!”
“Yeah yeah yeah, I want out too!” Quite a few people began to jump on the bandwagon to withdraw their shares!
