Xu Chuanchuan didn't think that her instincts would be correct.
In reality, Murong Shi's explanation for the cup should have been flawless. Even Xu Chuanchuan didn't know why she would suddenly doubt the explanation. This situation was just like the ti she suspected Passerby Shi to be Murong Shi.
Soti later, Murong Shi took the initiative to send Xu Chuanchuan a video call request. By now, Xu Chuanchuan had already changed into her pajamas. Smiling, Murong Shi asked, "Are you done showering?"
Instead of responding to Murong Shi's question, Xu Chuanchuan fiddled with her bangs for a mont before asking, "Were you on the phone with soone just now?"
"Mhm. I talked a little with my mom."
Because of so objective reasons, Xu Chuanchuan and Murong Shi had been contacting each other through the internet these past few days. So, how could Murong Shi suddenly contact Murong Mingshu through her SIM?
However, Murong Shi had seemingly failed to realize the flaw in her words. anwhile, Xu Chuanchuan still feigned ignorance as she said, "I just checked the weather. It has been blisteringly hot in Malaysia recently, but it seems to have rained over there today, so it should be a little cooler now, right?"
Murong Shi was unaware that Xu Chuanchuan was probing her. So, she pretended to look outside and responded with an "Mhm."
Xu Chuanchuan stared at Murong Shi and kept silent.
After a while, Murong Shi tilted her head and asked, "What's wrong?"
"You sure know how to put on an act," Xu Chuanchuan said with a sinister smile.
"What do you an?" Murong Shi was confused.
Sitting cross-legged, Xu Chuanchuan put on a stern expression and said, "Comrade Murong, your acting skills are indeed excellent. Unfortunately, you have already been exposed."
Murong Shi was slightly stunned. A mont later, though, she couldn't help but chuckle as she asked, "How did you find out? Was it because of that cup?"
Xu Chuanchuan wagged her forefinger at the screen. Then, she slowly said, "The cup was only one suspicious point. You didn't pick up my call request just now, so I ssaged Linda. She told that you'd left Malaysia early this morning, and she was even the one who helped you buy the plane ticket."
Murong Shi: "..."
"Why didn't you tell you ca to Shanghai?"
"...I didn't plan on letting you know."
"Why?"
Murong Shi pursed her lips.
Half an hour later
Xu Chuanchuan arrived at the hotel Murong Shi was staying at. When she exited the taxi and saw a familiar figure standing in front of the hotel entrance, she promptly dashed toward the other party.
Their reunion didn't contain any joy or expectation. Instead, Murong Shi frowned as she chided, "I told you not to co. Don't you know how dangerous it is for a girl to co out alone at night?"
Xu Chuanchuan withdrew her hands and her thoughts of hugging Murong Shi. Then, she clicked her tongue and said, "You have the cheek to say that? Compared to you, I'm much safer with my appearance."
Murong Shi angrily smiled. "Does that justify your actions?"
"Of course."
Murong Shi had no words to retaliate with, so she quickly dragged Xu Chuanchuan into the elevator. As soon as the elevator doors closed, Murong Shi impatiently embraced Xu Chuanchuan.
While fending off Murong Shi's lips, Xu Chuanchuan said, "There's a cara here!"
Although Murong Shi stopped trying to escalate their intimacy, she did not release Xu Chuanchuan from her arms.
After arriving back in the room and closing the door, Murong Shi promptly pressed Xu Chuanchuan against the door and kissed her.
It had been a long ti since they last saw each other in person, so Xu Chuanchuan was similarly in an excited mood. Without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around Murong Shi's neck and responded to the kiss.
The two's breaths gradually beca muddled, and Xu Chuanchuan's clothes quickly got wrinkled. The instant Murong Shi bit her right earlobe, Xu Chuanchuan felt her legs go limp.
Making good use of this situation, Murong Shi swooped Xu Chuanchuan up in her arms and carried her to the bed.

Xu Chuanchuan frowned in distress. "Is the problem solved?"
"It's mostly settled. Otherwise, I wouldn't have dared to leave."
After so light conversation, Xu Chuanchuan changed the topic and asked, "Don't tell you secretly ca to Shanghai to monitor ?"
"No." Giving Xu Chuanchuan a soft kiss on the forehead, Murong Shi said, "I only wanted to look around."
"Look at what?"
"Look at this big city. This is also my first ti visiting Shanghai."
This reason was too far-fetched and sounded perfunctory. Needless to say, Xu Chuanchuan did not believe it at the slightest. The next mont, she turned around and put herself above Murong Shi. Then, while looking down at her lover, she smiled and said, "Stop pretending. I know you ca here for ."

Murong Shi quietly observed Xu Chuanchuan for a mont. Then, she leisurely said, "I reflected on myself that day and felt that my actions were indeed wrong. Who you make friends with is your freedom, and I shouldn't interfere with it. Since you've decided to co to et your friend, logically, I shouldn't try to stop you, either."
"So, you secretly snuck your way here and didn't let know about it?"
"This is your first ti traveling to a distant land. I was just...a little worried."
This thod of caring for soone was unheard of. At the very least, Xu Chuanchuan had never heard of it before today.
Xu Chuanchuan experienced complicated feelings after listening to Murong Shi's recollection. She felt surprised, touched, and a little guilty. If it weren't for her, Murong Shi wouldn't have had to co back in such a hurry. Moreover, if Xu Chuanchuan hadn't overthought things, wouldn't Murong Shi have to spend the next few days in this hotel alone while she would be out having fun with another person in ignorance?
Xu Chuanchuan felt that she was a failure as a girlfriend.
While affectionately caressing Murong Shi's face, Xu Chuanchuan said, "Comrade Murong, how can you be so cute?"

The next mont, Murong Shi flipped Xu Chuanchuan around and reversed their positions.
Afterward, the two began tussling on the bed, their clothes quickly disappearing and their skin making more and more physical contact. The situation rapidly intensified, and eventually, what should have happened, happened.
Xu Chuanchuan only woke up at noon the next day. When she woke up and found that nobody was beside her, she montarily thought she had experienced a wet dream last night, and she promptly sat up on the bed.
However, when the blanket rolled down and exposed her snowy-white skin, Xu Chuanchuan's worries disappeared.
It wasn't a dream.
At this mont, her entire body was covered in hickeys, with the ones on her breasts and inner thighs being the most obvious.
When Xu Chuanchuan thought back to the madness last night, her face burned up, and she quickly buried her head into her pillow.
When Murong Shi ca out of the bathroom and saw that Xu Chuanchuan was already awake, she warmly smiled and asked, "Did you sleep well?"

Ignoring the fact that she was naked, Xu Chuanchuan reached out and tightly embraced Murong Shi. And as she listened to her lover's heartbeat, she couldn't help but smile in happiness.
Even though they had only been apart for a week, the two couldn't help but wish they could tie each other to their waists.
Their hug lasted for a long ti. Just as Murong Shi was about to move in for a kiss, Xu Chuanchuan suddenly covered Murong Shi's mouth and said, "I haven't brushed my teeth yet."
Murong Shi kissed Xu Chuanchuan's palm and released the shorter woman. Then, she brought Xu Chuanchuan's clothes over.
The clothes were the sa ones she wore last night. Just as Xu Chuanchuan was about to put on her bra, she suddenly recalled sothing.

Ange paused for a mont. Then, she said, "Nevermind. I'm scared that she'll co and kill ."
The joke they shared last night had beco a reality, so Xu Chuanchuan didn't know how she should follow up with Ange's words.
In the end, though, after the three of them discussed among themselves, they still decided to et up.
Ange had chosen a stylish cafe as the location of their et-up. She had also deliberately chosen an inconspicuous seat in the shop. Though only after she had finished a cup of coffee did Xu Chuanchuan and Murong Shi arrive.
At this ti, Xu Chuanchuan had turned bright red because of the glaring sun outside. Upon arriving, she quickly said, "Sorry, we're not familiar with Shanghai, so it took us so ti to find this place."
"It's fine," Ange said. Sensing that a certain soone's eyes had been locked onto her since they entered the shop, Ange awkwardly turned toward Murong Shi and greeted, "Hello."
"Hello," Murong Shi calmly responded.
Noticing the strange attitudes of Ange and Murong Shi, Xu Chuanchuan quickly stepped forward to smooth things over. "I checked the weather forecast just now, and it seems the temperature today might reach 40 degrees Celsius. That's so terrible."
Making use of Xu Chuanchuan's words, Ange said, "It's easy to get heatstroke in such hot weather, so it's best if we cancel our outing plans for today."
"Huh?" Xu Chuanchuan was caught off guard by this situation.
Then, Ange pointed at the crowd of pedestrians outside the shop and said, "Shanghai has many interesting places to visit, but it gets especially crowded during the holidays. I dare say that everywhere we visit will be packed. I'm sure you two wouldn't want to join such a crowd in such hot weather, right?"
Xu Chuanchuan and Murong Shi briefly exchanged looks with each other.
"If you still insist on going out, I can take you two to the Oriental Pearl Tower tonight."
Xu Chuanchuan couldn't help but be confused by this situation. After all, this wasn't what Ange had said yesterday. The two of them had already discussed their travel route for today. Yet, Ange had suddenly suggested modifying it.

At this ti, the waiter just so happened to have walked over and interrupted their conversation.
While Murong Shi communicated with the waiter, Xu Chuanchuan looked toward Ange and saw her friend signaling her with her eyes. Unfortunately, Xu Chuanchuan failed to figure out what Ange was trying to express.
After the waiter left, Xu Chuanchuan worried that an awkward silence would ensue. However, to her surprise, Murong Shi had taken the initiative to strike up a conversation with Ange.
The two mainly talked about Ange's cake shop. Ange would answer whatever questions Murong Shi posed, and the atmosphere between them seed relatively good.
Xu Chuanchuan sighed in relief at this sight. Then, she said, "I'm going to the restroom. Any of you want to go with ?"
Ange said she wasn't going.
Xu Chuanchuan initially thought Murong Shi would accompany her, but Murong Shi had unexpectedly said, "You go ahead."
Left with no better choice, Xu Chuanchuan went to the restroom by herself.
Murong Shi watched Xu Chuanchuan leave, only retracting her gaze after she could no longer see her lover's back. Then, she looked toward Ange, who was tearing apart a piece of tissue paper out of boredom, and said, "Let's talk."

The reason why Xu Chuanchuan assus that Murong Shi is calling soone through her phone line is because of WeChat's call system.
If you(A) are calling a friend(B), and this friend(B) happens to be in a WeChat call with soone else(C), then the call won't connect at all, and WeChat's system will just notify you that your friend(B) is in a call with soone else.
However, if you(A) call your friend(B), and your friend(B) is holding a call with soone else(C) through their SIM, your WeChat call request will go through, and you will hear a busy tone. However, your friend(B) will not receive any notifications of the call request until they are done with their phone call.
So, since Xu Chuanchuan heard a busy tone when she initially tried calling Murong Shi, and Murong Shi subsequently admitted that she had been in a call with Murong Mingshu (which disproves the possibility that Murong Shi had been away from her phone), this ans that Murong Shi had called Murong Mingshu using her SIM.
