"You two must be happy," Fang Qin solemnly said.
In response, Murong Shi wrapped an arm around Xu Chuanchuan's shoulders and said, "We will."
"That eases ." After leaving behind a bleak smile, Fang Qin left.
The ti they spent together was short, so Xu Chuanchuan still didn't fully understand Fang Qin's character. Even the story about Fang Qin's ex-girlfriend was sothing she had only heard from Murong Shi just now. Only today did Xu Chuanchuan realize that Fang Qin had such a sad backstory.
Although Fang Qin had left the apartnt in an elegant manner, when Xu Chuanchuan thought back to Fang Qin's drunken stupor before, she couldn't help but sigh ruefully. Then, she threw herself into Murong Shi's arms and asked, "Will she be alright?"
This ti, Murong Shi couldn't give Xu Chuanchuan a definite answer.
That night, the couple didn't go out for dinner but ordered delivery instead. After finishing their al, Murong Shi offered to clear out the trash and said, "Go ahead and start writing."
"I don't want to write right now."
"Lacking inspiration?"
"No." Holding down Murong Shi's hands, Xu Chuanchuan put on a stern expression and frankly asked, "When did you find out about my pen na?"
It was finally ti to settle accounts.
Realizing Xu Chuanchuan's intentions, Murong Shi stopped tidying up the table. Then, she looked through her mories for a mont before saying, "Do you still rember that one ti one of your docunts got blown out of the window, and you ca running to the entrance in a panic to search for it?"
To be precise, that docunt was a contract. anwhile, written on the contract was Xu Chuanchuan's pen na and the na of her new novel. It even recorded Xu Chuanchuan's identification number. Because of this, Xu Chuanchuan had panicked when the wind blew the contract out of the window. Moreover, that was the only ti such an incident had happened, so how could Xu Chuanchuan possibly forget about it?
Widening her eyes, Xu Chuanchuan asked, "You already found out at that ti???"
"Mhm."
"So, you were lying to back then???" Xu Chuanchuan asked in disbelief.
Chuckling, Murong Shi said, "I didn't lie to you. That was just a coincidence."
"What coincidence?"
To explain this matter, Murong Shi would have to start by talking about Murong Yan recomnding BL novels to her. Because of a typing error, Murong Shi had ended up finding one of Ange's novels instead of Murong Yan's recomnded BL novel. anwhile, after reading Ange's novel, Murong Shi had followed Ange's recomndation and read a novel written by an author called Fragrant Citrus. However, the novel was terribly written, so she casually gave the novel a point reduction. That, in turn, caused her to beco besieged and insulted by a bunch of Fragrant Citrus's brain-dead fans.
"The first ti I started reading web novels, I didn't know about things like point reductions and donations. I got cursed a bunch back then, so I went to give your novel a Deep-water out of spite. Initially, I was only thinking of venting my anger, but I never thought I would coincidentally co across that contract of yours."
After hearing Murong Shi's explanation, Xu Chuanchuan finally understood why "Passerby" had sent a Deep-water Torpedo to her novel back then for no reason. It turned out that there were so many details included in the process. She was so surprised by this revelation that she was at a loss for words.
Looking at Xu Chuanchuan's dazed expression, Murong Shi tapped a finger on the tip of her lover's nose and teasingly said, "You dummy. If you hadn't admitted to the fact that you were that contract's owner, I would never have suspected that you were 'I Love Malatang.' As for what happened afterward, I think you don't need to tell you, right?"
Indeed, there was no need to elaborate on the story further. Xu Chuanchuan already understood everything.
The next mont, Xu Chuanchuan started hitting the coffee table out of frustration while exclaiming, "How can I be so dumb?!"
Murong Shi caught Xu Chuanchuan's hands and said, "Don't humble yourself so much. A fool wouldn't be able to write novels like you."
Xu Chuanchuan smiled at the praise. Then, in a delighted tone, she said, "I'm quite smart, actually. I've long since suspected that you were 'Passerby.' If you didn't deliberately mislead ti and again, I would've long since stripped you of your disguise!"
Murong Shi had long since treated the matter of her using a pseudonym to trick Xu Chuanchuan as a part of her black history. So, she didn't try to refute Xu Chuanchuan. She was also afraid that Xu Chuanchuan would probe deeper into the matter. Then, she said in an ambiguous tone, "Stripping my disguise is boring. If you want to, I'll even let you strip off my clothes."
"These are your words, not mine. Don't mind if I do, then," Xu Chuanchuan said with an evil grin. Imdiately afterward, she pounced on the person in front of her.
However, Murong Shi swiftly dodged Xu Chuanchuan and said, "Why are you in such a hurry? Let tidy up first."
By the ti Murong Shi was done tidying up, Xu Chuanchuan had already disappeared into their bedroom and started writing her novel. Seeing this, Murong Shi tactfully sat on the bed and did not interrupt Xu Chuanchuan.
"I'm done!" Xu Chuanchuan cheered while stretching her back. When she turned around and saw Murong Shi kneeling on the bed and changing the bed sheet, she hurried over to help.
The old bed sheet had the faint sll of alcohol that Fang Qin left behind. Upon slling this scent, Xu Chuanchuan's eyes turned gloomy as she said, "I wonder how Fang Qin is now?"
In response, Murong Shi said, "She ssaged on WeChat not long ago. She says she has moved into a hotel already."
"But staying in a hotel isn't a long-term solution."
"It's only temporary. From what she told , it seems she's planning to go on vacation."
"By herself?"
"Probably."
The more Xu Chuanchuan thought about it, the more dreary the idea sounded. So, she suggested, "Why don't we find a girlfriend for her?"
Smiling, Murong Shi, "From where?"
"A dating website?" Xu Chuanchuan said, blinking innocently.
"Are you serious?" Murong Shi asked, her lips twitching.
Letting out a dry laugh, Xu Chuanchuan said, "In our country I don't think there's any dating website willing to advertise for homosexuals."
Murong Shi gave Xu Chuanchuan a knock on the head. Then, she grabbed the pillow and pillow casing from Xu Chuanchuan's hands, saying, "Alright, that's enough. Go take a shower first."
"Okay!" Xu Chuanchuan slipped out of bed and turned off her computer. Just as she was about to go and grab a change of clothes, she suddenly thought of sothing and said, "By the way, Linda already found out about us."
Murong Shi was slightly stunned. However, her surprise didn't last for too long before she retracted her emotions and asked, "What did she say?"
"She says she is grateful to you for lending her money in her ti of need, so she will help keep the secret for us."
In response, Murong Shi nodded in understanding and said, "We can't keep this secret hidden forever, anyway. Now that she knows, we won't have to move around in secret anymore."
Xu Chuanchuan nodded in agreent. Then, she walked up to the wardrobe and opened it. Just as she was about to reach for a set of pajamas, a strange buzzing sound entered her ears.
Xu Chuanchuan couldn't be more familiar with this sound. When she turned around toward the source of the sound, she found that Murong Shi was currently testing out the vibrator she had previously hidden away. The vibrator had a total of three settings: low, dium, and high. Murong Shi moved the switch from low to high and high to low, the serious expression she wore while doing so making it look like she was a professional conducting a test.
Seeing this strange and embarrassing sight, Xu Chuanchuan dryly coughed and asked, "Why are you ssing with that thing?"
"I'm testing to see if it's broken. Thankfully, it's not. It seems we can still use it tonight," Murong Shi said with a straight face.
Tonight
Xu Chuanchuan blushed. Imdiately, she grabbed a random set of pajamas and dashed for the bathroom.
When Mother Xu and Xu Xiangxiang had co over this morning, Murong Shi had promised Xu Chuanchuan to throw the vibrator away in an attempt to coax her. However, judging by Murong Shi's actions, Xu Chuanchuan guessed that Murong Shi had probably forgotten about the matter already.
In reality, Xu Chuanchuan would've felt reluctant if Murong Shi were to throw the vibrator away. After all, the thing cost around 300 yuan, and they had only managed to use it a few tis. It would be a huge waste to throw it away.
With her heart in a turbulent mood, Xu Chuanchuan turned on the shower and let the hot water pour on her.

Xu Chuanchuan had been so engrossed in showering that she didn't even notice soone opening the bathroom door. Only after hearing footsteps did she realize soone else was in the bathroom. Then, when she opened her eyes and saw the person in front of her, she cried out, "W-W-Why didn't you knock?!"
Murong Shi walked over in large strides. Then, she calmly said, "What are you afraid of? There are no outsiders here."
Xu Chuanchuan wasn't surprised that Murong Shi had barged into the bathroom. After all, this wasn't the first ti the woman had done so. Instead, what surprised her was the vibrator in Murong Shi's hand. "Don't tell you're thinking of using that here"
Murong Shi instantly knew that Xu Chuanchuan was having indecent thoughts. So, she deliberately turned on the device. Then, accompanied by the familiar buzzing sound, Murong Shi playfully smiled and said, "The package says this thing is waterproof. How about we put it to the test?"
Bathroom play???
"No! I don't want to! The floor here is slippery!" Xu Chuanchuan cried out in horror while retreating from Murong Shi one step after another. However, to no one's surprise, she inadvertently slipped.
Just as Xu Chuanchuan was about to fall, Murong Shi quickly reacted and caught the shorter woman in her arms.
Frightened, Xu Chuanchuan complained through the layer of steam separating them, "I told you the floor was slippery!"
"Couldn't you tell I was ssing with you?" Murong Shi helplessly said. Then, seeing as hot water had already drenched her clothing, she decided to strip down and shower with Xu Chuanchuan.
Facts had proven that the vibrator was indeed waterproofed. It remained operational even after spending half an hour in the shower. anwhile, by the ti Xu Chuanchuan and Murong Shi had got out of the shower, Murong Shi was already more than eager to put the vibrator to use.
The new bed sheet had the sll of sunshine. Currently, Xu Chuanchuan laid on the bed partially naked, her eyes dazed, and her head lifted slightly as she softly panted.
Seeing this, Murong Shi raised the intensity by another degree.
Xu Chuanchuan clenched her teeth and held onto Murong Shi's wrist. Then, speaking intermittently, "No...more, it's too numbing..."
Murong Shi leaned in to kiss Xu Chuanchuan. While doing so, she moved her thumb to the vibrator's switch to tune down the vibration's intensity. However, she accidentally toggled the device to its highest setting instead.
Naturally, there was no way Xu Chuanchuan could withstand the intensity. In no ti at all, her body spasd, and she let out a high-pitched scream. Once the spasms stopped, she limply collapsed into Murong Shi's arms.
Then, Xu Chuanchuan suddenly felt a stream of heat gushed out from within her. Realizing what might've just happened, burying her head deeply into Murong Shi's breasts, she said in embarrassnt, "I think...I peed..."
Murong Shi was montarily startled. Then, when she carried Xu Chuanchuan aside and took a look at the bed, she couldn't help but be stunned.
The bed sheet had indeed beco drenched, but it wasn't by so transparent liquid. Instead, sothing red had stained the bed sheet.
After snapping out of her daze, Murong Shi pulled apart Xu Chuanchuan's legs and burst into laughter. Then, she said, "Dearest, it seems your period has paid you an early visit."
