The soft sedan chair arrived first.

After a group of people moved Zhao Ting onto the sedan chair, Zhao Old Madam also arrived.

Seeing Zhao Ting’s ’feeble’ appearance, her eyes imdiately reddened.

How could her son have such a hard life? Every ti he goes out, he cos back half-dead.

How could she dare to let anyone go out after this?

"Call the doctor, what are you waiting for? Hurry and call the doctor! Also, arrange for soone to bring back the second young master and third young master!" Zhao Old Madam ordered repeatedly.

The person tasked with the job hurried out the door.

Zhao Ting was directly carried to Songhe Hall.

Zhao Ting didn’t forget to instruct ng Yao to follow.

"Mother, this is my savior." Zhao Ting said.

ng Yao’s face was dusty, and her appearance was hardly decent.

At first glance, Zhao Old Madam didn’t think of ’this is the daughter-in-law’ perspective.

But since her son said this was his savior, she couldn’t neglect her.

Zhao Ting didn’t know that his son and daughter had already been ho and acknowledged their grandmother. If he knew, he’d certainly introduce her directly as their mother.

"Huang Ying, take this lady to freshen up." Zhao Old Madam instructed Huang Ying, "Take good care of her, don’t neglect her."

"Yes, Old Madam." Huang Ying replied.

A savior to the master of the house is a savior to a proper maid as well, so she certainly couldn’t neglect her.

ng Yao also felt dirty and uncomfortable, so she followed Huang Ying to freshen up.

Zhao Old Madam cried for a while over her ’poor son’ and then hurriedly told Zhao Ting about his daughter’s current predicant.

Zhao Ting was a bit confused.

Weren’t Dahe and Xiaohua in Qingzhou Prefecture?

How did they suddenly co to the Capital City?

With him in such a state, Zhao Old Madam was very displeased, "You kept such an important matter from , letting my grandson and granddaughter suffer outside. If you weren’t injured now, I’d give you a real beating. Where’s my daughter-in-law? Have you found her yet?"

"Huh?"

"Huh what? Don’t tell you haven’t found her yet. Zhao Ting, oh Zhao Ting, weren’t you quite capable before? How co you can’t even handle this little thing now? Previously, you lost your mory, so you couldn’t be blad. But after regaining your mory, you still can’t bring her back, and that’s your fault!" Zhao Old Madam complained.

The turn of events was unexpected, but pleasantly surprising.

"Mother, she’s living a tough life with the children and is probably angry at !" Zhao Ting said.

"She should be angry at you; if I were your wife, I’d be mad too. Can’t you coax her? You have several children already, just coax her properly, and your wife won’t refuse to live with you." Zhao Old Madam said.

"She’s from the countryside, mother you..." Zhao Ting said cautiously.

"What about being from the countryside? Zhao Ting, do you look down on country folk?" Zhao Old Madam raised her eyebrows, "Who isn’t from farming stock if you trace back a few generations? Just from her raising my grandchildren so well, she outshines those noble ladies by far!"

Zhao Ting thought Zhao Old Madam would be at least a bit disdainful, but instead, she was full of support.

"Of course I don’t look down on her." Zhao Ting said hurriedly, "If I did, I wouldn’t have brought her back."

"You brought her back? Where is she? Why haven’t I seen her?" Zhao Old Madam asked instinctively.

"Didn’t you just have Huang Ying take her to freshen up?"

"Are you saying your savior is actually your wife? Why didn’t you say so earlier? You, this child, why do you act like this?" Zhao Old Madam stared at Zhao Ting.

"At first, I didn’t know you were aware, mother, afraid to say it abruptly and scare you." Zhao Ting said hurriedly.

Zhao Old Madam hurriedly went into the inner room and brought out a box; her son was unreliable, but she couldn’t be. This first eting, the eting gift must be prepared.

Her son was useless and hadn’t coaxed her back yet; as a mother, she had to step in and help him.

Over there, ng Yao finished washing, changed her clothes, and followed Huang Ying to Zhao Old Madam.

Whether or not she chose to stay with the Zhao Mansion, she had to thank Old Madam Zhao, given her status as senior.

As she entered, Zhao Old Madam ca to greet her, her face beaming with a warm smile, taking her hand, "Good child, you’ve had a hard journey, if it weren’t for you, that unfortunate Zhao Ting might not have returned. Such a grace should be repaid with one’s life."

What?

ng Yao was a bit confused.

"Oh, I’m an old woman, too excited, spoke out of line. Can’t say ’repay with one’s life,’ since you are already married." Zhao Old Madam ushered ng Yao to sit down, "Zhao Ting is unreliable; I just scolded him. Don’t mind him."

ng Yao looked at Zhao Ting.

Zhao Ting had an innocent look, "It’s not my fault, I didn’t say anything. Mother just asked your na, and I said you were ng Yao. Her reaction surprised ; mother told Dahe and Xiaohua said their mother’s na was ng Yao."

Zhao Ting said, half truthfully.

"Yaoyao, we are a family, should reunite, don’t you think? If you’re still mad at Zhao Ting, I’ll send him to the manor, won’t let him bother you, alright?" Zhao Old Madam pleaded humbly.

The son was unworthy; she had to hold her ground.

"Old Madam, is Dahe and Xiaohua at the mansion now?" ng Yao asked.

"No, no, you haven’t forgiven Zhao Ting yet. Whether they return or not depends on you." Zhao Old Madam said, "For now, they are staying at the Du Mansion."

"Staying at the Du Mansion isn’t proper, I will find them a place to stay, we will discuss this later." ng Yao said.

They were already in the Capital City, so there was no rush to leave.

Zhao Old Madam quickly told ng Yao about Zhao Xiaohua’s matter, and ng Yao imdiately stood up to head out.

"You’re going to Hundred Herbs Hall, let Huang Ying lead the way." Zhao Old Madam urged, "Don’t be too anxious, I’ll have Zhao Ting enter the palace and plead with His Majesty, certainly nothing will happen to Xiaohua."

ng Yao walked fast, and Huang Ying was utterly astonished, but kept pace without slowing, addressing ng Yao as the madam.

Right now, ng Yao naturally had no ti to dwell on such titles with Huang Ying.

Huang Ying was smart and arranged for Zhao Mansion’s carriage to be ready.

In no ti, they arrived at the Hundred Herbs Hall.

Those who couldn’t wake up were now all brought to the Hundred Herbs Hall, attended by their staff for daily needs.

Lu Luoxing was so excited to see ng Yao that he stuttered.

Zhao Xiaohua directly lunged into ng Yao’s arms, "Mom, there’s nothing wrong with the calming incense I made, really nothing wrong."

ng Yao patted Zhao Xiaohua’s head, "Don’t be afraid, Xiaohua, mom is here. Where’s your second brother?"

"Second brother went with Brother Yun to investigate who these people had contact with." Zhao Xiaohua said chokingly.

"First, take mom to see those people." ng Yao said.

"Follow ." Lu Luoxing led ng Yao to the backyard.

ng Yao checked each person’s pulse. Although none had a completely healthy pulse, they all had minor ailnts that wouldn’t cause a coma.

ng Yao frowned, communicating ntally with the system, "Can you tell what this is about?"
