Raegar watched the Old One leave the battlefield, baffled, but soon had to return to the present as more monsters stord forward. The Fusion Soldiers clashed with them, killing the horde easily, just as Dahlia appeared beside him, a smile crossing her pretty face. ''I'm glad you're okay, handso. That creature was sothing else and will cause us trouble.''

''Yes, I know it will be back sooner or later,'' he responded, stretching his body to try to get rid of the exhaustion.

Just then, Arthur and Shadow appeared, looking battered thanks to the dented armor. The Blue Knight comnted. ''They're the sa as thousands of years ago, my lord. Always playing gas and fleeing from a fight.''

''The last Fusion King couldn't wipe them out,'' Shadow added. ''They flee into their realm to get away from us.''

Raegar nodded, a smile appearing on his face. ''I'll make sure to get into them; it may not be easy, but I'll do it.''

When the Fusion Knights heard this, they nodded before fading into the realm to rest as the soldiers vanished. Once the battlefield was cleared, Dahlia suddenly grabbed him after his legs gave way. The empress giggled as Fusion Overdrive took its tool on his body, but soon enough, a stream of healing Aether surged into him.

Monts later, Raegar's eyes fluttered closed, the remaining won staggered into view, their faces shadowed with weariness and their bodies bearing the weight of battle. Selene erged from the haze, her red skin littered with fresh bruises and scrapes, yet her yellow eyes blazed.

A wide smile curved her lips, proof of the thrill she found in the chaos, unbothered by the sudden attack. Dominique, standing nearby, caught his gaze and offered a tired smile, her expression a mix of relief and exhaustion. Her shoulders sagged, but the warmth in her big green eyes reassured him that she was okay.

Zahara knelt beside him, her focus intensified as she tended to both him and Dahlia. Above her outstretched hand, a glowing book materialized, its pages shimring with Aether. Her fingers danced through the air, guiding the book's energy as she wove spells to nd their wounds.

While Raegar felt refreshed thanks to the Half-Elf's Healing Aether and Dahlia dropped beside him, breathing heavily as a swarm of Imperial Guards surrounded them in case any more monsters attacked. As this happened, Yuki, Alice, and Drusilla rushed around the palace, killing the creatures hiding in the shadows waiting to attack soone.

Once the last of the monsters fell, their cries fading into the night's stillness, Drusilla, Alice, and Yuki erged from the fight and approached him. Their faces bore a range of weary expressions, each etched with the toll of battle, eyes shadowed with fatigue, yet glinting with the hard-won triumph of survival.

Drusilla was the first to move. With a burst of energy, she surged forward. The Dark Fairy closed the distance in an instant, her strong limbs enveloping him in a fierce embrace, pulling his battered form against hers. Before he could speak, she pressed her lips to his in a passionate kiss that he returned.

Following this, the other won kissed him and made their way back to the palace as Zahara glanced at Dahlia. ''Most of the nobles fled the place to a nearby airfield, and one of the commanders said a dozen attacks happened across Dawnfire.''

When the brunette heard this, she sighed in frustration. ''Damn monsters, we reinforced most places, but I bet they attacked the undefended settlents.''

Raegar was about to reply until Dahlia rushed off alongside the Imperial Guards, as ten stayed behind to guard them. This amused the group as Yuki led the way back to their private quarters, that wasn't damaged. When they arrived, everyone slumped down and started relaxing.

While doing this, the mages began repairing the palace, replacing the broken wall as other soldiers removed the bodies. Storing them in storage rings to sell to the guilt to get sothing out of it. Raegar was lying back, drinking sake as the harem sat around him chatting about the fight.

Dominique turned to him, a curious glint in her green eyes. ''What was that thing, Rae?'' she asked.

''It was apart of sothing that wiped out the world before ours began,'' he answered, shocking the entire group.

Alice and Selene's heads snapped to him, the others looked at him causing him to explain. ''Well, there's been many stages to this planet. More like era's and everyone has been wiped out by sothing.''

''What could do such a thing?'' Zahara asked.

Raegar glanced at the blonde, replying to her question. ''An astroid from the heavens, a massive tsunami, many things, Za. This world is older than my last and has had trillions of people that ca before us.''

He took a sip of the sake, feeling the liquid burning his throat as he continued revealing history they would never know. ''The last ti, it was the Old Ones who ca for the world. If I read the mories correctly, they wiped out most life and destroyed everything.''

''Then how are we here?'' Yuki finally spoke up.

''Ten thousand people survived,'' Raegar glanced at the empress. ''It was your ancestor who led them, Dahlia. Mine was soldiers in the small force the first king created.''

The group looked confused as Alice shook her head and inquired. ''So why's there's so many people now?''

''This happened close to fifty thousand years ago and all our races breed rather quick,'' he answered just as the door slamd open.

Raegar glanced at the newcor, Nivara. Her red eyes blazed as she exclaid. ''What was that horrifying aura?!''

''Rae and Dahlia forced an Old One to retreat,'' Dominique answered, a smug smile curling her lips. ''It was a brilliant fight, perfect teamwork.''

The Dark Elf looked at Raegar with a expression full of venom only to go wide eyed when seeing Drusilla floating in front of her. She transford into her bigger form and poked the woman in her chest as she warned. ''I know your race hates everyone but stop looking at my boy like that. He's not like the others, I'm his lover you know? A Dark Fairy, a race everyones scared of!''

When Nivara heard this her eyes softened as she revealed. ''Humans enslaved my family, forcing to turn to this.''

''To assasination? Yes I know,'' Drusilla said, waving her away. ''I tell you what, Rae is going to the Western Islands soon, why don't you go with him and see for yourself?''

Raegar was suprised at these words but went to speak but the Fairy held her hand up, smiling. ''Let deal with this, handso,'' she said, turning back to Nivara. ''Choose, Elf. You may see sothing you'll never expect.''

The silver-haired woman nodded, her dark grey cheek going darker. ''Okay, I'll go because you vouched for him, Dark Fairy.''

''I'm Drusilla,'' the blonde saide with a big smile.

Following that, Raegar turned back to the sake as Drusilla dragged Nivara to the others who began chatting with the Dark Elf. He continued drinking before turning to the window as the nightsky was peaceful for once. Stars lit it up like a canvas putting him at ease when seeing the scene.

By the ti the alcohol hit him, most of the won were now sleeping around the lounge with Nivara sitting there looking uncomfortable. He stood up and approached the Dark Elf, sitting beside her as he spoke. ''I know you hate my kind, but can you tell about yours?''

The Dark Elf looked confused but shrugged. ''We live at the southern tip of the continent in small villages but lately we've turned into assassins with the last two generations. Now we've turned the mountains into fortresses that keep outsiders from getting close.''

''Intriguing,'' Raegar murmured, his voice low and warm, his gaze lingering on Nivara with genuine curiosity about her people.

Sensing her reluctance to share more, he offered a gentle smile, his tone softening. ''I'll stop the questions.''

Nivara's brow furrowed, her expression a mix of confusion and wariness. Before she could respond, Raegar flicked his wrist and the collar around her neck dissolved in a shimr and she reacted instantly, closing the distance between them in a heartbeat. An Aether blade materialized in her grip, its edge pressed lightly against his throat as she hissed. ''Why would you do sothing so reckless?''

Raegar didn't flinch, his eyes locked on hers, drawing him in. A faint, playful smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. ''Because you won't do it,'' he said smoothly.

He leaned ever so slightly closer, whispering in her pointy eat. ''And because I've noticed the way you look at , curious, perhaps, after all Drusilla and the others have shared.''

Nivara's grip on the blade didn't waver, but her eyes flickered with sothing softer, a spark of acknowledgnt. She tilted her head. ''You're not wrong,'' she admitted. ''A human with such power, surrounded by remarkable won. It's the kind of strength we Dark Elves can't help but admire.''
