University exams are completely different from those in high school. As long as you’re not aiming for a scholarship, the standard is sixty points, one more is a waste.

Zhao ii has been busy this sester trying to improve her outward image, and the foreign language class was taught by her rival, so she didn’t learn the knowledge solidly and felt uncertain.

In the last half month before the final exams, after communicating with Shi Yang, Zhao ii decided to move into the university dormitory. Every day, she followed Peng Hui and Qian Sing to study late into the night, hang out in the library, and camp out in the listening practice room.

Even if she ended up with dark circles from studying every day, Zhao ii squeezed out two hours from her tight schedule to go to the fitness center and strengthen her abs.

Every day Peng Hui and Qian Sing would flop onto their dorm beds, promptly shifting their gaze from their textbooks to Zhao ii, watching her hurriedly packing her gym gear and rushing back and forth, unable to help but sigh, "Do you really need to work this hard?"

Zhao ii looked back, directly lifted her shirt to reveal the faint muscle lines on her stomach, threw them a smug look, and turned resolutely towards the fitness center.

Peng Hui rolled her eyes and muttered to Qian Sing, "If it wasn’t snowing heavily outside, I bet she would be flaunting around the school in a bikini!"

Qian Sing reached out and pinched her still round belly, saying leisurely, "I think you’re just jealous. Hey, how did you solve the second big question on the fourth test paper? Let have a look and see."

Zhao ii braved the wind and snow after her workout, threw on her clothes, intending to return to the dorm and take a shower.

Just as she was walking on the sidewalk in front of the school, she thought of Peng Hui and Qian Sing holed up in the dorm, paused her steps and turned towards the restaurant across the street, packed three servings of noodles and ordered two side dishes, then headed back to the school gate.

While crossing the street, she didn’t know who had spilled so water on the ground, which had frozen into a bright patch of ice, so Zhao ii quickly sidestepped to avoid it.

She managed to avoid it, but suddenly a small, light yellow figure shot out from behind, directly brushed past Zhao ii, stepped on the ice with a thud, cried out miserably and fell face down.

Zhao ii was shocked, turned her head to look, and was amused.

A little girl who looked about four or five years old, wearing a dium-length light yellow down jacket, round and plump was lying on the ice surface. Even though she fell, she didn’t cry, struggling to get up. This child was extrely cute, with a chubby little round face and big, bright, grape-like eyes.

Zhao ii quickly squatted down cautiously, reached out to pull her up, and moved her to a spot with no ice.

The little girl didn’t cry, but her eyes were nonetheless red, looking at Zhao ii like a little rabbit.

Seeing her like this, Zhao ii’s heart imdiately lted, she patted the snow off the little girl’s clothing and asked, "Does it hurt?"

The little girl nodded her head.

Zhao ii rubbed her arms and legs, looked around, yet didn’t see any adult with her, and asked, "Where are your parents?"

The little girl thought for a mont and said, "Uncle is shopping."

Zhao ii was speechless, this child must have snuck out by herself, couldn’t just leave her, so she asked, "Do you know where your uncle is shopping?"

With an extensive gesture, the little girl pointed, Zhao ii glanced towards the snack street, then silently refocused her gaze, "And what’s your na?"

The little girl answered sweetly, "Dou Dou."

Zhao ii laughed, hey, sharing the sa na as the dog Skinny’s family keeps.

"Dou Dou!" soone called out from afar.

Dou Dou quickly turned around, pulling her tender voice, shouted, "Uncle!"

Zhao ii raised her head to see, stunned, feeling sowhat familiar from afar, as the person approached, recognized that it was the schoolmate who had gone to the maternity store during the National Day event.

Dong Wenjie ran over, instantly recognized Zhao ii, who was holding Dou Dou like she had found her at the roadside.

Dou Dou released Zhao ii’s hand, dashed into Dong Wenjie’s arms, she was quite strong before, now she was aggrieved, pouting and crying, "Uncle, where did you go? I fell down, it hurts so much, wah wah..."

Dong Wenjie was left crying and laughing by her quick turn of bla, comforted her with a few words, looked up at Zhao ii, smiling and greeted, "It’s you, what a coincidence, do you rember ?"

Zhao ii laughed, "I do, is she your niece?"

Dong Wenjie said, "Yeah, my sister’s child, ca to visit ."

Zhao ii sincerely praised, "She’s pretty cute."

Dong Wenjie smiled, looked down at Dou Dou who was sobbing, "See, your aunt said you’re cute, but crying makes you look ugly."

Once Dou Dou heard she might beco ugly, she instantly stopped crying, her tears vanished like magic.

Zhao ii burst out laughing, this child was really amusing.

Dong Wenjie suddenly asked, "You said you were from the Math Departnt before, did you actually trick ?"

Zhao ii was surprised, felt awkward, didn’t expect Dong Wenjie would actually co looking for her.

She smiled sheepishly, "Actually, I’m from the Foreign Languages Departnt."

Dong Wenjie nodded knowingly, not angry, politely suggested, "It’s freezing out, would you like to have a cup of milk tea?"

Zhao ii declined, "No need."

Dou Dou added, "Auntie, go on, if you don’t, my uncle probably won’t buy anything."

Zhao ii laughed heartily, couldn’t help but reach out to pinch her chubby little cheek.

Dong Wenjie warmly invited, "Just to the one over there, just to say thanks for helping to take care of Dou Dou."

With noodle packs in hand, Zhao ii shook her head, "Thanks for the kindness, but I’m bringing food for my roommates, if it takes too long, they’ll miss out on eating."

Dong Wenjie was taken aback, slightly regretful, said, "Then let’s do it next ti."

Zhao ii smiled politely, waved goodbye to Dou Dou, and turned to leave.

Standing in place, Dong Wenjie watched Zhao ii’s retreating figure, staring blankly.

Dou Dou placed her chilly little hand on Dong Wenjie’s chin, asking, "Uncle, aren’t we leaving?"

Dong Wenjie regathered his gaze, looked down at Dou Dou, kissed her plump cheek, "Dou Dou, you’re truly my lucky charm!"

With a puzzled look on her face, Dou Dou stared at Dong Wenjie.

Dong Wenjie asked, "How about that aunt being your aunt-in-law?"

Dou Dou asked, "What’s an aunt-in-law?"

Dong Wenjie replied, "ans my wife."

Dou Dou imdiately reacted as if facing a threat, "No, if you have an aunt-in-law, you won’t care for anymore."

Dong Wenjie cajoled, "You’re wrong, having an aunt-in-law ans the two of us will care for you together."

Dou Dou’s grape-like eyes glead, this proposal clearly more acceptable, she nodded, "Okay then, let her be my aunt-in-law."
