Shi Yang saw Qu Chaozong’s expression and paused for a mont. Just as he was about to speak, a young, beautiful woman followed closely behind Qu Chaozong out of the elevator.
The woman was wearing a black trench coat, with the front open, revealing the black dress tightly wrapped around her body. She wore a pair of black high heels, her long, fair legs exposed, creating a stark contrast as if she were in a completely different season from those around her who were bundled up tightly.
When Zhao ii saw the other woman, she was montarily stunned and asked in surprise, "Aren’t you Zhang Zhao’s sister?"
Zhang Xin glanced at Shi Yang, her gaze quickly sweeping past him and landing on Zhao ii’s face, then she smiled, "Hi, you can just call Sister Xin."
Zhao ii obediently greeted her, "Hello, Sister Xin."
Zhang Xin nodded with a smile and turned to look at Qu Chaozong, "Aren’t you going to introduce us?"
Qu Chaozong braced himself and said, "This is my buddy, Shi Yang. And this is, uh, Zhang Xin."
Shi Yang nodded towards Zhang Xin, "Hello."
Zhang Xin gave him a polite smile, "Hello."
Qu Chaozong explained, "She scratched my car this morning and insisted on treating us to a al."
Qu Chaozong gave Shi Yang a look: Don’t agree, buddy, I don’t want to owe her.
Shi Yang glanced at Qu Chaozong, then turned to Zhang Xin and said, "Oh really, I didn’t know. I’ve already paid the bill ahead of ti."
Zhang Xin smiled slightly, "Is that so? Then I will have to host you next ti instead. You don’t mind having an extra person at dinner tonight, do you?"
Given how far the conversation had gone, no one could say anything about turning her away.
Shi Yang took the initiative to go pay extra, and Qu Chaozong quickly chased after him.
Zhang Xin’s gaze followed Qu Chaozong for a couple of glances before turning back to Zhao ii and asked, "Are you quite close with my brother?"
Zhao ii thought for a mont before saying, "Not really, I don’t usually hang out with him."
Zhang Xin nodded and suddenly asked, "ii, does Brother Chao have a girlfriend?"
"Hmm?" Zhao ii followed her gaze and saw Qu Chaozong with his arm around Shi Yang’s shoulder, the two of them talking sideways.
Zhao ii turned back, eting Zhang Xin’s gaze, and shook her head, "He likely doesn’t."
Zhang Xin responded with an "oh" and inquired, "Does he have a woman he likes?"
Zhao ii hesitated, uncertain if she should disclose Qu Chaozong’s private matters, she didn’t answer but instead asked, "Sister Xin, why are you curious about Brother Chao’s affairs?"
Zhang Xin straightforwardly said, "I’m interested in Brother Chao and want to pursue him."
Zhao ii’s eyes widened, staring at Zhang Xin, "Really?"
Zhang Xin laughed, "Why would I lie to you?"
Zhao ii found it quite unbelievable and asked, "You’ve only t Brother Chao today, right?"
Zhang Xin gave a mysterious smile, "Who said it’s my first ti seeing him? I t him once before, made quite an impression, but I didn’t expect to bump into him again today."
Zhao ii remarked sincerely, "Sister Xin, your personality is totally different from Zhang Zhao’s."
Zhang Xin curiously asked, "Is it?"
Zhao ii nodded affirmatively, "Your personality is much better than his."
Zhang Xin laughed and pinched Zhao ii’s cheek, "You’re quite cute too, I really like you."
Zhao ii grinned, showing her neat white teeth, "I like you too."
Zhang Xin was beautiful, had a straightforward personality, and Zhao ii had a good impression of her. In just a few words, their relationship quickly grew closer.
Just as he got a chance to pay the bill, Shi Yang teasingly said to Qu Chaozong, "Buddy, you seem pretty lucky with the ladies!"
Qu Chaozong frowned and whispered, "Lucky? Do you know what kind of car she drives?"
Qu Chaozong pursed his lips, "A Benz! She’s loaded, and that young man driving her around this morning, who knows what their relationship is? A woman like this has a chaotic personal life, buddy, I can’t afford to play with fire."

Shi Yang agreed.
Qu Chaozong muttered, "I’d thought with you here, she’d maybe shift her attention, but she just won’t let go!"
"Damn!" Shi Yang raised a fist and punched him, "What a jerk!"
Qu Chaozong grinned mischievously, "Anyways, you’re single too, isn’t that tempting?"
Shi Yang glanced at Zhao ii chatting warmly with Zhang Xin and retorted, "Get lost! Not everyone is like you!"
Qu Chaozong chuckled, looking shifty and mischievous, just as he was about to speak, his peripheral vision swept over accidentally, and his smile froze on his face. Zhang Xin was leaning against the wall, talking to Zhao ii while staring at him.
Zhang Xin’s gaze was slippery, not fixed on one spot but slowly moved downward over his face, as if stripping him with her eyes.
Qu Chaozong felt his back hairs stand on end, quickly avoided eye contact, and asked Shi Yang, "Finished paying? Let’s hurry inside?"
Shi Yang turned back to call Zhao ii and Zhang Xin, while Qu Chaozong himself quickly stepped into the dining area.
Zhang Xin watched Qu Chaozong’s almost comical retreating figure with a smile on her lips before following them in.
While picking food in the buffet area, Shi Yang habitually stayed close to Zhao ii, mainly to prevent her from choosing dishes that might look nice but weren’t fresh.
Qu Chaozong favored hairy crabs, holding a tray and heading over to them.
Zhao ii linked arms with Shi Yang, took a glance at Qu Chaozong and Zhang Xin standing far away, and whispered, "Bro, I think Sister Xin is quite nice."
Shi Yang was picking large prawns with tongs, and upon hearing this, took a look at Zhang Xin heading towards Qu Chaozong and frowned, "What’s nice about her?"

Just as Shi Yang was about to answer, his phone rang, he quickly handed the tray to Zhao ii, took out his phone, saw it was a client’s call, gestured to Zhao ii to keep choosing food, and went to a quieter area to answer the call.
